by Attheryman on 3/1/23Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

First time in person to see Chris and wow, he gave a show we will never forget! I have always loved Chris and I love him even more now. His humor is inspiring, hilarious, jaw dropping and thrilling to watch. Yes, he is on the Mount Rushmore of comedians. It was great to be there in that collective high! Thanks Chris for working hard on making us think hard while we laugh hard.

    Fun night

by Phalltn on 3/1/23Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

Chris Rock was everything you’d expect him to be, gracious, funny, politically incorrect. He also had a very good comedian perform before his show. Enjoyed his show.

The most intelligent comedian I’ve seen

by DaySani on 3/1/23Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

This was only the 3rd comedy show I’ve attended & the biggest name also so my expectations didn’t know where to be. I came to see the crowd be made uncomfortable and when the abortion jokes came out, it was peak. My cheeks hurt from laughing so much.

Chris Rock delivered an outstanding show. My wife laughed for the entire show, which made it worth the money. I had never attended a comedy show before so this was the perfect first for me. I would recommend anyone who likes comedy see this show.

Well, if it isn't Chris Rock...

by Bear on 2/28/23Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

I walked out of the theater wondering what time it was, because I thought his routine was a little short. When going out, they unlocked my secured phone from the foam jacket and the phone said 9:46. The warm-up comedian tried hard to get a laugh and finally succeeded with the audience. I had not read any reviews of his routine before seeing him live. I make that my own personal rule so as to not influence my take on the show. The jokes were polished; in one section it was about race and his take on that and on us white folk becoming a minority. He avoided any direct long joke about the punch that he got from Will Smith. His closing routine about his daughter and what he did about her misbehavior was awesome.

    Raw but Polished

    by Ross1235 on 2/28/23Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

The Chris rock show was exactly what I thought it would be. He’s incredibly polished and his delivery is flawless. He touched on some rather sensitive topics but for me the show was hilarious. I’m really glad I had a chance to see him in a smaller venue. He’s a star! The only problem was the entrance with locking up all of the cell phones after using them to get into the show. It delayed the experience by about 30 minutes and was ridiculous.

His material and flow was very entertaining. Glad he addressed the incident with Will Smith. Yes, I’ve been waiting. And he delivered it in a very mature perspective with a humorous twist. Enjoyed Chris Rock show. Even got a fist bump from him!! Still waiting on my VIP package.

    Chris Rock at Ovens

    by T. H. on 2/27/23Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

I had an amazing time. I have some mobility issues and use a cane at this point. The parking was spot on and attentive to my needs. The attendees doing the phone cases, the attendees helping with seating and the bar tender were all fabulous. I enjoyed the show Chris put on and I wish I could have met him ;0). Great great job everyone!!

5 star performers, 4 star audio

by DHicks on 2/26/23Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

The comedians were fantastic, seating and sight lines were great, even from the nosebleeds BUT the audio seemed off. Felt like words were lost at times due to the dynamic range of the performers. Wish some screens were available so we "nose-bleeders" could see Rock's face.

    Stop, my chest hurts!!

by TreyDay on 2/26/23Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

In my opinion, may be his best standup. Back to back jokes that are interwoven into the whole performance. And the closing, let’s just say your stomach will be hurting from the laughs!
