Excellent show! We brought our 18 year old grandson and we all had a blast!
Absolutely one of the best shows I have ever seen! If you like the Beatles, you will love this show!
I went to this with some friends who had tickets as a night out. I said to my wife before I left "Im sure it will be good but a Beatles tribute band is a Beatles Tribute Band". NOT SO! The work these guys put in to this and their love of the music is evident. The way they laid out the show was great. And I have very rarely seen people so professional at getting the crowd involved. Well worth the ticket. I would have gone back the next night had I not had plans. I highly recommend this show.
Great show....music was fantastic....the group brought the crowd into the show. The leader interacted with members of the audience .....
The concert was very intimate, we had an awesome time!
It was a excellent show. Did alot of the Beatles Songs
Music was outstanding, abilities wonderful, fantastic experience.
I thought the group was talented. Their strong points were in the playing of the music instrumentation as well as the vocal harmonies. The detractions were that the drummer's drums did not have the sound of Ringo's drums and his fills were more in the tradition of a current day drummer especially his rolls which while good, did not fit the sound of the Beatles' songs. With Ringo less was often more and his being a left handed drummer playing right handed caused him to have a different approach to fills. Also John's edgy voice was missing on his songs. The only bad song to my way of thinking was Yellow Submarine and the chorus of No Reply sounded very different. That being said, the second half of the show was much better than the first which had too much focus on audience picks. The last half of the show rocked pretty good.
Do not even think twice about purchasing tickets to see this show if it comes to your area. The band is so incredibly talented and the show is so heartfelt. There were points in the show where I was crying, laughing, outright screaming, jumping out of my seat to dance. What an amazing amazing amazing show and idea for a show. These brothers know how to do it.
The energy of the crowd at Y&T was great. However, the accoustics of the venue we were at (Harrah's) were not so great. Also, the chairs at Harrah's were jam packed together, making for an uncomfortable (physically AND psychologically) seating experience. You got to know the person next to you QUITE well. As for the band, I was a bit disappointed as I was hoping they would be impersonators, which they are not, but cute boys never the less. I think it was fabulous that the crowd could request songs before the show (although I was not aware of this at the time, and only a few people's song requests were chosen). The band only played for about 1 hr 15 minutes, and I would have loved to see them longer than that. I will be returning to this show, however, as it WAS a lot of fun.
The McGuigan brothers are an incredibly talented group of guys! I would recommend this all ages show for couples and/or girls night out. Absolutely incredible and a must-see for Beatles fans.
This band was alot of fun, mingled with the audience alot, made it alot more personal! These kids did a great job in honor of the Beatles!
The Yesterday and Today interactive Beatles show had something for everyone! The people in our group crossed 3 generations and everyone enjoyed the show. The older folks enjoyed the "rockabilly" type Beatles music, the folks in the middle enjoyed the moodier music of the later Beatles, and the younger folks enjoyed the high energy of the performers. Ultimately I would say the performers set the mood, reminding us that we were responsible for the play list but in reality the band put the fun and excitement into the show. If we are lucky enough to see this show again I'm going to dig for some obscure Beatles music to request!
This was a group of talented young men who were "audience pleasers"! We decided to visit Aurora and chose this event at the Paramount Theatre. The greeters, ushers, valet people--everyone were inviting and friendly! It was a great evening!!!
