The pre-performances outside were fantastic! The program inside was great! I liked the way you added the acts on the screen. In the future, it would be nice to leave them up a little longer so pictures can be taken. I will continue to encourage people I know to go see the show. I seen in 6 times now! Thanks
We really enjoyed the Tattoo but would have liked more bagpipe and drum groups and fewer military bands. The arena needs better markings for the section numbers. Section 202 had no marking on the wall behind it. Also, some kind of arrows indicating which side seats 1 and 17 are on before one enters the gate.
I go to the Virginia International Tattoo every year and I absolutely love it every time! The music, singing and pageantry are one-of-a-kind. When I gaze out at the whole arena filled with all those different talented marching bands playing in perfect unison and the heavenly choral groups are singing on stage and the photographs of smiling military families welcoming home their loved ones are flashing on the big screen, my eyes fill with tears of joy! I also totally enjoy the entertainment by each of the US and allied groups and individual singers and performers. Then at the end when the bands play and the choral groups sing Amazing Grace my emotions overwhelm me! Congratulations, NATO, on a fantastic event! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The show was fantastic! The venue sucked!! I bought front row seating for this event in Oct 22. When we got to the venue the section I bought tickets for was closed off! The usher I spoke to called a manager. When I spoke to her I was told that I was being moved to other seating and she gave us tickets 6 rows back from front row where I spent over 200.00 for. NOT HAPPY!
We couldn’t ask for a more Patriotic and entertaining program. Went Sunday afternoon and it was indescribable! Looking forward to next year.
I went to the 2016 Tattoo and thought that wS good but this was awesome. Great time with my veteran friends.
I had goosebumps! Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed this show! I will be back next year. Came from Tennessee. Worth every dime and more!!!
OMGosh, I can't believe I waited so long to see this. Amazing talent!! I don't think there could have been a bad seat. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Can't wait til next year. Definitely worth going to see!
Always love the pipe and drums! Enjoyed the ode to the Jordanian and Dutch military. Our Marine band, Air Force Silent Drill Team, and Navy band never disappoint.
Our granddaughter was a participant with the Highland Dancers. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance from start to finish! We are from Alberta Canada so this was a much anticipated trip, and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the Highland dancers, the military bands, and the voice musicals. The band on the bicycles was just great too! We hope to return to this event I need the future. Thank you Norfolk!!🥳🥳
WOW! What a show! This was a FANTASTIC evening! We were there for the NATO parade, the pipe band competitions during the day, and the show that night! We will be going back to watch this, annually!

We saw it in 2019 before COVID and was amazing. This year was ok. Maybe because of COVID they didn’t have as many performers as years before. Still was a nice show
My wife and I have attended almost every Tattoo since they began. I got very concerned a few years ago that it was becoming a rock connect with the introduction of several rock numbers that had no place in a military tattoo. But this one was on target. Definitely one of the best ever. Patriotic, uplifting, honoring our military heroes! Thank you!
Very well orchestrated and choreographed! A wide variety of entertainment...dancers, drill teams, bands, countries. Loved it all!
This is one of our most anticipated events of the year, and the 2022 production did not disappoint. Everything was great!

Other than precision drill team competitions, this was the most awesome thing I have ever seen. Words fail me to diatribe it, but everyone should see it without a doubt. I would go every night if the budget would afford it!
This performance totally exceeded all my expectations. The friends I was with were unfamiliar with this type of performance and enjoyed the entire show. It was worth the drive from Illinois to attend.
