First and certainly not last time time seeing VNV they are great. Love the way people are part o the show. They are great at getting the audience attention and participation. Even while on stage they signed someone's LP. Excellent show.
I have been going to VNV Nation Concerts for about five years now. I would recommend them to anyone who like Industrial, Electronica, or anyone that's looking for something life changing. Forget all your troubles for one night and see VNV Nation if you EVER get the chance. It is one thing in your life that you will never forget!
I've been waiting to see VNV Nation for about six years now. I can't explain enough how amazing they are and moreover, how amazing they are live! It was everything i hoped for and more. By far the best show i've been to, ever. The group really worked with the crowd and you can tell how much they appreciated that we were there and that we were all having a great time. Bottom line, the music was hauntingly beautiful, the members of the group were amazing, the crowd was fantastic, and the venue was just right! Thank you Ronan and Mark.
It does not get any better than this. What a show. I wish they had performed fearless, but it was unreal just the same.
VNV was good as usual (4th time seeing them). Overall, the setlist was solid, with a minimum of cheesy ballads and 80s-style (new) Electro songs. The performance was fine, with the exception of Ronan's vocal flourishes, which made it hard for the audience to sing along. War Tapes was acceptable for its Peter Murphy/Love Like Blood/Ikon/Love and Rockets style of music. Ayria was awful as always..
The band itself plays well live, but they also have stunning and stirring visuals accompanying their performance. They played more than one encore and were very energetic and interactive with the crowd. However, they came on very late in relation to announced show start. There were 2 opening acts prior to VNV taking the stage, which forced one to pass the time buying grossly overpriced drinks at the Nokia Theater bars. :P
I have never been to a VNV Nation concert before but I've heard that their shows are really great. Now that I have seen them live, I know it is true. I can't wait until they tour again around California or New York. I will definitely be there for sure!
Entertaining show, given that it was the first of the tour... a little loose with the production and banter. Venue was nice and up to expectations. Difficult to find the physical entry. Good sound, Cool use of HD feeds upstairs Nice decor (upstairs). Good employee customer relations. Parking arrangements were convenient.
One of the best shows i have seen VNV play in 10 years. Despite having a previous injury Ronin did not slow down. High Energy set kept the crowd moving. The guys were in a friendly positive mood and it shined through with every beat. They played a fairly mixed long set with songs from all there albums. A brilliant encore with a little drum help from Joe the drummer from combichrist. over all a good time was had by all.
VNV nation’s gigs are the greatest examples of the unforgettable synergy between a band and a crowd. VNV music will make you scream and laugh and cry song after song. Ronan’s talks will entertain you in-between sets and make you feel comfortable and welcome. The Ronan’s ability to spread the energy and unite makes every VNV nation concert like a family reunion even if you are surrounded by total strangers. NY gig was as inspiring and energizing as a gig in Leipzig 4 years ago. Great job!

This was my 4th VNV nation concert since I've been a fan since 1999. It was one of the best shows I've seen! The venue was perfect and the sound was incredible! 5 STARS!

My first time seeing VNV Nation and the whole night was incredible. Both opening acts, War tapes and Ayria, were fantastic, and they really boosted the energy going into the headliners. I would see either of them again. When VNV Nation took the stage the whole room lit up with energy. They played a setlist that included some very unexpected material as well as their hits from the past decade. Every track was spot on. The most unexpected part of the night was how funny Ronan was. I have been waiting forever to see them play live and I had expected a very intense show, instead I saw the most entertaining, and funny concert i have ever seen. The band is phenomenal live and I cannot wait to see them again.
I love it!!!!!! I loved this concert....It was my first concert and I loved it. They have this good energy on stage beautiful!!!!!! I would for sure check them out again
- Fairly cheap tickets - Very well organized event - Really great venue - Courteous and helpful event staff - Event opened doors and started exactly on time as listed - VNV Nation was amazing! Talkative, friendly to crowd, and played for just a hair over 2 hours!
VNV always put on a good show and this one was no exception. It was the first night of their Faith, Power and Glory US tour. Ronan said he had travelled for about 22 hours but he didn't skimp on delivering his usual high energy performance. I've seen VNV about 4 times, and while this wasn't the best I've heard them play, it was still very very good. Seeing them at Club Nokia was an added bonus. I bought tickets through Ticketmaster and noticed the VIP tix were only a few dollars more than the regular ones- so I bought them. What an excellent decision. I sat in the balcony, and afterwards had the opportunity hang out with the band in the VIP lounge. Very swank. If you get a chance to see VNV, or go to Club Nokia I highly recommend them.
I have seen VNV Nation in concert on numerous occasions, and have never been disappointed. There is always a really positive energy to the crowd, and Mark and Ronin know exactly how to keep it that way. Even the most stone-faced and stoic of individuals will find it hard not to dance.
We had an amazing time. They are soo talented and the venue was perfect-very small and personal. We all had a great time.
I've been a VNV devotee for many years. This show was just as amazing as all the others I've been to. Great to be at the first show to start a tour - a couple of the new songs, a lot of older stuff as well. My first time at this venue, and I was impressed. It was spacious, clean, good sound acoustics, nice lounge upstairs.
