Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Vince Gill has become one of the most celebrated country artists of all-time, selling over 24 million albums throughout his career and winning 20 Grammy Awards, more than any other male country artist in history. In 2013, he played for ticket holders in concert across North America and the U.K. and is scheduled to tour with George Strait in 2014. Born in 1957 in Oklahoma, he learned how to play several instruments including banjo and guitar as a child and played in a bluegrass band in high school. He joined the country band Pure Prairie League in the late 1970s before leaving the group in 1982 to pursue his solo career. He put out four solo albums in the 1980s, including 1984’s Turn Me Loose and 1989’s When I Call Your Name, before releasing the double platinum 1991 album Pocket Full of Gold. His next album, 1992’s I Still Believe in You, reached No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and sold over three million copies with hit singles “What the Cowgirls Do” and “Whenever You Come Around.” Gill’s 1993 Christmas album Let There Be Peace on Earth also went platinum, and 1994’s When Love Finds You peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard chart, his most successful album selling over four million copies. More commercial and critical success followed with 1996’s High Lonesome Sound and 1998’s The Key, and his next five solo albums reached the country top five, including 2000’s Let's Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye and 2006’s These Days. The Country Music Association has bestowed Gill with a total of 18 CMA Awards including two Entertainer of the Year awards and five Male Vocalist Awards, and in 2007, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Very good, such a great person, very good show and he is very funny.
I've loved his music for years, but seeing him for the first time in person was a special treat. I had no idea that he could play the guitar that well. He puts on a great show.
Vince's concert was great. No fancy show, no opening act, just all Vince and his beautiful voice and sexy eyes. Vince is so humble and down to earth you feel like he is your best friend. (that would be very nice) Love the man and have for many years. I have all of his CD and play them often. But back to his concert--I have been to his concerts in the past at the civic center when he was in the stadium and they were very good, but enjoyed the concert in the theatre much better. Just so personal with his talking about his brother and his life. HIs voice is still as wonderful as ever and I would go see him again , again and again. And who plays a guitar better than Vince Gill? No one that's who.
Vince Gill is a great entertainer. His guitar playing was far beyond our expectations. A very talented man with terrific backup and varied selection of his music.
This was an anniversay present to my wife, as our anniversary actually fell on the show date. We were 3 rows back and it felt like we were on the stage. He played quite a medley of all of his old songs, as well as some of his new ones. We really liked the way he interacted with the audience. He didn't just get on stage and play, he put on a show!!
Non-stop singing and playing. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Definitely more show for the money. Country music at it's best !
Vince Gill is one of the most awesome singers. I love him.
We saw Vince at Harrah's Grand. The venue was great. I hadn't realized what an accomplished guitar player he is. Paula Deen was in the audience. She identified herself after Vince said he had been to her buffet 4 times that day. His ability to bring the crowd to him with his humor along with his great talent and music gives him a 5 star rating.
If given the chance, don't hesitate to attend a Vince Gil concert. Not only is he so musically talented, he goes out of his way to connect with his audience and keep them entertained. His music and many humerous stories made the show seem like it was over as soon as it started.
Vince Gill put on a great show, 2 hrs. of all music. Good seats
Vince came out on the stage unannounced at precisely the time stated on our tickets. No introduction was necessary. The moment the music started, we were in for a treat. Vince looked amazingly fit & trim. Amy is doing a great job in keeping him healthy. He sounded better than ever & was in a good mood. He joked about his dad, and kidded around with Paula Deen who was in the audience. He played for almost two hours and I could have stayed and listened to him for two more! Vince has never been a disappointment and really acts like he enjoys what he is doing, not just there for the money. We try to catch him in concert whenever he is close by.
Vince was a great performance. He was funny and his guitar playing is awesome! I enjoyed every minute of it.
It's Vince Gill, of course it was an awesome concert. This was the 1st time he's been at Harrah's, always Bluesville in the last 10 years I have been to see him. Although, I do like the smaller venue at Bluesville, this was still a great concert. Even Paula Deen was at the concert, & I got to meet & talk to her in the lobby! Nice plus!
Vince played all his hits and spent some time telling funny stories and jokes that only Vince could tell.Paula Dean was in the audience and Vince picked on her a bit about how many times that day he had visited her buffet in the casino & how he loved her cooking. It was a great concert that was worth every cent.
What a tremendous performer..The complete range of Country,Rock,Gospel,Bluegrass..Vince Gill covers it all.Well worth the price and the drive..
Well worth the money! They played non-stop for 2 hours and 40 minutes.
vince gill puy on an amazing show. this one i will never forget. my husband and i both enjoyed it immensely. of course our favorite moment was when he sang look at us. he was very funny in between songs, and there was alot of them. he made fun of his self by joking about the man with the woman's voicebut then went on to say what a nice home that the voice had got him.
