Washington Wizards History
Founded in 1961, the Washington Wizards franchise has called Chicago, Baltimore, Landover, Maryland. and Washington, D.C. home. Known earlier as the Packers, Zephyrs and Bullets, the franchise changed its name to the Wizards in 1997.
After earning two playoff appearances in their first five seasons in Baltimore, the team started a formidable run of postseason success starting in the 1968–69 season. Led by Hall of Famers Earl Monroe and Wes Unseld (and later Elvin Hayes), the Bullets went to the playoffs 12 seasons in a row, including four trips to the Finals and a championship in 1978. Behind an MVP performance from Unseld, Washington defeated Seattle in a decisive Game 7 to clinch the title.
Five consecutive postseason appearances highlighted the Bullets’ 80s. The franchise bounced back in the early 2000s, built around the core of Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler. That trio led Washington to four straight playoff appearances from 2005–2008. Since then, the Wizards have qualified for the postseason five times behind All-Stars John Wall and Bradley Beal, the latter of which became one of six players in NBA history to average 30-plus points per game in back-to-back seasons.

Loved the arena and the production of the wizards games were awesome
Was a great game, good venue, enjoyed the flow of the arena but expensive parking at the arena.
It was a get out and fun evening. I was well warranted. I took my son, his girl friend, nephew and wife. All stated they had a great time. The Washington employees really had a hand on the Covid mandate which made me feel very comfortable.
Tktmastr great seats, great experience with my son. We even won the game. Thanks to tktmastr, have three more games and look for to more with great deals. Thanks for a great experience tktmastr!
So much fun everything was excellent from parking, game and food
it was awesome great seats and good prices got to enjoy ever aspect of the game with my family
This was my very 1st time attending a NBA game. I grew up in DMV area & never had a interest to attend a game. I have lived in the 757 area for most of my adult life & finally decided to attend. My boyfriend is a Miami Heat fan & Capital One Arena was the closest arena for him to see his team play. Our son came with us. This was a great family get away & outing. I think I was loving the atmosphere the most. Whoever the DJ was in charge of music make sure he or she stays around for a long time. This was an awesome time. The food was pricy but it was expected so we just ate at a nearby restaurant after the game. Other than that we are making plans to see the Capitals play during the hockey season. Thank you for a great experience.
Had to almost yell to converse with the person next to me. The people behind had the same issue which made things even louder. I chose not to talk so the people in front of me weren’t forced to hear my every word. Felt like I had stepped into a video game. Wasn’t there supposed to be a basketball game? Think I missed it, too many distractions. Sick of hearing the car wash song hand clapping too, way overdone!
My kids and I enjoyed the game. Great seats and views
Wanted to take my son to a wizards basketball game and was bombarded with lgbtq...lmnopqrs propaganda. Pregame, halftime and everything in between was a part of the agenda. They failed to mention any of this before purchase, or I would not have bought them.
Easy getting in no problems, enjoy the basketball game, the people around me we're great.. first time seeing a real basketball game..
Game against the Bucks was a lot of fun, even though the crowd was filled with Bucks fans. MSE does a lot to get fans excited. I would say they need to find a way to give shirts, coupons, etc to fans not in the 100 section. Share the fun!
I'm not good at English. But this service is easy to use. The only concern was that I could not download the application in Japan.
Awesome experience in my first NBA game ever! Team did not win but the atmosphere was awesome
Was a great night out watching The Washington Wizards.
It was great but there were people moving to seats that they didnt pay for. This made me upset because a lady continued to cough behind me and her daughter kept kicking my sit. Finally they left and all was well.
I loved it was an very exciting game... and after the game the concert awesome great music Mase and Dru Hill ❤️🏀
I got to watch one of my favorite players last night OMG!!! Ja Morant and he led all scorers to win the game.
The event security staff is smart, efficient and friendly as they screen people. The interior crew is friendly and seem to know the regular customers. The game was televised which meant longer than usual intermissions but the entertainment was diverse and regularly engaged the crowd.
The game was awesome! They kept us pumped, kept us excited, the music was perfect! Kept my attention and the concert was awesome! The performers...Dru Hill, Mase and the others were an addition on the awesome game! With the price being great, I will do this again and again!
