This was my first comic-con and honestly it was a blast. There were so many people all excited to be there and I just loved the general vibes of the groups. The shops were a lot of fun and there were all sorts of cool events happening, plus the celebrities I spoke to (to receive signatures from) made my day. 10/10 would recommend.
My family and I had a great time at this event. It was smaller than I had expected for the area. My family and I were able to easily get around and meet everyone we want to.
Got my Blastoise card original 1999 for 100$ . Awesome time with friends
As my title says the show was amazing like it is every year, I just wish the hours were longer than ending at 7pm. My wife and I barely had time to see everything in the vendor area and catch the few panels and Harp Twins concert that we wanted to see. We did come back for a second day but I think extending the hours to 10pm on Friday and Saturday would be more beneficial overall.
okay so this is the most fun i have ever had, it was my very first convention too and it felt like i was brought into an entirely new world. i met so many cool people and even made new friends and bought so many cool stuff. im even considering getting into cosplaying at this point it was insane, i cant wait to go to another convention
Grand Rapids comic-con is always a highlight of my year. The signers were so nice and not crazy priced. We went to Detroit comic-con three weekend before and it was so crowded the lines were long and slow. Grand Rapids it's just about right, not too crowded and still a great experience.
What a great con! Friendly and relaxed staff, great vendors, and interesting panels. I loved the choice of celebrity guests too. Could have been a little less warm on the main floor, and would have loved an in-con rave, but besides that 10/10.
Packed with great artists and vendors. Super friendly staff and attendees. Awesome panels and celebrity guests—which was a knockout list this year. I was only able to attend Saturday and am still kicking myself over all the things I missed. This is the best GR con I have attended and the vibe and excit were awesome.
The GR ComiCon was very impressive; hosting a smorgasbord of panels, events, vendor booths as well as some top notch cosplay activity. Though not as extensive as the big boys, it provided a fully satisfying Con experience.
Everyone had a blast. All my kids had a great time together ❤️ 💙
