My first time at W&S as an alternative to 19 consecutive US Opens and one trip to BNP Paribas Indian Wells. A great event overall but just a bit difficult to figure out who was playing where when play resumed after a 4 hour day session rain delay! The on site status boards were not updated fast enough to show changes to scheduled matches and courts. Hoping to come back again next year đžđ
I keep returning to this tournament because it's a GREAT tennis experience, the venue is user-friendly, the personnel are extremely helpful and cheerful, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. It's the. most up-close-and-personal venue I've been to. I'll continue coming back in the years ahead.
Arrived Sunday-FundayâŚ.absolute blast! Practice courts jam packed & able to see Tsitsipas, Korda, Zverev, Halep, Kvitova, Murray, Isner, Rublev. Same thing on TuesdayâŚkudos to the grounds crew worked relentlessly to keep courts dry. Would love to have charging tent back. The hookups near food court didnt work. Would love to have access to a paid lockerâŚneeded to change x3 due to weather. FANTASTIC selection of food & drink!! Maybe also have rain ponchos scattered around more areas. We got stuck under the bar tent Court #16 & she could have sold about 30 ponchos!!
We had a great time at our first visit to the Western & Southern Open. Everything was easy about it--the parking, the entry, finding our seats. Our seats were wonderful. The venue feels intimate and there's probably not a bad seat in the house. We would definitely go back.
Session #3 is not a good selection for tennis fans. There is no action on the outer courts. There were only 2 center court matches. It was very disappointing to attend but it was very educational in that I learned why there is a difference in price between day and evening sessions. On balance, I am glad I went after two years absence from these matches, but I will not go again. I will attend the day sessions during the following week.
Great to be back at the Western & Southern Open this year. It was better than ever
I have been coming to the western southern open for more than 20 years and this year was not the enjoyable experience I have had in the past. The cashless feature was disappointing and made it difficult for my family to go to separate areas at times due to the need to have a credit card with each person. There were not paper copies of match schedules and practice schedules as an option. I felt like I was on my device all day to look up schedules, tickets, etc. Disappointing experience.
