Great music, terrible venue

Cody Jinks on Tour
Seeing Cody Jinks onstage, you get a sense of what it must've felt like to catch outlaw country legends like Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson back in the 1970s when their raw-boned brand of country music was hitting folks for the first time. Jinks brings his deep, rich voice to bear on tunes that manage to incorporate those influences while still feeling completely current. Jinks has as much rock 'n' roll in him as country, and you're as likely to hear him and his band cover songs by the likes of Dire Straits and Pink Floyd as you are to catch them playing tunes made famous by country giants like Alan Jackson and Keith Whitley. Either way, a Cody Jinks concert is first and foremost a party, where the whole audience gets involved in singing along and creating an atmosphere of fun and community.
Cody Jinks in Concert
Hailing from the Fort Worth suburb of Haltom City, Texas, Cody Jinks has forged a sound that bears strong links to fellow Texans like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. But even though classic outlaw country is a huge influence on Jinks, he actually started out as a rocker. Long before he ever became a country singer, he was the frontman for a metal band called Unchecked Aggression in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s. He tapped into his deep country roots and reinvented himself in the late '00s, but the raw, rebellious spirit of rock 'n' roll will always be a part of Jinks' musical makeup. He released his first album in 2008 and gradually built up a grassroots following over the years. By the time he put out Lifers a decade later, his audience had grown to the point that the record made it to the No. 2 spot on the country charts, proving there's still a place in country music for rough-hewn individualism.

Cody Jinks Rocks! Live Oak is an awesome venue to see your favorite artist in an intimate setting.
Wonderful show, lot's of vendors. Only complaint is the location of port a jons are quite a walk from the seats close to the stage. Need some on the left side near the vendor set up.
Great venue and wonderful crowd! A great mix of fans from teens to older like me
I left the venue when the first singer started because there was no screens to even see the artists. I might as well have just been listening on the radio or Spotify. I won’t go there again. I didn’t even stay to hear Cody Jinks.
Cody Jinks seemed to be good, but the sound was muddled and there was no view even though we had “good seats”. The problem with this venue is that there is little or no rise in the elevation of the good seats. They are level. You have no chance to see over the people in front of you. The stage is not high enough. In other venues you could rely on the jumbo tron. But Live Oak Pavilion doesn’t have any. So, enjoy the back of the person in front of you. Also sound was not very clear for the first half of the performance. This venue seems like a temporary space with seats that are folding chairs on grass, porta potties, and a stage that looks like it could blow over. Looks like something a fraternity set up for a weekend concert. Greenfield Lake is a much better venue, just smaller.
This is the second time we saw Cody. He was charming, engaging, and his talent is unsurpassed by none. I cannot wait to see him again. LOVE LOVE LOVE
We had a damn good time. The opening acts were great and Cody Jinks put on a helluva show! The Live Oak Bank Pavillion was a great venue as well. Perfectly laid out place and courteous staff throughout.
Great venue, Cody Jinks, The Steelwoods, and Erin Viancourt were awesome. Easy in and out, good restrooms, my only complaint and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the alcohol prices...$14 for a 24 oz beer is a bit excessive. Other than that it's a great place...I'll just drink more before I go in next time.
Great show and line up! Cody Jinks is awesome and we loved Steel Woods!
