About YoungBoy Never Broke Again
YoungBoy Never Broke Again in Concert
Attending a live YoungBoy Never Broke Again show is nothing like the family-friendly sports games his former nickname - NBA YoungBoy - might signal. His rowdy onstage performances (complete with members of his entourage) are more akin to unruly, packed house parties with menacing hip-hop and catchy hooks as the playlist. In 2017, the Baton Rouge rapper went on his first multi-city tour, Numb the Pain, headlined by Atlanta rap star 21 Savage. He then bowed his first solo run on the A.I. Youngboy tour to sold-out venues filled with loyal fans. Since, he has stage-dived and crowd-surfed through the festival circuit, thrilling audiences nationwide with his lyrical reflections on his struggles and turbulent upbringing.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again Background
Long before YoungBoy Never Broke Again became one of the most exciting new rappers, he was born Kentrell Gaulden in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His traumatic childhood experiences would quickly become a hot spring for his future records, an autobiographical collection of melancholic, often violent bars that resonate deeply with his cult-like fan base. After dropping out of high school in 2015, he turned to rap full-time and self-released eight mixtapes with a Walmart-purchased mic. He packed his early music with style influences (and a few features) from fellow Baton Rouge rappers Boosie Badazz and Kevin Gates.
By 2017, YoungBoy was a fast-rising star with the breakout single “Untouchable.” He later signed to Atlantic Records and dropped his debut studio album, Until Death Call My Name. Since, he’s not only released three No. 1-debuting projects, including his 2020 album, Top, but he also became YouTube’s 2019 most-viewed artist in the U.S. His uploads aren’t the flashy clips of a predictable rich celeb, but instead, they are a transparent window into his watch-worthy lifestyle, offered at a rapid-fire pace to intrigue fans.
In his first five years, YoungBoy sharpened his performances at the 2018 Lil WeezyAna Fest and the festival circuit, including Rolling Loud. He also earned a 2019 Hip Hop Award nomination for Impact Track with "I Am Who They Say I Am," featuring Kevin Gates and Quando. He’s also collaborated with in-demand contemporaries like Lil Baby, Lil Durk and 21 Savage.
YoungBoy keeps the spotlight trained on his ascent with his energetic live shows, allowing fans to peer into his real-time mood, which swings from super-lit to stoic depending on the track. Plus, he adds a pop of fun with physical stunts that land him in the crowd among those closest to the stage. Amid his frenetic musical output, he’ll have no shortage of material to perform.

He was Litttyyyyy. Definitely would go again ! NBA has the crowd on GO
Traveled from Miami with my son, spent almost $500 on VIP meet & greet and none of the artists showed up. Performances were good but then they left! Truly messed up to take peoples money! DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THE MEET & GREET! We had the SAME exact service as General Admission. I've placed a claim with ticketmaster for my money back. Wish i could get the plane tickets, hotel, Ubers and all but we all got screwed. Thanks!
I enjoyed this concert I drove ten hrs to see youngboy and it was so worth it!!
That was one of the best concerts I’ve been to in a while. Just mad I missed Rod Wave I love him but other than that it was LITTT
The energy was great he put on a good show but good
Youngboy NBA was amazing, put on a great show. But EVERY opener was garbage, the hype men were garbage and their were too many openers in general. Made nba wait 3 hours before coming out for a 45 min preformance
Wasn't to fond of the standing room only. The local artist were whack. The 3.5 hr drive and standing for 3hrs until NBA YoungBoy came on was worth every bit!!
Youngboy only preformed 5 songs and was done. 3 1/2 hours of garbage before he came out to preform.
young boy so handsome in person love him the concert was fun it was hot but worth it.
I paid 58.13 to see NBA Youngboy and we listened to a bunch of random guys perform for 3 long hours before he came. Not only did he show up late but he stayed for about 40 minutes and when he left he gave the illusion that he was still there by playing his track but really he had left through a side door. I would give this zero stars if I could. Waste of time and money
Doors opened at 7pm had some no name rappers on stage for 3 hours the venue was packed hotter than heck no where to stand people pushing and fighting all around you. Finally after waiting for hours Nba youngboy comes out was on stage no more than 40 mins and leaves. We waited all that time for 30 minutes. I was so pissed. Seeing as how I spent 300 dollars on tickets , drove an hour and 15 mins for 30 mins. Not cool
The doors opened at 7:00. We endured 3 1/2 hours of unknown acts getting booed off the stage until YoungBoy finally showed up at 10:30. He was a great performer, but he was only on stage for 30 minutes before just walking out. Not worth it.
I took my daughter, because she is a big fan.She loved it and so did I!
It was Kool he took longer than I expected for him to get on stage and it was hot as hell in that building but once he got up there enjoyed it
His performance was amazing only wish he could perform longer. Venue was very hot. And was waiting for 3 hours for him to come out.
nba young boy has a way of driving a crowd crazy, but it was soooo not worth paying for. Basically, I realized I paid for the opening act to do karaoke and hang out on stage for 3 HOURS before nba young boy came out, and when he did come out, he barely sang or rapped at all, but let the track behind him continue to play. On top of THAT, he was only on stage for like 20 minutes. I love this dude’s music. But I don’t think I’ll ever pay to see him again.
This was the worst concert I ever went to, to the point I’m never even going back to that venue. It’s true he didn’t show up until 10. From 7-10 pm we listened to trash music from SoundCloud rappers. Worst experience ever don’t waste your money.
He did a great performance, energetic interactive with us
The venue claimed that the show started at 7pm. The artist didn’t come out until 10pm with no opening artists to entertain. Then he only performed for like 30 minutes. Unbelievable.
