Jackson imitator sang well but didn't dance that well or very much. Started 45 minutes late too, which was frustrating.

  • VERY entertaining

I took my niece to see this show, we had an excellent time. The show was a very professional, high-energy, entertaining, enjoyable experience that was well worth the 2-hour drive. We would love to go again and would highly recommend it to others. The meet & greet afterward showed that these excellent entertainers appreciate their audience. Looking back, I don't recall seeing any moonwalk -- which I would have loved, but evidently I was having too much fun to notice.

  • Show was awesome!

Loved the show!! My boyfriend is the ultimate Michael Jackson fan, so I figured why not take him to this show. It was awesome!! Better than we expected. We definitely enjoyed the joy.

Very disappointed. Had seen video clips which looked to be quite good, but the actual performance was not!

The lead singer was fantastic!!! Also, the trumpet player, WOW, his enthusiasm is contagious, right along with the saxaphone player. It was a fun experience.

  • Who's Bad was awesome as usual

8th time seeing this tribute band, an although this time we did not have Taalib the lead singer, JoeBel did a great job and performed songs I've never heard the band do before. I missed Taalib's spot on dancing and performances of Jam and Smooth Criminal, but loved JoBel's Come Together, Dirty Diana, and She's Out of My Life. Aaron on sax, and Ray on Trumpet were high energy and always fun to watch.

  • Who's Bad was exceptional & super fun.

Well, they asked the right question. Who's Bad? These guys. It's an overly loud, largely pre-recorded presentation that tends to drown out the voices. One Michael Jackson imitator is an incredible dancer and has the moves down; the other is a bit creepy and not so good. We left about 30 minutes into the performance, and even the security guards commented as we left that the whole thing was pretty amateurish. We were done when they invited people to join them on-stage and dance, and the crowd up there looked like a bunch of adults with arrested development issues - along with a few small children - gyrating poorly and out-of-synch to the music. If you enjoy good music and dance, live concerts, and professional performances, then you really need to avoid this one. The $35 top ticket price should have been a dead give-away.

Very entertaining. Loved it! The music and choreography was outstanding and the entertainers put everything they had into it. The enthusiasm they exhibited was greatly appreciated. I would see them again.

  • The worst tribute Band I've ever witnessed EVER!!!

    by Mitch1015 on 5/3/16Dow Event Center - SaginawRating: 1 out of 5

First off we purchase the medium priced tickets and when we entered the Dow Event Center the sales were so low we were ushered into an area where we once attended a wedding. Since I had seen MJ on his BAD tour I wasn't going to try and compare the two and knew I was just there for a little entertainment. The first song and he danced and was wearing an ill fitting wig that looked like horrible and his singing was pretty bad. But the next song I thought now this is really good. But then I started looking around and when you see that there are only 5 male members of the band and NO female backup singers voices it finally dawned on me he was lip syncing a Michael Jackson song that had female backup singers.. Well folks, that all it took for me to pack up and walk out. What a joke! Waste your money and time if you'd like but if you're wanting to watch a dude wear bad wings and lip sync music be my guest. I don't know if others caught on as the show progressed and walked out. I've seen better signing of MJ's songs at a karaoke bar.

6th time seeing them and this was by far one of the best! Incredible energy from the two lead singers (Taalib and Jobel)... but as always Aaron on Sax and Ray on trumpet were the stars of the show!

  • Ordinary, not extgraordinary

by Seashell31 on 4/26/16Cone Denim Entertainment Center - GREENSBORORating: 3 out of 5

The highlight of the entire show was a surprise performance by a previous "Who's Bad" guitarist who performed a mini-tribute set to Prince. He was absolutely amazing.... completely stole the show with his perfect Prince vocals and spot on guitar shreds! The 2 "Michael's" & horn section guys in Who's Bad were entertaining, but the other band members had zero showmanship & energy. We were expecting better costumes, tight choreography and exciting showmanship and didn't receive that. The worse part, the show didn't start until 10:30pm... had it started promptly, it might have been better received by the weary audience who waited and waited for 2 hours. Who's Bad was more like a disappointing bar band, not a professional tribute band. Not a bad show, but not great either. The "Prince" singer was almost worth the ticket!

First I would like to say that I've been a fan of MJ for as long as i could talk. The first movie i got as a child was moon walker, and i was really hurt when i heard MJ passed.Eventho something in me feels like he just left and went to mars. I was really excited to see the show in February this year but when me and my party get to the door we learned that the show was canceled until April. Ugh the pain, i was very upset because we came from out of town and the whole night was sposed to be a special night for me and my family, the first time ever hanging. But we went in April got there at 9 when it said the show would start. The Impersonater didn't take the stage till 11pm. They did alot of prince songs due to his death. I was really hoping they would change costumes to match the songs, but the only changed about two times. The singing was good and the energy was great but a lot of songs were left out and one of the impersonater looked more like prince than MJ. Overall the band was good, and the actors really had good spirits the whole night. There were only a few things i would change about the show to make it the ultimate tour, but if you truly love Mj, you will like the show because his music will make you become a part of the show.

The performance was lacking in so many ways. Luckily I was with good friends and we were able to have fun with the music and the crowd. The musicians were very talented and the horn section makes the show, if not for them, we might have walked out on the performance and not wasted our time. For starters the headset used by one of the Michael was not functional, for the first several songs you could not even hear him. The other Michael could barely sing and my daughter has better Michael Jackson moves then him, it didn't look like he was putting much effort into the performance, not sure if he was ill???? The other Michael was a much better dancer however when they had several audience member come up on stage there was someone in the crowd that could have headlined the show. Very disappointing with all the talent out there!

this group is a parody of Michael and his legacy. I dont understand why they get booked.

I have had the honor of seeing Michael live 3 times in his life & was impressed with Who's Bad. They do a good job honoring Michael.

  • by Anonymous on 3/1/16Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

It wasn't bad. I don't know if their sound manager was having an off day or what but the bass and instruments were way to loud. You really couldn't hear the singer's, the dancing wasn't bad though.

by Anonymous on 3/1/16Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 2 out of 5

The band played well, and the dual singers were decent, but the production was poor. This is a bar band that happened to be playing at a concert venue. The back up dancers were not good, multiple technical difficulties to the point where the show was stopped for 5 minutes, and the sound mixing was awful. You couldn't hear the vocals and it wasn't until half way through a song you could finally figure out what song was being played. It's worth seeing but don't pay more than $10 a ticket.
