With the release of her 1992 self-titled solo debut, Wynonna emerged as a singular force in American music. Beyond the five Grammy Awards, the multi-platinum albums and sold-out tours, the country/soul vocalist built on the Appalachian traditionalism that defined The Judds to create a world where Top 5 dance/club hits were as possible as being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Having practically grown up as America's favorite musical daughter, Wynonna matured into a woman who embraced how life is filled with peaks and valleys, great thrills, and heavy disappointment. Those realities informed her 5-times platinum Wynonna and nearing 3-times platinum Tell Me Why, the albums that gave voice to every human being emerging into their own adulthood with joy in their heart.
Beyond the groundbreaking music she and her mother created as The Judds, Wynonna has grown into her once-in-a-generation vocal prowess with an ease that made people clamor to her. "No One Else On Earth," "Tell Me Why," "She Is His Only Need," "Girls With Guitars," and "I Saw The Light" set the next chapter in motion of for the girl from Ashland, Kentucky who became a global superstar.

Wynonna has one of the most amazing voices ever. I would go to her concerts over and over again. This was the second time seeing her and it was even better than the first time. Not only is her voice unbelievable, she seems like a genuinely nice person too.
Through recent TV and talk interviews, Wynonna expressed this tour would be concentrating more on her voice and acoustics. I cannot express enough how much fun this show was for me. Her singing moves my soul. I laughed out loud several times from her comments and life stories. This was up close and personal for Wynonna. It has given me a greater appreciation for her and her husband's, including the band, great gifts as artists. I was amazed at the instrumental playing for all 4 artists on stage. I cannot wait until her next album comes out. I did not want the concert to end. It has to be one of the best concerts ever, I have attended. I would hope to hear her in concert again!
Wynonna keeps getting better and better....so glad she is still out there sharing her talent with all of us....I will definitely see her when she comes my way again.....and there really is no bad seat in the house.
Spirited, groovy, grrr-ly, beautiful, affecting, gracious, fun, funky, etc., etc., etc. Wynonna was stunning Saturday night. She walked out onto the stage with no introduction. Everyone in the crowd went crazy with screams and applause. I, along with many other fans, stood immediately to welcome her. She confidently waited for the crowd to calm before letting loose of her golden vocals. Her voice filled the hall. Being back in her presence, to me, was awe-inspiring, emotional, and rejuvenating. During her show I was affected in every way. Thank you Wy for zapping me again. You touched me deep, just like always. What a show. What a presence. What a woman!
Wynonna's husband was right--a couple of guitars, a bass, and a drummer is all she needs to give a great show. That voice, that voice, it never misses, and her humor and the grace she exhibits with the audience makes you want the concert to go on forever. My daughter and I had such a good time traveling the road she leads you down with her songs and her stories. Great show as always Wynonna--you are fabulous!!!
loved the show! very personable she has fun and talks with the crowd. would love to see her again.
My husband and I went to the Star Plaza show and were so very pleased with Wynona and her band. Her opening act - Josie - is going to be a big star one day!! We loved her! Wynona was so very intimate with the crowd in her stories and "chatting" back and forth. Song choice was great in that we heard some of her most famous hits and she sounded amazing!
I HAVE SEEN WYNONNA 5 TIMES NOW. BIG OVER THE TOP SHOWS AND SMALL, AND MAY I SAY THIS WAS THE VERY BEST OF ALL! IT SEEMED MORE PERSONAL AND SPECIAL TO BOTH HER AND THE AUDIENCE
I try to see Wynonna as much as I can, but it isn't always possible. She just happened to be in town when I was visiting my pregnant daughter in North Carolina. We jumped at the chance, and are we ever glad we did! The show was different than any other one, because of its smaller venue and highly personal style. We totally felt connected to Wynonna, Cactus and their "friends" during the entire performance. Less IS more. A big show with all the bells and whistles isn't needed when you have the BIG voice of Wynonna. Her voice extends above all others and I just go to "heaven" when I hear it. Wynonna, you are my HERO!!! I'm not your "stalker" fan that participated in your show by actually singing, but I love you just as much!! I even paid for a personal meet & greet show in Oakland, CA for the Final Tour in 2010 and met you both (Naomi as well). It was an unforgettable experience which I shall never forget. I will go see Wynonna's shows as long as I live!!!! Love her!!!!
Well worth the two and a half hour drive. Wynonna,s still got it!!
Wynona and band were fantastic! The venue was a great place to see this group.
Enjoyed that it was just she and her guitar for a good portion of the concert.
Wynonna was Fabulous in her Sparkles and Spankx. I was offered 2 Complimentary tickets and of course I took yall up on the offer. I invited my 15 year old nephew. He invited a 15 year old girl. Needless to say, this was his FIRST DATE!!! They enjoyed the Concert toooooooo!!! Wynonna really is a talented performer. I love her music!!!
We felt like we hung out with old friends and watched them jam! She is so down to earth... very engaging to the audience and sounded wonderful! Would highly recommend seeing Wynonna & Friends. Wonderful evening!
Outstanding concert! She was so personable, so funny, so open, and in such fine voice. Her small band was terrific, in a cozy setting. Band included her husband, Cactus Moser on drums and stringed instruments. She told lots of stories between songs, often about growing up and her history with her mom and sister Ashley. Once she and her band got so tickled she had to skip a song and come back to it later. It was one of the most enjoyable concerts I've attended in years.
I've been a longtime fan, so I hope my review does not come across disrespectful. I've wanted to see Wynonna in concert for years now, so I was really looking forward to the show. I will say the venue was very nice, the stage set up intimately and really made you feel up close and personal. The concert itself was not up close and personal. While Wynonna has an amazing voice, the song selection was poor. She sang only a few hits and the rest were cover songs that no one had ever heard of. She may have sang for an hour tops. She started to sing Grandpa and couldn't stop laughing. She eventually just had to stop and come back to it. On another song she messed up and forgot the words twice. I have no idea how you forget the words to your own song that you've been singing for 20+ years, but she did. As far as the title of the show being labeled Stories & Songs, its very misleading. I guess I was under the impression it was to be more about her life in country music and the stories behind the hits. However it consisted of taking several jabs at her mother, and conversations between her husband and the two other band members. In a whole she came across as a negative person with a woe is me attitude. For the life of me I don't understand why. Shes had an amazing career, still has a wonderful voice and adoring fans. What could possibly be so wrong? If so, leave it at the door. When I go to work I’m expected to leave my problems at home, I feel she should have as well. Rarely did she look at the audience instead she looked up, and more than once did she say that she was nervous. After 30 years in the business and you're still nervous. Maybe all of this could have been overlooked if she would have came out on stage and sang the songs people came to hear. The songs that put her on the stage to begin with.
Will not disappoint. Incredible show. Fun to see without a full band. Gives you a chance to see her raw talent. Incredible.
Loved Wynonna! She has a great voice and was very entertaining. She's funny also. The intimate setting (small crowd) was perfect!
Simply one of the best concerts I've ever attended. Intimate setting and wonderful rapport with the audience. Wynonna's voice was pitch perfect and her band was tight. Would love to see it again!,
