My husband have I have been attending Salute to The Sixties for a couple of years. We have enjoyed each one. It really takes you back to a time where things were a lot more simple. We hope there will be many more!
my husband and I loved the concert. We had great seats and enjoyed every minute. Even without Rob Grill to lead the Grassroots... the band was great!!! The Buckinghams did not disappoint!! I had seen them years ago at the Star Plaza.. and they were great then, too. We especially loved their salute to the group Chicago... it was so awesome!!! Davy Jones was funny and endearing. We wish he would have sang more Monkee songs, but all in all we loved his show.
Show was awesome, did miss Rob from the Grassroots. Popcorn was dry and crumbly needed butter. Pop was not sold by the vendor, very disappointing. Hot dogs might have been nice also. looking forward to the Monkees coming to town. Also, love the Cryin Shames the best of your oldies shows. Didn't throw out any tee shirts or CD's kind of disappointed.
I would have liked the Grass Roots to play longer. They have many good songs I did not get to hear. Davey was funny. I enjoyed his comedy as well as the classic Monkees songs.
Brought back GREAAAAAAAT Memories of A Special Girl who is now my Wife !!!!
3.5 hours for pur enjoyment. The Grass Roots were great even thou Rob Grill was ill, the Buckinghams...fansatic and Davey Jones funny and enternaing
Great show. We missed Rob Grill but his replacement was very good and we wish Rob the best. The Buckinghams - (our favorite) was fantastic as usual and very entertaining. Davy Jones also did a wonderful job. Loved the show and looking forward to the Monkee Reunion Tour.
Had a great experience!!!!! The Star Plaza treated us very well. Meals were delicious. Show was such fun. Liked not having to worry about paying as we went!
Davy Jones was horrific and we would never go to see him again even if the tickets were free. He talked way more than he sang and told jokes that were not at all funny!!!!
