They're so amazing live. If you ever get the chance, GO!
This was my first time seeing Young the Giant in concert and I have to say I was absolutely impressed. They come on stage with a ton of energy and put on the show of their life! This band loves what they do and it comes across on stage. If you're looking for a fun night out I highly recommend seeing this band in concert!
The concert was supposed to start at 9, which everyone knows that there is an opening band. I can't remember the bands name but they were terrible. Most of the crowd was booing and felt like they played too many songs for an open act. But as soon as they left at exactly 10 o'clock, Young The Giant started. It was personally the best concert I have ever been to. No one pushed to get closer to the front which was really nice (due to my experience only at The House Of Blues). Another issue I would like to discuss to weed. Kids were smoking blunts while the concert was going. Not only was the smell what made me want to leave, a young girl please asked him to stop and he refused. But other than that. Young The Giant impressed me once again. So passionate and after te concert they came out and continued with three more songs. I will be following them on their tour.
Young the Giant was incredible. They came out in a timely fashion. I love almost all of their songs, but they played the best. The way they used their lighting complimented their performance instead of coming off as egregious or effuse. Everyone in the crowd matched the band's high energy, which made for a rocking atmosphere.
This concert was truly unforgettable. Sameer really knows how to entertain; he dances and engages with the crowd and it is an amazing event. The music is obviously great. The only thing that didn't blow me away was the opener Cayucas. It just didn't get me pumped.
Had the audience jumping and feeling the beat. Awesome night. Wouldn't have wanted to spend my valentines day anywhere else.
Having never gone to a live show from Young the Giant, I didn't know what to expect -- especially for a sold out show! But I was happily blown away at how masterful they were in playing and singing just like it was coming off of the album! Combining their stage presence and the amped up crowd, it made for an electric feel that you can only get from a live show.
extremely nice. ....and fun. I kept thinking that..
This was the best live performance I've seen YTG give. It's as if they've reached a maturity level that has made them a great live act. Thoroughly enjoyed their performance and can't wait to see them again.
While Cayucas was decent, Young the Giant was incredible. Their stage presence is full if energy which feeds into the audience, their music sounds just like the record but not so much to where it sounds like they are lip/instrument synching. They play with such passion and energy you can tell they are having fun on stage. I recommend them to anybody.
Love them! They sounded great live. Cayucas were good too
Best Concert we have been to in a long time. Parking was available. We didn't have to wait long to get drinks. We didn't have to wait long to get in. Young the Giant sounded sooo awesome! They absolutely rocked!
I finally got to see Young the Giant after years of anticipation and they certainly did not disappoint. I loved the show itself, but I wasn't feeling the vibe from the other audience members. There were a lot of rude, pushy, drunk people. Which I'm use to(I've been to plenty of GA shows to know). However, it became a problem when multiple people put their hands on me in an aggressive way. On the bright side, I was pretty close to the front and once YTG came out on stage all the negativity was gone! I would say they're a 100% see-again band.
Great concert and great sound! The vocals were crisp and clear and I was able to fully hear and enjoy all of my favorite Young the Giant tunes. So happy to attend a concert where the music doesn't overwhelm the vocals. Also appreciated that Sameer Gadhia was not forever goading the audience to sing with him - I sing along if I want, but don't like when a singer insists that I join in and keeps "trying it again" when the results are not what they want.
Great band that puts on a great show. Sameer, the lead singer, has a great voice and great range.
By far one of today's best vocalist! Sameer kept bouncing back and forth on 3 mics!
Young the Giant sounded great but that was about it. I would recommend that you just stay home and listen to the album. On the upside Cayucas was great.
...just needed some variety with style, acoustic versions would have been nice. Some kind of concert treat, u know...
The energy at a Young the Giant concert is unmatched. The band puts on a great performance every time and genuinely look like they are loving every minute of it, which makes me love every minute of it. Highly recommend seeing them live. Oh and they always play an awesome setlist. They literally played all of my favorite songs. Go see them live!!
I really enjoyed the old songs and not so much of the new songs. And, they didn't play St. Walker!
