Zac Brown Band in Concert
Zac Brown is the founder, front man, and lead vocalist for the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning, southern rock group Zac Brown Band. In addition to being the founding member of Zac Brown Band and leading it through its overwhelming success, Brown is also credited as an impactful songwriter, producer, record label head, business man, and philanthropist - making him one of the sharpest minds among today's generation of artists focused on shifting the paradigm of the music business.
Brown was born in 1978 in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in a family of 12 children. Later on, Brown attended the University of West Georgia and in 2002, founded Zac Brown Band. Since then, Brown's passion shifted to music and he went on to start his own label, Southern Ground Artists, in 2003. From there, Brown's first widely distributed studio album with Zac Brown Band, The Foundation, sold more than 5 million copies making the album 5x platinum following its release in 2008. The lead song off The Foundation, "Chicken Fried," the band's first national release, also went 5x platinum with over 5 million sales and over 255 million streams. Brown has released four studio albums, two live albums, a greatest hits album, and an extended play produced by Dave Grohl, all with Zac Brown Band - now completely made up with Brown along with Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Clay Cook, Chris Fryar, Coy Bowles, Daniel de los Reyes, and Matt Mangano.
Zac Brown Band's success can largely be attributed to Brown's interest in pushing creative boundaries through collaborations with top artists across genres including Avicii, Chris Cornell, Jimmy Buffett, Foo Fighters, Sheryl Crow, Sara Bareilles, and Jason Mraz to name a few. Most recently, Brown worked with Shawn Mendes on writing his latest single with Zac Brown Band titled "Someone I Used To Know," which debuted on Billboard's Hot Country Song Chart the week of its release in Nov. 2018. The new material comes as the band is preparing to kick off their "Down The Rabbit Hole Live," spring 2019 tour this coming March, following 2018's 31-stop summer tour of the same name.
Most recently, in December of 2018, Brown announced the launch of his new entertainment and lifestyle branded parent company, Zac Brown Collective, formerly known as Southern Ground. The reimagined company expanded its brand portfolio; further rising Brown's artistic and entrepreneurial pursuits to new heights. Zac Brown Collective brings together the best in music, film, food, fashion, custom design, and American-made gear to form a company made up of brands that are fully grounded in the "American experience."
Brown's commitment to giving back has also been at the forefront of his career since day one when he founded Camp Southern Ground. The camp, Brown's biggest passion, is an inclusive camp serving children ages 7-17 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, social or emotional challenges, and typically developing children. The camp's off-season programming supports post 9/11 veterans in their readjustment to civilian life. Zac Brown Collective allocates funds and resources to the camp - making all of Brown's work beneficial to a cause dear to his heart. In 2017, Brown was honored with the CRS Humanitarian Award, presented annually to musicians who use their careers to serve others in need and contribute to the greater good. The award was presented to Brown for his work supporting our nation's veterans and for his nonprofit passion project Camp Southern Ground.
Zac Brown Band is represented by Creative Artists Agency, SB Projects, communications and branding agency JONESWORKS, & Zac Brown Collective.

Everything was especially wonderful EXCEPT part of the sound system went out on the opening notes. It took them and hour and half to fix it
From the onset of Zac’s performance one might expect this being the last stop of the tour the band might be in a hurry to get home. Nothing would be further from the truth. Truly a wonderful performance by everyone involved. Honoring our veterans, acknowledging his love of Jimmy Buffet with a duet with the late entertainer. Bringing a wounded veteran onstage to the cheers of everyone in attendance. Zac tugged on emotions throughout the night. I was impressed. A great show and his band may very well be the best group of musicians and singers in country music. Yes he let every member of his band a chance at the spotlight and they didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait till they visit our city again. By all means if you have the opportunity to see them live, do yourself a favor and go and do it without any expectations.
ZBB was as good as expected. Great live band and King Calloway didn't disappoint as an opener. Never disappointed when they play Tampa.
It was a bit of a rocky start as the speaker blew out in our section (11). By being polite and advising the crew members of the situation I was treating very kindly by them. I was given a new seat in a different section. The seats were amazing and the concert and Zac Brown Band was awesome. We have been to several concerts at this venue and Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Zac Brown by far were my absolute favorites! They truly put on a show! Also, I loved the tribute to the military and the gifting of a new motorized device for one of our own! Truly moving how ZBB supports this man and the military!
