  • Fan for life

I have been to 5 or 6 different Cirque du Soleil shows, now. I liked the use of projection and ice in this one. Cirque never disappoints. . . a creative and emotionally connecting showcase of strength, skill, grace and artistry. At various times throughout the show, I felt thrilled, touched and delighted. I laughed at the clowns, but I was also touched by the one that danced with the light on a pole. The aerialists were my favorites, but it was close! The hockey group was cool and something I hadn't seen before. The juggler was also excellent. And the balancing guys. . . I should stop trying to single things out and just say I loved it all. Well done!

  • A beautiful experience and storytelling

At first, I was a bit skeptical about seeing a Cirque show on ice as I have always seen them under The Big Top! This show was breathtaking with a story, with some Cirque tricks done throughout the show. It's not a normal Cirque show by any means but the beauty of the ice skating and tricks done on skates is amazing. This show just had a special touch to it, you feel the magic of the ice skaters and the story of a girl who is trapped in discovering who she is and what she wants to do. The clowning around was perfect! Outstanding show, I only wish the audience gave them a standing ovation. I have never been to a show where only a handful of people stood up. I stood up and clapped as this show was so unique, a masterpiece!

  • Amazing! Life changing!

The performance to the song Halo was my favorite part--super beautiful. I tend to be affected quite a bit by negativity but the event reminded me of the amazing, magical, incredible and beautiful things that people can do. A special night for my Wife and I.

This was my 9th Cirque de Soleil show. Everyone has been different. Absolutely fabulous entertainment.

  • Disappointing at best

by CJ on 6/4/25Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 1 out of 5

It’s definitely not on par with other Cirque performances. I read afterwards that this is their first show on ice, so I feel like I should give them a little grace. Less than 1/4 of the show was acrobatics. Mostly just skating in circles. The acrobatics that were done were fun to watch! I had to look up what the storyline was about because it certainly didn’t make any sense or have a decent flow to figure it out. The tickets seemed more expensive than other Cirque performances I’ve seen in Portland. 100% waste of money, sadly.

  • Mediocre

I'm probably not the best reviewer. I saw Kha years ago and it was amazing so I was expecting an experience like that. Crystal acted like there was going to be a story, but then everything was just thrown together random and the stunts were few and far between. I think ice is not the place for cirque du soleil. It holds them back too much. And at no fault of the performers, we unfortunately had the loudest most obnoxious people behind us who spoke loudly and constantly through the entire show. It was an okay show with a bad audience.

  • Crystal was not as spectacular as previous shows

by Mo on 6/4/25Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

Memorial Colosseum is a horrible venue, especially the upper level where there aren’t handrails. Missed seeing the high trapeze performers and costumes.

  • Very Disappointed

by DHKS on 6/4/25Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 2 out of 5

The theme seemed to be about a girl suffering from an identity crisis. The story was difficult to follow and dragged. The skating was nice but nothing fancy. There were a few good skating moments; but nothing particularly spectacular. The comic relief guy was the best part of the show. I was expecting something special but didn't receive it. This was my first time to see a Cirque du Soleil show and will be reluctant to spend the money to see another.
