My daughter and I saw the show and we loved it soooo much. We wanted to see it again and saw the show moved on to Canada. All the actors were very talented. I would see it again.

  • We Will Rock You Will Rock You!!!

by sheltylady on 5/4/14Shubert Theater - New HavenRating: 5 out of 5

What a show! Although the band was a bit loud the singers had wonderful voices as did the entire troupe of singers and dancers--- songs never forgotten by anyone! The digital generated background was different and fit the show perfectly! Only part I did not enjoy were the bright lights going off and on into the audience; they were a bit blinding especially for those of us with glasses. It was fun to be able to be a part of the show by singing songs like We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust! It was easy to follow the story line and the characters. We thoroughly enjoyed this show!

  • Going to Broadway for sure!

by Lamallady on 5/1/14Shubert Theater - New HavenRating: 4 out of 5

I saw the show originally in Philadelphia, January 2014. I loved it so much I purchased tickets for the New Haven show. There was a problem with the sound system, I thought. Way too loud in the first act, and way too much treble. Seemed to improve in the 2nd act. Performances were very good.

The show was great and so were the performers. I love Queen so this was a wonderful show to see. I have seen this show before in England and thought that this performance was just as good. I would recommend going to see this show.

We will Rock You was awesome! I'm still singing all the Queen songs. Costumes, scenery, voices were all outstanding. I want to see it again and hope it comes to Broadway!

  • QUEEN ROCKED!!!!

by Katdee on 4/30/14Shubert Theater - New HavenRating: 5 out of 5

I was transported by the fantasy and totally carried away by the familiar but still amazing music. The Bohemian Rhapsody was an EXPERIENCE!!! Guess I liked it, huh?

  • We Will Rock You ...... WOW!

    by marjoe66 on 4/30/14Shubert Theater - New HavenRating: 5 out of 5

We love Queen so, even though we knew nothing about this show, we were ready to love it. Well we did love it and so did everyone else in the audience! It was so much fun. The music, the lighting, the scenery, the costumes, the singing, dancing, acting, the enthusiasm of the talented tireless adorable cast....oh! The involvement of the audience! Again, so much fun! We are youngish senior citizens, but the audience ranged in age from 10 to 80 and everyone was up on their feet singing and cheering by the finale. And the surprise at the end.... fabulous! Love love loved it. BRAVO!

  • Broadway so close to home? Awesome!

by JazzyCat on 4/30/14Shubert Theater - New HavenRating: 5 out of 5

Best show I have seen anywhere in years. The band was a show on it's own.

  • Beyond expectations!

We didn't think much going into this production, but WOW, what a great time! Really timely storyline, emotionally impacting, the music was played to perfection, and a fun set.

  • We Will Rock You-Not!

by WhoTwo on 4/29/14Shubert Theater - New HavenRating: 1 out of 5

This musical has a terrible plot line. Although the performers were excellent, they just couldn't make up for the lack of an intelligent script. The costumes were awful and the dance routines looked like something from a kids' dance recital.

  • We Will Rock You Will Bore You.

by ShuBrewi on 4/29/14Shubert Theater - New HavenRating: 1 out of 5

We were expecting some type of story about the rock group Queen. What we saw had absolutely nothing to do with the band. Not so bad, but the producers decided, I guess, to create their own stories that reference some Queen songs (and just about everyone who has ever been in the music business), and set it in some sci-fi, futuristic capsule that had something to do with an internet company called Globalsoft (Microsoft?!). It wasn't clever, it was confusng and silly. What's more, the dialogue was dreadful, the acting bordered on ham, the non-Queen songs were hokey, the sets were cheesy...and the list goes on. The two lead singers have good voices and were wasted on this show. We were embarrassed for everyone involved in the whole production and left at intermission. I don't think we missed anything. And they did do the Bohemian Rhapsody after all.

  • different concept and entertaining.

    by PMAT14 on 4/29/14Shubert Theater - New HavenRating: 4 out of 5

I really liked all the musical refercences and the story line was cute. Felt the music was a bit shrill in the first half. It was difficult to hear the voices sometimes. Second half they seemed to turn down the volume a bit and it was better. The characters were great, wish the killer queen had a stronger voice though. I would go see it again. Fun time, wish the audience was more involved. The Shubert has a tendency to attract a more sedate crowd.

  • A "Rock"ing good time!

    by Theatrefan1 on 4/29/14Shubert Theater - New HavenRating: 4 out of 5

I had a blast seeing this show! Great talent, a killer live band, and lots of music and bright lights! I would recommend it to any Queen fan, and theatre fans too!

Most fun you will ever have in the theater. The story is great, the songs are fantastic, the jokes are nonstop hysterical. Blows other jukebox musicals out of the water. If you are looking for an entertaining show that leaves you with a buzz, then look no further!