Zac Brown out did himself. Looking forward to seeing him again.
We had awesome seats but I still think concert tickets are marked up ridiculously!
Speakers went out in the back of the concert and we couldn't hear the concert at all !!!!!!! Nothing was fixed so we missed the entire show of Zack Brown. Everyone that worked there just kept saying they are aware of the problem, but nothing was done . So UPSET !
I always love seeing music at the mid Florida credit Ampitheater. I had lawn tickets for this event which I normally love, however, this time around there was so many people in attendance that it took away from the entire experience. There was zero room for sitting in the lawn and barley any for standing. I walked around for most of the time and stood in the very back of the lawn as that was the only space available for trying to watch and enjoy the music. A fight broke out between four people near where we were standing, and we had to get police involved to break it up. I ended up leaving around 9:55 and missed most of Zac Brown Bands set, which was disappointing because that was the entire reason for being there. There were too many people to truly enjoy the event and I had enough.
I waited 10 years to see Zach Brown and sure enough the speakers blew out on the lawn and we couldn’t hear the music for over an hour and 15 minutes. Extremely disappointing.
Very Disappointing. I bought the tickets back in March and was looking forward to attending for months. I had lawn seats with a friend. As we settled in it became so crowded. There were un supervised children everywhere. Running around, running inbeween us. Very very rude. No parents anywhere supervising. After Zac Brown first song the power went out.........AND never came back on. There was no explanation at all. We proceeded to walk around and try and get to listen, however we were told to leave every area . This went on for an hour. We finally left before the concert ended. No apologies for no sound. We paid for the tickets and never got to hear the concert.
The lawn speaker breakers blew 3 songs into Zac Brown Bands set. We went to guest services and were thankfully relocated to where we could hear. Zac Brown Band was fantastic. Hopefully moving forward the venue will have a backup for if speakers go out.
The speakers blew out during their first song. The entire lawn section couldn't hear the music. Unfortunately it was never addressed by the band and lasted through their entire first set and well into their second one. We left shortly after the second set started. We were very sad being that we were very excited for this concert. People at the venue said we should get our money back but we are yet to hear anything about it....
During Zak Brown’s second song the speaker for my section stopped working. Couldn’t hear him singing the rest of the concert. No acknowledgement from the venue or the performer. Left early. Very disappointed since I believe something could and should have been done
Speaker on left side of stadium blew . Sound was off balance.
The concert ticket included parking, which is great. The venue was amazingly big and the lawn area was perfect. We drove to Tampa from Miami (4hrs drive) to watch the concert with our best friends. The opening act, King Calaway was great. Then Zac Brown Band was amazing. First going to their concert and it turned out to be the best decision we made! Would definitely go to another concert at that venue and also to see Zac Brown Band at any venue!
We saw Zac Brown and his band in Tampa last weekend. If you ever get the chance to see him perform…don’t miss is. Not only is he talented, his band is equally talented. The show was a mix of Country, ,a tribute to Jimmy Buffet and Rock and Roll. The Venue was wonderful on a beautiful Florida evening. Zac Brown Band is amazing. Don’t miss it!
It was awesome! Wonderful conciert is the 2° year i we t to the conciert and i going to do the same next year
Amazing performance from the band, however the entire upper part of the stadium had the speakers malfunctioning and could not hear the concert. Many people ended up playing musical chairs moving from one side of the stadium to the other where those speakers malfunctioned as well. I assume it was a great concert for those in the lower part of the stadium.
The venue was fine and bathrooms were decent. Food and drinks were over priced but we knew that in advance. Zac Brown was looking good; as usual however, he sang a lot of other peoples songs. I would’ve loved to just hear his songs with maybe one or two others from other artists mixed in. Regardless, we love Zach Brown and have seen him several times in concert. He was very good… just not great!
The speakers went out where we were in the lawn. This concert was on mine and my wife's bucket list. We had to leave before the end of the first set. The venue told me to reach out to TicketMaster for a refund, but to no avail. Even though this is not TicketMaster's fault, the fans of Zac should be entitled to a refund. We were not the only fans to leave the arena. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
