Zac Brown Band in Concert

Zac Brown is the founder, front man, and lead vocalist for the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning, southern rock group Zac Brown Band. In addition to being the founding member of Zac Brown Band and leading it through its overwhelming success, Brown is also credited as an impactful songwriter, producer, record label head, business man, and philanthropist - making him one of the sharpest minds among today's generation of artists focused on shifting the paradigm of the music business.

Brown was born in 1978 in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in a family of 12 children. Later on, Brown attended the University of West Georgia and in 2002, founded Zac Brown Band. Since then, Brown's passion shifted to music and he went on to start his own label, Southern Ground Artists, in 2003. From there, Brown's first widely distributed studio album with Zac Brown Band, The Foundation, sold more than 5 million copies making the album 5x platinum following its release in 2008. The lead song off The Foundation, "Chicken Fried," the band's first national release, also went 5x platinum with over 5 million sales and over 255 million streams. Brown has released four studio albums, two live albums, a greatest hits album, and an extended play produced by Dave Grohl, all with Zac Brown Band - now completely made up with Brown along with Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Clay Cook, Chris Fryar, Coy Bowles, Daniel de los Reyes, and Matt Mangano.

Zac Brown Band's success can largely be attributed to Brown's interest in pushing creative boundaries through collaborations with top artists across genres including Avicii, Chris Cornell, Jimmy Buffett, Foo Fighters, Sheryl Crow, Sara Bareilles, and Jason Mraz to name a few. Most recently, Brown worked with Shawn Mendes on writing his latest single with Zac Brown Band titled "Someone I Used To Know," which debuted on Billboard's Hot Country Song Chart the week of its release in Nov. 2018. The new material comes as the band is preparing to kick off their "Down The Rabbit Hole Live," spring 2019 tour this coming March, following 2018's 31-stop summer tour of the same name.

Most recently, in December of 2018, Brown announced the launch of his new entertainment and lifestyle branded parent company, Zac Brown Collective, formerly known as Southern Ground. The reimagined company expanded its brand portfolio; further rising Brown's artistic and entrepreneurial pursuits to new heights. Zac Brown Collective brings together the best in music, film, food, fashion, custom design, and American-made gear to form a company made up of brands that are fully grounded in the "American experience."

Brown's commitment to giving back has also been at the forefront of his career since day one when he founded Camp Southern Ground. The camp, Brown's biggest passion, is an inclusive camp serving children ages 7-17 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, social or emotional challenges, and typically developing children. The camp's off-season programming supports post 9/11 veterans in their readjustment to civilian life. Zac Brown Collective allocates funds and resources to the camp - making all of Brown's work beneficial to a cause dear to his heart. In 2017, Brown was honored with the CRS Humanitarian Award, presented annually to musicians who use their careers to serve others in need and contribute to the greater good. The award was presented to Brown for his work supporting our nation's veterans and for his nonprofit passion project Camp Southern Ground.

Zac Brown Band is represented by Creative Artists Agency, SB Projects, communications and branding agency JONESWORKS, & Zac Brown Collective.

    Venue was awful

by Sam on 11/7/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

Half of the speakers at the venue went out during the first song. The band didn’t do anything about it, and they just kept playing. Super bummed out that we missed an entire hour of the set, we couldn’t hear anything!

    Good but not great

by ZD on 11/7/23iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

Had a lot of fun. Very talented group. Overall great show but could have done with less of the heavy rock. Would have liked some more Buffett. Stick to country and pop.

    Great Show

by Music Fan on 11/7/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

We don't consider us Zac Brown fans, but simply love live music so we thought we'd give it a shot. We were blown away! Extremely talented band. Loved everything about it. Including, the Mid-Florida Amphitheater. It's now on our watch list.

    Great until the finale.

by BH on 11/7/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

I very much enjoyed the Zac Brown Band concert and their opening act, but I was disappointed at the very end when they sang U2's With or Without You. Why does a band that isn't a cover band sing other bands' songs? It wasn't necessary. I've seen U2 in concert!

This is a really great band

by Great show on 11/7/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

The drop off for Uber was over a mile from the venue and a very long walk through sand and high grass across the fairground property. That sucked. But the concert was good.

    Great Concert

by Gator Brian on 11/6/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

Zac Brown put on a show with his super talented band. The only negative was him passing on doing more of his popular songs to do cover songs from other artists but all in all, a really fun concert.

Zac Brown is a superb entertainer!

by Sandy P on 11/6/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

I paid for the upgraded parking, and the fast lane access - we were about number 20 and 21 who entered the event. I paid for the lawn seated chair area in row 2 - I cannot imagine better seats. We were comfortable, not crowded at all - and the chairs were up a hill from the pavilion so we could see over all the people standing. The huge screens are really a nice bonus - we could see them on the stage and see the close-ups. Zac Brown really gives you a fantastic show - top quality musicians - every note on key, fabulous harmony - best concert experience ever!!! I love his voice and you can tell that he is loving every moment of the show just as much as we are.

The VIP Lounge experience was horrible

by Stephanie on 11/6/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

The VIP Lounge experience was horrible. Some company bought a few wristbands and live nation employees decided to let them in without wristbands. Someone went up and asked about the wristbands and the gentleman was told that someone in their company had all of them and they would get them on. They never did because the lady ran out and just kept telling them to let them in. There was supposed to be beer and wine. The wine was warm and there was no real beer just canned fruity drinks. Those employees also kept running out to the catering tent and taking all the food before the catering employees could get to the tent. The catering workers were told not to start serving until the concert started and to make the food they cooked in an air fryer last for 90 minutes. The food was terrible and cold when we actually got to eat a piece. Worst VIP experience ever. The bad was phenomenal though.

    Zach Brown Band Rocks!

by Steve on 11/6/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

The Zach Brown Band was just magnificent to watch live! I am not the biggest fan of the Country Music genre. However, TZBB is comprised of an army of incredibly talented musicians! They can all sing background vocals, and in particular the female guitarist/ Banjo/ mandolin and organ player who Halen es to be pregnant was just a delight to watch! For the finale each member of the band sang a classic country song; and she played Dolly Parton’s “I will always love you” just bringing down the house! Zach Brown peppered in U2, Radio Head, Beastie Boys and tributes to Jimmy Buffet amongst his monster hits. Last, as a Veteran I appreciate the level of reverie and respect paid to our troops by the band and his beautiful redemption of “America the Beautiful”. Easily one of the best concerts I’ve been to in many years. Thank you Zach Brown Band for a wonderful time! Don’t hesitate, if they come near you check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

    Great performance

by 10ecLinks on 11/6/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

Band puts on a phenomenal show. The encore including every stage member singing is incredible. I didn’t have the best seats, but they were standing all the way to the back of the lawn for the hit songs.

Great band, but terrible acoustics in section 17

by George81 on 11/6/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

We love Zac Brown band but it was unfortunate that we could not hear their music clearly in section 17, which is in the far right side of the amphitheater, as you face the stage. Specifically, both the volume level of the music, and the quality (very tiny, almost no bass) of the sound were below average, so poor that we couldn't understand the lyrics in the songs. When we walked to the middle of the amphitheater, The sound quality improved dramatically both in volume and in quality. After standing in the aisle for a while, the security team politely asked us to move on.. we understand but we're disappointed all the same. It's a shame, because we had seen the Zac Brown band a few months earlier in NH and we could hear every single song and every single lyric in the song. Our advice, avoid sitting in section 17... Or the sides of the amphitheater
