Of course I know who Carrie is, and have admired her on-screen for many years. But little did I know I would also get treated to just how brilliant she is off-the-cuff. Even though this is somewhat scripted show, she proved that she can do impromptu brilliance just like the best of them. I was not only entertained with some "Hollywood" history but also was schooled on what not-to-do with her life-lessons. The only negative thing I can say is because there is so much material for her to chose from, each show can potentially be as different as those memories permit. There's just solution for this - to see her more than once!
She was absolutely amazing--the use of multi-media, and her constant humor was really, really wonderful.
Carrie Fisher made you feel right at home in her living room. She is a great entertainer and the evening flew by. I may go again.
Carrie Fisher has so much talent for writing that I was a little worried about her onstage performance. No worries needed, she did a fabulous job with her onstage performance! Her self-deprecating humor was well done, you never felt sorry for her or feel uncomfortable when hearing the tough times she went through. She remained very matter of fact, "This is my life, and yes, it is amusing." It is refreshing for someone from Hollywood to be as open and direct as her, without accusing or blaming anyone for her situation.
