    It's about the music

by Anonymouso765 on 6/20/12Paradise Rock Club - Boston

As Walk the Moon is one of my favorite bands, of couse I thought it was awesome! they had so much energy and really seem like cool people. however, it was SO crowded and i was pushed and shoved and (literally) pulled out of the way. there was also A LOT of screaming right into my ear. the music was also really loud and i couldnt hear a thing after except the ringing. regardless I had a blast and these guys ROCK!!!!!! whatever cons there were, it was worth it :)

    Beyond energetic

by thecommissioner on 6/20/12Paradise Rock Club - Boston

If we could figure out a way to harness the energy of a Walk the Moon concert, we could solve the energy crisis and global warming. Can't wait to see them again this Friday in DC.

Walk the Moon is high intensity

by Strangeling on 6/20/12Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Morning Parade was a high energy band that played lots of great songs. The camaraderie between Morning Parade and Walk the Moon was charming. Walk the Moon played a sold out show with so much fun and just plain awesomeness. They play with all members at the front of the stage, and their songs can't be beat. Best concert I've been to all year.

Even better than the first time

by Anonymous on 6/20/12Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Amazing! I've seen Walk the Moon before when they played in the Paradise Rock Club supporting the Kaiser Chiefs but I have to say that this time they were amazing! It may have been due to the fact that they were the main act so had more stage time or that most of the crowd were there to see them compared to last time. I don't think they expected to play an encore as they looked genuinely shocked that the crowd wanted more. The fact that they played Anna Sun BEFORE the encore would even suggest that they didn't not expect to go back out on stage. Got to hear 'I can lift a car' this time (they didn't play it last time) and the crowd went crazy. They played some of their new stuff and looked forward to buying a copy of that album as they have some cool retro-like riffs in there. The Liftaway intro was amazing and sent chills down my spine. Amazing band and would definitely see again as they have a very energetic vibe as well as sounding amazing live.

Awesome live music to dance to!

by KaitTheGreat on 6/20/12Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This band is AMAZING live! This was my 3rd time seeing this band in 3 months. They get everyone to dance while enjoying some great upbeat summer music! I brought a few of my friends this time and without them knowing a lot of their music (the album came out yesterday), they also had a blast! Some of my friends waited til last minute to get tix and the show was sold out. Make sure to get these tix early, swing by the merch table to get ur face painted, and don't forget ur dancing shoes! ;) Also, this venue is great for the smaller intimate setting. You feel so connected with the band and the music that it's truly an experience you won't forget.

Walk the Moon is, hands down, the best bands I have ever seen live. This is the second show of theirs I've seen, the first being at NYC's Santos Party House this past March. These guys have so much energy that it's impossible to stand still in the crowd.

Walk The Moon Will Blow You Away Into Outer Space

by ChocoThunda on 6/20/12Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Walk the Moon was an amazing concert and they certainly made a mark on me. I only learned about them around Memorial Day when a friend introduced me to their 3 song EP. I was lucky enough to get tickets to the concert and was excited to attend. Little did I know that I would be gaining more than just a night of entertainment but an introduction into amazing. Walk the Moon immediately had the crowd in their hands and they gentle took us through an adventure of sound, sights, and motion. Like veteran puppet masters they pulled the strings of the crowd keeping everyone involved, excited, and entertained. Like greatest artist of old they found wants to incorporate the crowd’s voice, dance, and energy into the concert. Their show wasn’t a bunch of individuals enjoying music but a community affair where you danced with strangers and sang with new friends. In the end I believe everyone who walked into the show left with a great love of Walk the Moon and an appreciation for what truly amazing music is.

Not only was Walk the Moon truly incredible, but BOTH of their opening bands (Royal Teeth, and Morning Parade) were as well. Everyone put so much energy and heart into the show. Walk the Moon is one of my favorite bands to see live! They put their whole hearts into the show which is great to see.

    So much fun!

    by SommerV8 on 6/18/12iLounge Inside Clutch Cargo's - Pontiac

"Walk the Moon," was the best concert I have been to in years! I brought my friends who had never heard their music and they had a great time too! They had techincal problems in the begining which delayed the start, but they were worth the wait. The band was very energetic, when they danced the audience did too.

The leader singer makes my knees go weak, and they sound AMAZING live!!! Definatly in my top 5 favorite bands! Walk the Moon & Kopecky Family Band - Excellent!!!

by MRackem on 12/4/11Headliners Music Hall - Louisville

Walk the Moon and their opening band, the Kopecky Family Band, at Headliners in Louisville, Kentucky were both excellent. The Kopecky Family Band was one of those rare opening band presents that introduces you to a great new band. I bought their two EPs at the concert, and I have to say that they are better live than they are on their EPs. Lots of energy and nice harmonies in concert. I hope they go far! Speaking of energy, Walk the Moon fills the room with energy. They were so much fun to watch, and the entire audience was into the show. Also, Walk the Moon sounded great live. I would definitely recommend them. One slight criticism with Walk the Moon, their amps were set too loud. Headliners is a small venue, and, when we all left the concert, everyone complained that their ears were ringing and they had a headache because it was too loud. While it was a great show, Walk the Moon really needed to turn it down a little bit. The Kopecky Family Band had the volume absolutely right!

    Ridiculously Fun Band!!!

by FANinLou on 10/19/11Headliners - Louisville

I'm honestly shocked that this band hasn't been reviewed yet. It's an honor to be the first! I saw this band for the first time for free with my local public radio station, 91.9 wfpk in Louisville, Kentucky. It was supposed to be a huge, outdoor event but our downtown flooded. Graciously, the artists agreed to play a smaller venue, Headliners, and tore the roof off!!! To this day, Walk the Moon at Headliners is my favorite "Waterfront Wednesday"! Walk the Moon is comprised of four very talented and entertaining young men. And I mean YOUNG! Everything about these guys is genuine and authentic. From the band personally painting faces and hanging out in the crowd during the opening acts to the drum circle/jam session during their act showcasing their many talents, this band made the city of Louisville a FAN! The 21 year old inde rock fans to the 80 year old WW regulars, we all jammed out and had a blast together at this show! I've never seen a relatively unknown band provoke so much energy! Walk the Moon clearly loves to play and has as much fun as their fans. True entertainers through and through. Without a second thought I give this band 5 Stars!! So happy for their success!! I can't wait to see them again!!!
