Washington Mystics History
The Washington Mystics are a professional women's basketball team in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Since their introduction in 1998 as one of the WNBA’s first expansion franchises, the Mystics have topped the Eastern Conference twice and won the WNBA Finals in 2019. The team was led in their early seasons by multi-season rebounding champion Chamique Holdsclaw and four-time All-Star Alana Beard. The Mystics reached their first Finals in 2018 behind the play of two-time WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne. Washington returned to the Finals in 2019, winning a thrilling 3-2 series against the Connecticut Sun and delivering D.C. its first professional basketball title since 1978. Delle Donne won her second career MVP in 2019 while shooting the WNBA’s only 50-40-90 season, and teammate Natasha Cloud was named the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.

I always have a great time with my friends at the games. I just wish we could have won!
great fast pace gamewith lots of engery from players and the fans
Court-side seats, free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks and a great game. Women's basketball at any level is about execution of fundamentals. It was a great game and a great venue. All ages and a great mix of fans. Not too loud like most professional or even college games. We loved the experience.
If you like basketball, I mean a real fan of the game, then check out a WNBA game. You get the professional game experience at a fraction of the cost compared to an NBA game. Good competition, great seats, economical price, and a all around good time.
This game was outstanding! The winner was determined at the buzzer. The Mystics are a really good team. The Sky is a great team! The skills exhibited by these players were outstanding!
I used to go to the Mystics games often but kind of slowed down on going, but after this great game it looks like I'll be returning back soon!
After the visitors jumped out to leads in each of the first 2 quarters, the Mystics responded. The remainder of the game was a see-saw affair, with each team getting, but not being able to maintain, a lead of several points. Game came down to the last basket in the last several seconds, with the Sky coming out on top.
The event was really fun. Parking took time but we made it before half time. Lol my seats were really good also.
Enjoyed game between Washington Mystics and Minnesota Lynx. Good battle between 2 teams at or near the top of their divisions. WNBA basketball is good basketball; these ladies are at the top of their sport and people should not dismiss it simply because it is women. Sure, you are not going to see slam dunks all over the place with women's basketball but everything else is there. Shooting, rebounding, playing defense, setting screens, free throw shooting, etc. If you are not sure you would like it, take in a game; I think you would like it.
Our tickets had us sitting real close. The talent level of the women players was incredible. I've never enjoyed a basketball game more. The emotions that the women display was very interesting to me. The risk that day take to their bodies playing basketball is equal to the men playing at the same level.
This game was so much fun. I like how it was so interactive
Game was fantastic. Seats were great. And the best part is that the Mystics won!
The seats were great close to court saw all the action on and off the court would love to do it again... worth it all for family...
Great seats! Great game for a good price! I can't wait to go again!
Great Game ! Mystics controlled the game till late in the fourth quarter. Mystical in the way they played for the most part > Tulsa shocking how they ended up losing. Wish Bria Hartley could have played. The team looks young and competitive. Just the right mix of veteran savvy. It's early they'll be fine. Good crowd, good interactive fan participation throughout. My quest enjoyed the experience ( their 1st ever ) . And as usual SO DID I. p.s. meeting Skylar Diggins up close didn't hurt either Forever a Loyal Mystic Fan ( Go Mystics > Go Bria H and Stephanie Dolson especially )
Game was fun! WIsh they would have won but still enjoyed it.
Had a fabulous time. Love the Mystics. Wish I could afford to attend more games.
very exciting game to the end. Was on the edge of my seat
Great unselfish team basketball! Love the passion and intensity they bring to the court, coaches and all! Good family entertainment, especially if you have a young girl (or boy for that matter!) looking to learn the game and see it played at a high level with sound fundamentals....Go Mystics!
Great experience. I will definitely return next season!!!!
