Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Vince Gill has become one of the most celebrated country artists of all-time, selling over 24 million albums throughout his career and winning 20 Grammy Awards, more than any other male country artist in history. In 2013, he played for ticket holders in concert across North America and the U.K. and is scheduled to tour with George Strait in 2014. Born in 1957 in Oklahoma, he learned how to play several instruments including banjo and guitar as a child and played in a bluegrass band in high school. He joined the country band Pure Prairie League in the late 1970s before leaving the group in 1982 to pursue his solo career. He put out four solo albums in the 1980s, including 1984’s Turn Me Loose and 1989’s When I Call Your Name, before releasing the double platinum 1991 album Pocket Full of Gold. His next album, 1992’s I Still Believe in You, reached No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and sold over three million copies with hit singles “What the Cowgirls Do” and “Whenever You Come Around.” Gill’s 1993 Christmas album Let There Be Peace on Earth also went platinum, and 1994’s When Love Finds You peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard chart, his most successful album selling over four million copies. More commercial and critical success followed with 1996’s High Lonesome Sound and 1998’s The Key, and his next five solo albums reached the country top five, including 2000’s Let's Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye and 2006’s These Days. The Country Music Association has bestowed Gill with a total of 18 CMA Awards including two Entertainer of the Year awards and five Male Vocalist Awards, and in 2007, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
I’ve been to several of his concerts and this was exceptional. He played a lot of his new songs and they were all great. He played for 3 hours! A lot of audience participation. It was an awesome concert!!
Vince Gill played and almost three hours ! He has a beautiful voice and is very entertaining. The venue was also good.
Loved the music but words were distorted on faster songs. Especially enjoyed Wendy Moten’s solo songs and would love to hear more duets between her & Vince. Language could be cleaned up when talking with audience.
Best concert I’ve been to in years! Vince Gill is an amazing musician who knows how to keep an audience interested until the very last note!!! For an added surprise, he was very funny and could tell a story! Loved the whole concert and cannot wait to see him again! If you like guitars, this is one you don’t want to miss.
Vince put on a great show! Sang all his great hits plus shared many new awesome songs he has recently written ! Loved every minute!
We would have enjoyed the experience twice as much if it were 1/2 as loud and half as cold. Vocals were wonderful, the band was powerful, sound was overwhelming. Temperature was 62* in our area. Restrooms were backed up 5 to 1 men to women. Seating was comfortable, view unrestricted. Staff was friendly and courteous. Parking personnel were exemplary. Reminders and directions to the event were timely and helpful.
Sung all the hits, all his new songs and an new female singer, Wendy Moten! Three and a half hour concert! He was having fun, so everyone in the audience was too!
I drove up a day early. Ticked off at myself all the way home I said I'm not coming back tomorrow. But I woke up Thursday morning and said I've got a great seat to see Vince Gill and I know exactly where the building is. So I went!
I completely enjoyed the Vince Gill concert! He played so many of his classic older songs and added some new songs that will surely become hits too!
Vince Gil put on a tremendous show. We would definitely like to see him come back to Asheville.
My wife and I love Vince Gill. Our first time seeing him was in 1993 in Columbia, SC. Over the years we have seen him many times. This year alone we have seen him 4 times, twice with the Eagles and twice by himself. Vince is amazing and each performance is fantastic. His voice is beyond perfect and his guitar skills are second to none. Thursday’s performance was excellent. Hopefully we can see his Christmas special in Nashville this year.

Vince was great! He played for 3.5 hrs with only about a 15 minute break. He worked his butt off to entertain the crowd!
I picked seat at the back of the mezzanine. Not crowded at all an no one behind us. I finally got to cross Vince Gill off my bucket list, he had been on there for years. We have never seen a better showman. Perfect night!
Vince Gill is the ultimate performer…no flash just good music, excellent songs and guitar licks to entertain everyone! Don’t miss the opportunity to see Vince live… you will be glad you did!
Upon arrival there was a long line but it went fast so there was no major delay getting into the venue. We were able to find out seats easily but there were people about to help you if you didn't know where your seats were located. The concert was great. Vince Gill is a wonderful story teller in both his music and in between songs. He connected well with the audience. My favorites were what he played at the end of the night so don't leave early!
So thankful that Vince is still performing! His concert was great and his voice is still incredible! Played all the oldies but it was nice to hear some new songs too. Wendy Moten is an incredible talent. Love her voice! They gave 110%!

It was exciting to see Vince again. I didn’t realize his sense of humor surpasses his musicality. Like hanging with an old friend that you missed more than you knew.
