  • "We will rock you" rocked.

by Rheino on 10/28/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Just Fabulous. My wife and I had great seats. The show was great. Freddie Mercury would definitely approved. The band was awesome ( 3 guitar players which shows how great Brian May is). Actors/singers were first class.

  • Music was great, story just ok

by meditator on 10/28/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Split the difference on my Rating and Recommendation. Probably would give 3 1/2 star rating because the music and acting were terrific. And would give a "maybe" recommend to a friend, depending on who that friend was and how much he likes Queen music.

  • Queen rocked us

by jlghoops on 10/28/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Great show from start to finish. Galileo, Scaramouche and Oz were the best voices in my opinion. My wife and I both liked Act 1 far more than Act 2. Under Pressure and No-One But You were are two favorite songs. Loved the sections of show when band was exposed.

  • Awesome

My husband and i loved this show. My husband is not into watching Broadway shows but he loved this so much, he has been on the internet trying to find it showing closer to home, Oklahoma.

Can we all move on from jukebox musicals? Flimsy (and annoying, highly predictable) story as an excuse to sing amazing Queen songs. Just tour as a Queen cover band.

  • WE WILL ROCK YOU DOES JUST THAT!!1

I saw this show in Vegas many years ago and have been WAITING for it to come back to the states!! Was amazing and if it comes back around again, will probably see it again.

Best show ever. The music was great, the sound was great, the play was awesome... want to see it again.

  • The only word I can use to describe this is AWFUL.

by ChicagoTurtle on 10/27/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

This story is so inane, it makes Mamma Mia look like Shakespeare. Second graders have written better stories. I decided not to see Once because I had already bought tickets to this. Now I wish I'd have shredded these tickets and paid to see Once. The music was generally acceptable, but not enough to make this a worthwhile experience. Get the playlist to the show, and listen to the original recordings instead.

  • Amazing!!!!!

by Mysticookiebear on 10/27/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This show was absolutely beautiful! The characters were funny, clever, memorable, and very talented. Galileo was so good and showed so much emotion through the songs and Scaramouche was brilliant, she really had an impressive set of lungs. Being able to see some of my favorite songs being performed right in front of me was nothing short of magical. Im not going to lie, I did shed some tears throughout the performance. IF you grew up with Queen or consider yourself a fan, do yourself a favor and WATCH WE WILL ROCK YOU!!!!!

  • Not what was expected.

    by Ritt13 on 10/27/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

It was humorous and entertaining, but not the story line that I was expecting. At times the band/music was too loud and you couldn't hear what the performers were singing.

  • not quite Rocked

by Lawdoc on 10/27/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

We wanted to see it when we were in London last year. Glad we didn't spend the money. Not quite what we expected. The plot was silly. Music was great. Performers great. Choreography great. It's difficult to make a story out of pre-existing music. Mama Mia tried and that story was far-fetched too. Over all we are glad we went but it wasn't something we would drop everything to see.

  • Thoroughly Entertaining!!!

  • We Will Rock You Was a Blast From The Past!

    by LS84 on 10/27/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The cast and band brought Queen back to life! Excellent cast and band that had the audience singing along. Definitely worth seeing!

I took my husband for his 58th birthday so we were right in the Queen era. Even though this wasn't about Queen the way they incorporated the music into the storyline was terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • We Will Rock You, Ok for fun

by MtBeckyB on 10/26/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

This show was fun, but building any show around one groups songs can be a challenge. Seemed cookie cutter, reminding me at times of Sergent Peppers (movie), and Rock of Ages. Knowing it has been around for 11 years in London, I was excited to see it. It was fun to see current events ( twerking) written into the storyline. I was, however, surprise at the number of available seats on the first night. We spent extra for the preshow VIP. Only had time for one drink, but no lines to the bathrooms. Intermission seemed short. Opportunities for after show pics and autographes with cast available. May see again, but likely will not fly 1000 miles to get there

  • Worst show I've ever seen in my life!

    by critical12 on 10/26/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

Seriously. can I give this NEGATIVE stars? How did this show ever get to Broadway? The plot was ridiculous. I would say it was geared towards 14 year olds if it weren't for all the pelvic thrusting and unfunny sexual innuendo. I see a lot of shows, and I love Queen. I was really looking forward to seeing this, and I was so disappointed. We nearly left at intermission. Aside from the stupid plot line, the singing was mediocre, the sound was terrible, and they kept flashing super bright lights at the audience. I had to keep my eyes closed half the show. Didn't the director ever sit in the audience? I can see why this was only in town for 5 days. Save your money.

  • Great music with a twist.!!!

    by BKen55 on 10/26/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The liked way that the Queen music was incorporated into the story. Anyone who likes rock and roll will find this show amusing and funny. The band was spot on. I would recommend seeing this play.

  • It Rocked Us!!

by Nativefoods on 10/26/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

It was one of the greatest concerts/musicals we've ever been to. Everyone loved it. Lots of singing along. Great music!!

  • Not quite Queen

by banko on 10/26/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Show was ok. Definitely entertaining. Music was a good selection of Queen songs, the choreography was good. The story was a little lame though, not quite what I had expected. At times it felt like a high school musical.
