  • Good but!?!?

by Chill on 4/9/24Arie Crown Theater - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

They turned it into a church service, they could’ve sung other stuff besides gospel!

  • My Mom Love it

by Melody on 4/9/24Arie Crown Theater - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Ii like it but my mom really love it because it had alittle church in it I thgt it was funny but the title really didn't fit the play

  • No plot

by Golden 50 on 4/9/24Arie Crown Theater - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

This play was all over the place. The storyline was developed. The characters weren’t established. The music was in sync with events. I was very disappointed.

  • When a women Fed Up

by Biggechief on 4/9/24Arie Crown Theater - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was excellent and gave me chills when many of them sang songs. My goodness, a must see show. Also it was real life events with men and women but also so funny. I will say I don't like the Arie Crown, the seats need updated (too small) and if people are late they should not be allowed them to come in and disturb the show. So many people were late and interrupted the show.

  • The play

by Trina on 4/9/24Arie Crown Theater - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

I thought the play was ok a little low budget, I don’t like the fact that I paid over $300 for tickets and two weeks later they went down to $79 a piece I felt I was due a refund

  • Funny

by Tonia on 4/9/24Arie Crown Theater - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

  • It was ok

by Cheryl on 4/9/24Arie Crown Theater - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The play was ok, although it wasn't what I expected, I thought this was going to be something funny. It was more spiritual than anything. I cried more than laugh, but I love me some Ms Hiddy! That's why I came.

  • It was something to do. Okay

by Bosslady on 4/9/24Arie Crown Theater - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

The title was deceiving. It was forgiving contrary to fed up.

  • Favorite Parts of the Play - Chicago

by Ruby on 4/8/24Rating: 4 out of 5

I like how the play covered the arc of relationships. It showed the anger/trauma that children have due to feeling abandoned by their parents in various ways. It also showed how relationships can be reconciled, which is an important lesson for all of us. It was great to hear some of the iconic gospel songs from Black culture such as Near the Cross (one of my favorites). All of the singers’ voices were powerful and very beautiful! It was great to see Jennifer Holiday in the play. When the two characters sang in the midst of deep hurt, it showed the resilience that is deep and wide in the Black community. It was great to meet Karon Riley after the play. He was gracious, and I appreciate his entrepreneurial efforts.

  • No plot, No setting

by JazzyFaye on 3/12/24Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I personally didn't enjoy the play, I wouldn't say it was terrible, but it definitely wasn't good either. No plot, no setting, the play was all over the place. The play was super long and only had one good part.
