World Ballet Company: Nutcracker Tickets

The show is top notch, but it would be really appreciated if people could be seated before the show starts, we were like 5-7 minutes into the show and people talking loud, walking in front, getting food or drinks, it doesn't allow others to enjoy the full experience.

Saw the World Ballet's production of The Nutcracker last weekend and thought the choreography, the costumes and the dancing were exceptional. But I must say I was disappointed with the interpretation of the production. I have taken my granddaughter and daughter to see The Nutcracker every year for the past 10 years and this version left us feeling shortchanged. There was no Sugar Plum Fairy number. The rats were so horrible looking and why did a rat come out at the opening house party? That was very strange The individual dances from the various countries were short and not as long as seen in the past. Plus I missed a live orchestra.

Nice Ballet play. Rude lady staffmember must not like her job. She seemed annoyed for no reason. Unfortunately i did not get her name. This lady was standing there to guide guest to their seats. Overall not satisfied with the seating view. I have been to many plays did not like my experience here at this theather. I paid a nice amount for this show would have like to have had a better experience. Large group next to me with people talking while the play was going on. Alot of people moving around during the play. Felt very disorganized.

Greatest show, best experience ever. Wonderful tradition for my daughter and I to continue with year after year.

I have seen this company perform this ballet in the past and it was excellent. This show had mediocre dancers, poor taste in costumes, and was missing favorite parts. The Russian dancers didn’t do the Russian dance and I never could figure out if the snow queen was in it or not (there was some princess looking girl in a gold tutu that might have been her, but in gold?). I spent quite a bit of money getting good seats because this was my eight-year-old‘s first time seeing the Nutcracker. He, like I, was underwhelmed. Just sad. I’m sure the Dancers worked very hard, I just think the price of the tickets warrants higher expectations. It felt similar to a dance recital.

A few strong dancers but overall a bit lackluster.

I have been to other performances of the nutcracker and this one was very average. The costumes were not as extravagant and the staging nothing real spectacular. Venue was very crowded and hot. Probably won’t choose this production again.

For a Nutcracker performance without a live orchestra- You had to really focus on the talents of each dancer, their costumes, set design, choreography and storyline. It excelled on ALL of those levels! BRAVO! 🎼 💃
