Awesome stadium. It's so big that it is a bit detached from the game.

About
Washington Huskies Football at Husky Stadium
Seattle has a long tradition of excellent college football, and the University of Washington Huskies continue the tradition to this day. The Huskies have won 17 conference championships and seven Rose Bowls, and they claim two national championships, in 1960 and 1991. Washington plays at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium, which opened in 1920 and seats 70,083. They are coached by Kalen DeBoer, who led the Huskies to an 11-2 record and an Alamo Bowl win in his first season.
Washington Huskies Football History
The University of Washington Huskies first took to the field in 1889 and have had consistent success since. Gil Dobie led the Huskies during an unprecedented period of success in the early 1900s, leaving with a 58-0-3 record in 1916 as part of a 64-game unbeaten streak and a 40-game winning streak. Washington joined the Pacific Coast Conference in 1916, and helped to found what was then known as the Athletic Association of Western Universities in 1959, which over the years grew into the modern Pac-12 Conference. In 1991, coach Don James, along with quarterback Billie Joe Hobert, offensive tackle Lincoln Kennedy and defensive tackle Steve Emtman, led the Huskies to an undefeated season, culminating in a Rose Bowl victory over the Michigan Wolverines, and a share of the national title with Miami. Many legendary players have suited up for the Huskies, including Warren Moon, who led Washington to a Rose Bowl victory in 1978, and fellow Pro Football Hall of Famers Hugh McElhenny and Arnie Weinmeister.
While the Huskies have many rivals in the Pac-12 Conference, none are more important than the Washington State Cougars, who they face annually in the Apple Cup. With roots dating back to 1900, the Apple Cup is the traditional final regular-season game for both teams, and in recent years had conference championship implications. In 2018, No. 16 Washington upset No. 8 Washington State 28-15 for their sixth straight Apple Cup victory, and their ninth in 10 years.
Rating: 4 out of 5by Tsoccer on 11/25/14Husky Stadium - Seattle Rating: 3 out of 5 Variable start time sucks!
by HuskyBeaver on 11/25/14Husky Stadium - SeattleThe Pac-12 has gone to TBA start times to make more money from TV. This is to the detriment of the fan attending live events. There were many no-shows and a lot of leave-earlies due to the cold night in November. The league may make more money in the short term but will lose fans in the long run. Change the policy. I won't buy tickets for a TBA start time event again.
Rating: 4 out of 5 UCLA/ UDub was great at updated Husky Stadium
by PNWBruins on 11/14/14Husky Stadium - SeattleWent to this game a few years ago before the total remodel of Husky Stadium; it is a greatly improved experience now. Even though UCLA lead throughout, the UDub fans were classy from start to finish, cheering for the Huskies, not obnoxious like other schools that will remain nameless. The new main grandstands are improved versions of the demolished originals, the stands are close to the field to compensate for the height. The jumbotron board behind the Lake Washington side endzone is massive, and UDub does a great job showing replays for every snap. The food stands serve decent food, moderately priced.
Rating: 4 out of 5 waterdawg88
by h20willy on 11/11/14Husky Stadium - SeattleGood seats, perhaps slightly too low to the field to see how the plays develop. I would recommend moving up slightly to a row 12-16.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Good Atmosphere
by AJNA on 11/11/14Husky Stadium - SeattleGreat place to watch a football game - lots of great concession and souvenir options.

Rating: 1 out of 5 Washington vs Arizona State Football Game
by 1845HTV on 10/28/14Husky Stadium - SeattleI spent $1,000 for six mid-field seats and I should have taken everyone to a good restaurant and bought quality wine for everyone. A better use of my money. Let's start with the weather...awful...windy...cold...wet. Okay...that's football in October...I can live with it. Moving on...the game time was moved from 12:00 to 7:45. The people who schedule these games obviously don't attend them. We got home at 2:00 am. Since when does everyone in front of you stand for the entire game? Why am I paying for a seat when I never sit...but stand...otherwise you can't see the field. Watching the Husky football team was like watching a high school football team...not much talent on either side of the ball...and definitely not worth what I paid. It's gonna be a long season for Dawg fans. The Huskies were lucky the Sun Devils did not beat them by 30 points. Honestly...not very entertaining...on the field or at any other time...boring. The restrooms at Husky stadium...anyone ever clean them? Where's supervision? I've seen bathrooms in Somalia that were cleaner. Get some supervisors off their butts and clean the restrooms! Next time...spend the money on Seahawk tickets...much more fun.
