WALK THE MOON celebrates the ten year anniversary of their self-titled LP by hitting the road on their "10th Anniversary Tour" this Fall. Best known for the cult classic "Anna Sun", WALK THE MOON performs their first album which will be followed by a special acoustic set. The evening of celebration finishes off with an energetic performance of their greatest hits. The "10th Anniversary Tour" will be stopping in select cities across North America, including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Washington DC, Boston, and New York City. Hailing from Cincinnati, OH, WALK THE MOON consists of Nicholas Petricca (singer/keyboardist), Eli Maiman (guitarist), and Sean Waugaman (drummer). In 2015, the band catapulted to stardom when their hit single "Shut Up and Dance", which is included on their RIAA Certified Platinum album TALKING IS HARD, became a multi-platinum global smash that peaked at No. 1 on the Alternative, Hot AC, and AC charts, went to No. 2 at Top 40 radio, No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, and broke the record for consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart. Throughout their career, the band has had a slew of honors including winning two Billboard Music Awards, and nominations for an MTV Music Video Award for Best Rock Video, American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Duo Or Group, New Artist of the Year, and Favorite Alternative Rock Artist and iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Duo/Group of the Year, Song of the Year, and Alternative Rock Song of the Year for "Shut Up and Dance." WALK THE MOON's third album, 2017's What If Nothing, included hits such as "Kamikaze" and the #1 Alternative Radio hit "One Foot". WALK THE MOON's highly anticipated fourth album HEIGHTS is out now and features radio hits "Can You Handle My Love??" and "Giants".
The band has so much energy and are an absolute blast to watch live.
One of those most energetic and heartfelt performances I’ve ever seen. I’m a huge fan of this band and this show made me like them even more.
Helluva show. Crowd was into it, wish they would of still had the second night!
We saw Walk the Moon at Bogart's on Saturday, October 2. Their energy was incredible. For an hour and 45 they crushed their setlist, jumping, dancing, and generally engaging the audience on nearly every song. Don't know how they kept up the energy and were still able to sing. And it's not just the front man. Maiman is equally up to the task of engaging the audience. While Bogart's isn't anything special, the intimacy of the small venue and ease of getting toward the front added to the experience.
I’ve been to a lot of concerts, and some of them have been amazing, and some were… not so great. But this one, was fantastic! The venue was small and intimate, the staff were so incredibly helpful and nice! The vibes were great and the crowd had such good energy! Walk the Moon are incredible entertainers, and the way they interact with the crowd is amazing, not to mention how amazing it was watching them in their hometown! If you get the chance please see them for sure!
We had a great time at the walk the moon concert at Bogart’s in Cincy. The drink lines moved quickly, the bathrooms were clean, the other concert goers were respectful and fun!
Walk the Moon always puts on an incredible show - especially in their hometown. 10/10 would recommend. Bogarts could have been a little more clear on where general vs VIP lines were but it was all around a phenomenal experience!
The band was AMAZING! Bartenders were fast and super nice, lines weren’t too long for anything, and it was an overall great experience- except the canned water. Tastes like metal and somehow not hydrating at all -2/10 for the water, 100/10 for everything else!
Incredible performance in a great venue! I’ve been to Paradise Rock Club several times and it never disappoints. The venue requires masks as well as proof of vaccine OR negative COVID test. Walk the Moon left their hearts and souls out on the stage, it was an arena quality show in a small club setting! 10/10 would see again (and again)!
Such an amazing show. Only had a couple of issues in general not too bad. Would take the trip again 11/10.
Walk The Moon threw a great show! I will definitely see them all perform again.
I hadn't come up with their latest stuff that has been released the past few months since I don't listen to the radio much, but they played tons of older stuff that I absolutely love.
We had VIP. Such a memorable night. They are some of the best live performers you’ll ever get to see. Venue was great too.
Walk The Moon are incredible performers and they brought incredible energy to their music! They also just had really good vibes, I don’t know how else to explain it. The concert was good for my soul.
It was awesome seeing Walk the Moon's 1st live show with their new tour! I think it's the 4th time seeing them and they get better every time. One of the great live band's to see!
This was my wife and I third time seeing them and they always put on a fantastic show. Can’t wait for the next one!
The night was absolutely incredible. Johnny and In Real Life invites everyone up to the front so I got front row for both performances and it was just so much fun.
I absolutely loved the show, this venue is always great and seeing one of my favorite bands live was amazing. I have to say, I won’t be buying a VIP package again. Other than the AMAZING!!! seats, everything else was rushed and poorly managed. There were 3 bands which had their own m&g - so we had to wait until it was our turn to meet the band we bought M&G for. Walk the Moon was last and so incredibly rushed. I barely had a chance to shake hands before we were shuffled out of the room after a quick photo. It seemed like the band was overwhelmed and fans really didn’t get a chance to “meet” them. It was incredibly disappointing. My suggestion would be to sell less m&g packages so more fans have the opportunity to spend more than 30 seconds meeting the band, especially when we are paying so much money.
The concert was a blast and we all had fun there. Both my sister and nephew enjoyed it and so did I. I was glad to end work and get in the car with my sister and nephew, it was the best show we ever have seen
Opening act was just a singer with a backing track. The little guy (Johnny Orlando) did a nice job, but didn’t quite play 25 minutes. In Real Life was next. They did a decent job, but just a backing track for 5 singers. Still no band. And they only played 30 minutes. Just OK. Walk the Moon played a lot of their hits and sounded great. They were a good headliner. Great vocal work, great musicianship, and great set list. I liked it, but had to give em 3 stars because they only played 45 minutes. That was my only complaint about WTM; they should have played a little longer and maybe done an encore. It was pretty good.
