The only problem with the show was they did not have any programs available. It would have been nice to see who was skating and also to keep as a souvenir from the competition. Very glad they came to Columbus and hope they return.
Organizers did a great job hosting this event. Hopefully, it will return soone.
Having USFigureskating National Championship in Columbus was amazing and afforded so many to experience a world class event and get to see all the action in person. Hope it comes back to Columbus soon so I can go to every event!
My family and I never experienced professional ice skating in person before, so we jumped at the chance! It was so smooth getting in and out. Everything was organized, everyone was kind. We even went home and watched it on TV after we left. It was fun!
The Nationwide Arena offers great views, regardless of where you sit and the food selection is large. The Figure Skating event was perfectly organized from a spectator point of view. Time flew when attending.
It was everything I expected and more. So much better than watching it on tv. You can hear the music better and really get into the flow of the program when there isn’t the commentators talking through half of it.
The US National Figure Skating Championships in Columbys were nothing short of amazing!!! The only little criticism I heard though had to do with the backdrop in the kiss and cry. It needed to be much netter than advertising the James and two huge bottle of lotion. But other than that…what a fun energizing amazing week!!!
New group of skaters coming up. Usfsa and Nationwide arena well prepared for event and we enjoyed an excellent experience.

The Nationals were very enjoyable, but here are a few ideas to improve the experience: 1) The cost of the food is too high - $4.00 for a cup of tea? And the server forgot to put the tea bags in, or didn't tell us where to find them. 2) We enjoyed the in-house host. He had a very good sense of humor when interviewing the skating assistants. Please keep him. 3) Please list the order of the skaters and their names on the overhead screens. 4) It's fine there is no written program handed out at the door, but please be sure to write the website on the screen so we can find it on our phones. We couldn't find the program on our phones for quite a while. 5) How can you get people to stay in their seats more? There was a young skating club in front of us and they were in out of their seats every half an hour. It was very annoying. I'm not sure what you can do about this. 6) Don't sell such smelly, greasy food. We came home smelling like french fries and nachos because the people in front of us were constantly eating greasy food. That was very unpleasant. Maybe provide a seating area for people to eat BEFORE they go into the stadium, and limit stadium food to cookies and popcorn. Thanks.
My experience was amazing. I never thought that I would ever get to come to one of these events. It was exciting and I have always enjoyed watching this on TV but to experience it in person was mind blowing. I used to watch it with my mom and we always loved it. Thanks for bringing it to Columbus, Ohio. I would love to come back again in the future.
The pairs skating, and the men’s free skate was amazing. The Sunday evening skating spectacular was a bit disappointing.

very entertaining watching professionals do their stuff
This was my first time attending Nationwide Arena and the first time attending US Figure Skating Nationals. The arena was amazing - every seat had a great view and was very clean. The practice ice that was made accessible to the public was a highlight for me. Buying tickets was so easy since I had a full map of the arena and was able to scan my ticket by just opening the app. I also bought a parking pass ahead of time and parked right across the street. Everything was perfect I have no complaints!
We had so much fun watching these talented athletes perform. Something that I would definitely do again.
Please try to add earbuds as American Express provides at US Tennis Open in NYC. The tv announcers expert info adds a lot to the live experience. We loved being there!
Went to 3 of the thrilling Figure Skating Championship Finals. Had to change to accessible seating due to unforeseen surgery. Very cold where we sat, needed our winter coats, warm sweaters, gloves, hats, and scarves, seriously. Could see well except the session where we were in the second row of folding chairs for accessible seating. Guest Services went out of their way to accommodate us. Food was decent or better, too bad can't bring in water. DJ was great with music in between action. Good crowd. More to do on the concourse would have been nice. Stuffed animals for sale would have been nice. My daughter really wanted to buy souvenir tshirts and an ICEY bear stuffed skating animal, but none to be had.
This was the first time Columbus hosted the US Figure Skating Championships. It was wonderful! I hope Columbus gets to host again. I attended 4 sessions total on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The only disappointment was the programs were sold out. On Friday, when the major skating started, a program could not be purchased. This was unbelievable. I do not know if the blame goes to Columbus or the Skating Association. Very disappointed! Also I am curious how the attendance in Columbus compared to other cities that have hosted. Personally, I was expecting a much larger number of people attending. Maybe advertising was lacking. I am sorry more people didn't attend, but we have a great time!!!!
