Fantastic energy and entertainment provided by the host, Vinnie Medugno, The Chicklets (girl band tribute group), The Drifters, Brooklyn Bridge, Vito Picone and the Elegants, and Jay and The Americans. Even a surprise visit by Doc Elmo singing Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer!
the show was great listening to the 50s- 60s and 70s songs, bring us back too when we were young. our era could never be duplicate with everything. God help us
I really enjoyed the concert, all the acts were very good though I was late and missed the Drifters- damn! I have so many memories associated with the groups and the songs, it was happy/sad. And some of the remarks about getting old were very funny. The theater is spectacular, like being in a European cathedral. I hope you hold more great bands/concerts there, I'll definitely attend
All acts were fabulous and sounded amazing and did not use autotune…
If you want to remember, Jay Black and his music, its worth seeing Jay and the Americans.
We had a wonderful evening enjoying such great groups. It was a perfect way to start celebrating Christmas!
Went with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. What a great show! Brought back a lot of memories as to when music was really clean and enjoyable. The surprise of the night came when Jay and the Americans played My Prayer by the Platters... It was our wedding song and was totally unexpected!! We look forward to attending another event real soon.
One of the best shows I've been to. Met Gary Lewis - such a nice gentleman - so sweet that he took a few minutes to talk to me. I'll be back to see all of them again.
My wife and I have been following Jay and the Americans for years. As always they did not disappoint us. It was sad that Howie Kane had passed but the show must go on and the Americans and the band did not miss a beat. We will continue to go to their shows when they are within a couple hundred mile radius of our home as they always put on a great show.
