  • Great concert, great venue

    by motomo27t on 8/19/19Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing! The sound is great in the amphitheater. Outstanding performance by Young the Giant. Sameer is a great performer with a TON of energy.

  • Best intimate outdoor venue!

    by Amada_Rose on 8/19/19Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first show at the Greek theater and I was not disappointed. The doors were easy to get to after my lyft driver dropped me off in front. I was able to walk right in after passing the metal detectors which I rare in a summer concert. Usually the lines can take forever to get through. I danced all night and only sat down when I arrived. All three performers put on a great show, playing everyone's favorite songs! I was surprised at how long the show lasted considering they began earlier than anticipated.

  • Best concert yet!

by Tym on 8/19/19Downtown Las Vegas Events Center - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Everything was perfect! My husband and I got to the entry point at 8 and only waited in line for 10 min before being let into the concert! We were then able to get right up to the barrier and sit on the (very comfortable) turf and wait for the concert to start. And then it goes without saying that the bands gave amazing performances !

  • Fitz and the Tantrums

We went to see Fitz and the Tantrums. It was my 8th time to see them. They did not disappoint. Can I go see them again tomorrow?

  • Too much Bass!

    by Kiddo on 8/18/19Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 3 out of 5

Lord Huron and Young the Giant were the two concerts I attended this month at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. The opening acts were great, but the headliners ruined the experience for me with body slamming bass. I did some research on this and found that being in front of the stage and in the middle lower level has the worst sound. I ended up leaving during Young the Giant during my favorite song. I found the sound acceptable to the sides of the amphitheater. I was wearing earplugs too.

  • Wonderful Concert

Young the Giant does not disappoint! Their music is awesome and they sound even better in person! This is the third time my whole family and I watched them and we enjoyed watching them immensely! Highly recommend seeing them!

  • Such a beautiful and energetic night!

    by weatherboy on 8/18/19Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 5 out of 5

Warm during the day, comfortable at night. Oh yeah, the show... Alice Merton opened, good, enjoyable music. Fitz and Tantrums as always, put on a great show, with lots of energy as they played their hits, one after another. Very catchy tunes that stick in your head long afterwards. Young the Giant came on and Sameer, the lead singer sang and danced with so much energy and athleticism he was a show all to himself. The band harmonies are much better since we saw them last year at Oracle. Altogther, a really good performance to top off the balmy evening...

  • Best show ever

    by J. on 8/18/19Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 5 out of 5

First off, you really can’t go wrong with a show at the Greek. I unexpectedly knew 4 songs from the opening band which was sweet. Young the Giant was magical! Lead singer Sameer is pure talent. He puts everything into the show. I can’t wait to see them again!

  • Incredible show

    by Amein on 8/18/19Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 5 out of 5

Great opening lineup of Alice Merton and Fitz & Tantrums. YTG blew us all away with another amazing performance- they are one of the best pure live acts out there.

  • Amazing show!

Young the Giant put on a great show! They are excellent musicians and I love seeing them in concert. I was equally as wowed by Fitz and the Tantrums. Their set was amazing!

  • Awesome

by j on 8/17/19Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show. Fitz killed it and young the giant was better than i expected. The venue at gsr is also really nice. It's a smaller venue so even seats in the back aren't bad.

  • Exceeded expectations

by Carothers on 8/17/19Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

They sound the same as they do live then on there albums. Stage presence was there threw the whole show. Great set list. Will definitely have to see them again when I can.

  • FITZ!

by Justin on 8/17/19Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

This 5 star review is solely for Fitz and the Tantrums... they were seriously one of the best bands I’ve ever seen live. Young the Giant however were awful, we left about 6 songs in.

  • Young the Giant // Fitz and the Tantrums: AZ 2019

by Chels on 8/16/19Comerica Theatre - PhoenixRating: 4 out of 5

My friend and I were lucky enough to receive $55 tickets each for GA seats! We got in line for security at 5:45 and the doors finally opened at 6, which is when security check began. The line was very short and the line for GA access took only about 10 min (to get wristbands). Everything went very smoothly, although my friend and I can both agree that the staff/security/ticket or wristband checkers can have a better communication system with the customers. While in line to enter the theater, my friend and I split. I left to stay in line for merch and she stayed in the theater line. When she entered to go down to the pit, the security person made her wait. She thought he stopped her because he needed her to show our tickets, which I had. She texted me while I was in line for merch, so I had to leave the line when I was so close. When I arrived, I showed him our tickets and he said "No, I only need to see your wristbands". My friend already had her wristband, therefore she could've gone through and saved us a better spot in the pit. Instead, he made her to do some unnecessary waiting, ruined our chance for merch, and jeopardized our pit spots. All of this, because of the lack of communication. However, we finally got into the pit and still were very close to the stage. Later into the concert, we got to second row from the stage in the pit!

  • The best!

Young the giant knows how to put on a show. It was amazing watching them live! Made me love the band even more.

Only stayed until Fitz and the Tantrums were done since they are what we went there to see. Great show and never took their foot off of the gas!