Rating: 4 out of 5 no coffee in any of the refreshment stalls
by Vodka11 on 10/1/14Husky Stadium - SeattleAt half time, I stood in line at 3 different refreshment stalls just to find out when I got to the counter that they ran out of coffee. It was a warm day in Seattle and I wanted some coffee. Unlike many others who had their share of alcoholic beverages in their system, I was looking for coffee to keep myself warm. They should either brew more coffee or put up a sign that says there is no more coffee so fans don't waste their time standing in long lines
Rating: 1 out of 5 ticket master has the stadium map backward
by redinpurplesea on 9/30/14Husky Stadium - Seattleticket master has the stadium map backward and sold us $90+/person seats sitting in Washington Husky territory rather than Stanford Cardinal… we were red in a sea of purple and looked directly across the stadium at all the red people. My daughter cried due to the noise made by the husky fans while trying to disrupt the stanford team…
Rating: 4 out of 5 Love the new stadium.
by LongTimeDawg on 9/30/14Husky Stadium - SeattleTook my son to the UW / Stanford game. While the game was good, the environment was incredible and we had a great time. Absolutely love how they renovated hollowed ground.
Rating: 4 out of 5by Anonymous on 9/30/14Husky Stadium - Seattle Amazing venue, quality product, moderate value. Action feels close, really close.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Great UW-Stanford game!
by ev94em96 on 9/30/14Husky Stadium - SeattleI purchased 2 seats for my dad and stepmom, as a gift for my dad's birthday. He is an alumnus of the University of Washington and hadn't been in their new stadium until this game. THEY HAD A BALL. He said the seats "couldn't get any better," the weather was amazingly sunny and warm for a late September day in Seattle, and although the Huskies fell short of a victory, it was an exciting, close game from start to finish. Ticketmaster made the ticket-buying process super-simple, they came in the mail with plenty of time before the game, and there was no issue at all with me purchasing them and "gifting" them to someone else. A great memory, for sure!
Rating: 5 out of 5 New Husky Stadium
by h20willy on 9/30/14Husky Stadium - SeattleFantastic stadium, perhaps the most beautiful location for a college game in the country. Get ready for some LOUD Fans, it is awesome.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Husky Game
by Anonymous on 9/23/14Husky Stadium - SeattleWe enjoyed the game very much. However, the parking 40.00 per car for two people is very expensive. It would be nice to have the ability to pre-purchase parking at a UW lot at a reduced rate.
Rating: 3 out of 5 First half was great!
by GSU1972 on 9/23/14Husky Stadium - SeattleI believe I was the only Georgia State fan at the game. Husky fans did not know what to make of me!
Rating: 4 out of 5 Surprising Day
by Anonymous on 9/23/14Husky Stadium - SeattleThe accompanying boat ride from Chinooks was a highlight both ways. The game outcome was exciting, seats were good, but other fans were inconsiderate. New stadium is awesome. Overall the day was lots of fun. A game during the regular season, with season ticket holders and students will probably be more pleasant and less stressful. That the game was so uneven, with the Huskies playing poorly in the first half and well in the second was a big surprise, but it turned out well.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Go Dawgs!
by PolS74 on 9/18/14Husky Stadium - SeattleFantastic game. Seats were super. But the best part was the ease with which we picked up our tickets at Will Call. Thanks!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Excelent game and amazing band show
by FedeG on 9/16/14Husky Stadium - SeattleThe game was awesome, with a lot of people that made lot's of noise. Specially when the stadium voice says: "Tird doooooown" hahaha that was amazing. The band performed a big show at the beggining of the game that was also amazing.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Fun for the whole family!
by AnaOlive on 9/10/14Husky Stadium - SeattleI took my mom to her first football game and and we all had a great time! Even though the 300 lvl seats are reeeeally up high, we could see the game just fine. Overall, it was a great experience.
