  • An Excellent Time

    by Dan101 on 2/24/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

The group was very entertaining. They did almost all of the Beatles songs and did so in a way to make one flash back to the 60's, when the Beatles would blow you away with their music. Their harmony was fantastic When they were not actually playing songs, I found them quite humorous and kept the audience glued to their every move.

  • Great show

My friend and I enjoyed the music and show of "Yesterday" and yes we would recommend it to a friend.

  • Yesterday put on a very enjoyable show!

by rpassaro on 2/18/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

If you are in Atlantic City be sure to go see the band Yesterday at the Tropicana. The venue is very small and perfect for an intimate setting. Enjoy!

  • Yesterday was as close to real as it gets!

by heavygtp on 2/17/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

The band looked and sounded like the Beatles. They were entertaining and solid musicians. Well worth the prive of admission.

  • Fantastic for an old Beatle fan

    by Patsyp77 on 2/15/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Since I can remember their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show I was amazed at how accurate this presentation was. It was like going back in time. The band played the music exactly as the Beatles performed. Iw as amazed. All four lads were outstanding. A great show.

  • like the real thing..great cover band!!

    by honey31CharlesTown on 2/12/10Tropicana - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

The members of the band were very convincing with the look the costumes the guitars drums and sound. If I didn't know better...I would say they were the real deal as far as show and sound goes.. They are as close as I'll ever get to the real thing.

  • A splendid time!

My husband and I really enjoyed the performance of Yesterday! We went on a Monday night, so the theater was literally next to empty- just about 20 people or so, so we had front row seats. When you see a tribute band, you have to get into the spirit of fun- and we did! We also appreciated that the bandmembers were very good musicians, very well rehearsed, and seemed to really be having a good time in spite of the small crowd. They played all the old faves, mostly upbeat numbers, which was a good thing. They bantered a bit between songs but pretty much stuck to churning out the hits one after another! It also gave us new appreciation- I mean, it's one thing to play your own songs, if you screw up no one really knows- but of course we knew every word and note of these songs so it took real talent and attention to detail to pull it off! The best one was actually Ringo in terms of Beatlesque vocals, although John was the only one who actually bore any physical resemblance. We were dancing at the end, just having a good time. All in all, very much worth the price. Incidentally, if you have a young Beatle fan (as I do) at home, there is no age restriction on the show. I hope to return with my 12 year old daughter, she will just love it!

  • Yesterday was great

A very talented foursome that had a resemblence in appearance to the Beatles and recreated their songs with great similarity to the original. Of course they are not the Beatles, but they reminded those of us who knew of the Beatles of their music. For those who nevery saw the Beatles, it was a great reproduction. The background filmclips were also a nice touch.

Loving Beatles music from the time of the British Invasion I went hopeful that the Yesterday group could perform the Beatles music the way I remembered. It was. The band was dressed in the same clothes as the Beatles had worn when they performed, the musical instruments were actual reproductions and the music was great. The band had the entire audience singing and even dancing in the isles. I would not only recommend it to others, I will be going back to hear them again. Thanks for bringing their music alive again.

The show was great!!!!!!! Anyone who remembers the Beatles or just their music will truly enjoy seeing this tribute. The guys have the voices and moments of the Beatles down pat and they can really sing. The stage makes you feel like you are really in Liverpool.

  • It could have been the Beatles!!

by thehiggman on 1/20/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Just a great show. The 'lads' looked and played the parts. The music was authentic and we sung along to every song. They played for almost 1.5 hours and the show was more than worth the price of admission. The group played early Beatles dressed in the suits and then a change into the Shea Stadium outfits.

I liked the small room and the music was fine - worth the $25.00

  • Disappointing

by BarbaraF on 1/2/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 2 out of 5

We have seen other Beatles Tribute shows and by far this is the worse. Bealtlemania is the best and Yesterday is the worse. The Yesterday show was short and only played songs from the early Beatles and there was a short list of songs. The Ringo character only sang two songs and the George character had one song that was not released. Even other Beatle tribute bands, excluding Beatlemania, were much superior. There were none of the Eastern influence songs, the issue songs, and not one psychedelic/Sgts Peppers era song. Save your money. The band came out with the traditional black suits then had a costume change into their light brown suits. There was no psychedelic apparel. If you have heard another Beatles tribute bands you will be utterly disappointed. You might even walk out of the performance. The Tropicana Casino venue was small and cramped. There were no tables or table service. We think the Tropicana was maybe trying to recreate the Cavern Club in Hamburg. If the Tropicana was trying to recreate the Cavern Club then the Tropicana failed. They did not have drinks available to be purchased especially at midnight on New Year's Eve. The show and the venue were poor.

The music was verry good, but the show was not held in the Showroom and was very short.

  • Yesterday was awesome!

It was really fun, and as close to seeing the Beatles as you can get
