Extremely terrible terrible writing! After intermission, I thought I was at a different show. The story just didnt flow well.
The show was incredibly entertaining, with a perfect blend of humor and heart. It had a great way of using comedy to highlight everyday situations, making it relatable and easy to connect with. What stood out was how it seamlessly wove in deeper messages about trusting God and finding faith in the little moments of daily life. It offered some insightful reflections on how to navigate challenges and uncertainties with grace. Overall, the humor kept the mood light, but the underlying message left a lasting impact. Definitely worth watching for both a good laugh and a bit of inspiration.
It makes sense because we tend to settle with anyone just so that we are not alone. Then others hide their mistakes for years and others who helped them make matters worse when they think they only hurt one person but several people deal with the hurt. Be mindful when dealing with love
The play was awesome. The audio had good quality and the singing was great, just a great overall experience .
The show restarted three times before the sound was corrected.
The play had nothing to do with the title! 3 attempts to start due to mic issues (what happened to sound check prior too). It appears they added Hatti to sell tickets because everyone loves her! Very disappointed
Technical issues with the sound system delayed the start and interrupted the play after it first started. Still, some of the voices did not come through clearly throughout. The title of the play did not fit the content, even though the moral of the story was good. The actors/actresses were good. The play was entertaining and they engaged the audience. did not feel it was worth the price paid for admission.
It was a terrible show. First it started almost an hour late. The sound system wasn't working properly and they stage people weren't working the curtains correctly. I wouldn't see another show at this venue.
Patrice Lovely was super funny and was able to handle the technical difficulties. Seems like they missed sound check and the lighting was missing the mark. Not a huge deal, but distracting. Storyline a little all over the place and certain advertised guest did not show up and it wasn't announced at beginning of show. Terrell Philips was not there from Blackstreet. But all the singing was amazing.
Great play, with great Actors and actresses . It was well worth it
Audio was terrible. The show was not well put together. I left during the intermittent or after the first half. I didn't like the show because of the many hiccups during the first half of the show. Again, It was a terrible first half of the show.
The technical difficulties were a bit much. Set the tone for the evening. Not to mention that they cut the first scene out completely after several efforts to redeem themselves.
Good things were the comedy, show started timely, and bartender served great drinks. Negative things were too much singing, this made the show too long, and the title does not match the actions of the play. It was just ok for me.
The play started late. The technology was malfunctioning, so they had close the curtains again to fix it. The actors were good. I especially enjoyed the singing. They also need to add at least two more scenes/background. A building background was used for a prison scene, a mother and daughter confrontation scene,, and a net my daughter scene, which was cheap and confusing.
I usually enjoy this type of entertainment. However, I realize unexpected happens that can cause problems. My disappointment is how no one but Hattie was willing to address the lateness of the play, the irritation of the loud repetitive loud music and cutting out of scenes to make up for the delay in performance. Also, the tactical difficulties was the most disappoint. Hopefully, the 7:30 pm audience received a better performance.
Everything should have been checked out way before the show. The technical issues really made the play bad. Other than those issues, it was just okay to me.
Great Play! We really enjoyed it! All actors were very good. Definitely keeps your attention and leaves you wanting more!!!
Wonderful singing, emotional acting and overall great experience.
For me, it took too long for the play to come together. It also started off poorly with bad mics and spot light operation. Patrice Lovely was great, as well as, the singing. Enjoyed Lenny Williams.
After the sound system was fixed it was another great experience. Some patrons were not in correct seats which made it irritating when flash light from staff shined in eyes.
