Totally enjoyed the football game and found U Mass to have many great offensive players. Defense did ok as well. The halftime on band day with the high school bands and the U Mass band was unbelievable. About 4000 musicians playing at halftime; quite a sight. The postgame band performance was excellent as well. Great game and great show. .
The UMass students were out in full force ready to party. There was a serious tailgate situation and everybody was having a great time. Minuteman way was fun to travel through and the general atmosphere felt like college game day. The game was good too!
A nice venue to watch a football game, however the concessions were quite poor. Certainly need to be upgraded.
For some unknown bizarre reason, UMass has chosen the side opposite the press box to be the "home" side. The home fans and the marching band roasted in the sun for the entire game while the "visitors" got to sit in the shade. Absolutely HORRIBLE! In order to watch the 5th quarter marching band presentation we had to RACE to the other side of the stands to watch. As much as I want to be on the "home" side of the stands and be near the marching band, I will never sit there again. Also, how can you have a stadium with no flush toilets????
Weather was great! Atmosphere was a reminder of my days at Zoo Mass in the mid 80' s crazy but controlled. Stadium was packed like I had never seen , longest football game I have ever been at but enjoyed the experience
It was a good game. High scoring on both sides and went down to the very end. Each team had an opportunity to win. We also got a little extra excitement when the temporary video screen fell down!
Great venue for UMASS games. Prices for beer in the stadium are exorbitant, if the vendors carried guns, it would be armed robbery.
Great game until Umass fell apart at the end. Nice location to see a game. Good vantage point from anywhere in the stadium
Good close game until a couple of bad calls by the zebras; changed momentum of the game and ultimately the outcome. Both sides could have played better but they were pretty evenly matched.
Reasonably priced tickets, free parking --- how can you go wrong? Great game, UMass more than held it's own and showed real life and hope for the rest of the season. The only disappointment was the crowd of less than 11,000. I'm a UMass Dad and proud of the progress I've seen over 2+ seasons.
Watching UMASS play at Gillette is a game worth going to! The Minutemen are making strides this year and the new coaching is apparent. Seeing the game in this stadium is a great experience excellent seats for short monry
The team arrived with a splendid spirit, and that spirit never dissipated throughout the game.
Great time! Looking forward to the next meeting between these teams. Good game, good friends and good food after, what more could you want. A win, oh well maybe next year. Either way its a great family time!
First time attending a college game loved it .its different then nfl lots of activities going on
Even though UMass lost, it was still a ton of fun to go and experience a game at Gillette for a cheap price and good seats!

Seats were great, the game was great..our team won. BUT the concession prices at Gillette Stadium are out of control. Just awful!! Now I don't feel so bad not having Patriots season tickets ...and I thought BC's concession prices were sky high! Not fair to the fans at all. Imagine $6 + for a Dunkin Donuts medium ice coffee?? Just to name one outrageous price. 2. The acoustics in Gillette were awful. When the UMass band was performing pre-game and halftime none of us could hear the band at all. The PA system of pop music was loud but nothing on the field was audible.
From the UMass standpoint, improved play from previous two seasons but more is needed. My expectations are higher when conference play begins. New QB brings spark to passing game. Fans need to get into it more, especially when UMass is on defense. Enjoyable experience, can't beat the free parking.
Great tailgate, walked right to our awesome cheap seats. Can't wait to go to another one
We had a great time at the game. The problem came after the game. When we went to get our car in the parking lot, we could not believe it. There was broken glass everywhere from the tailgating. You could not drive out of the parking lot without driving over broken glass. That is totally unnecessary! I can't believe they make you bring clear bags and wand you when you go through the gates to get into the stadium, yet they allow glass bottles in the parking lot! If we go to another game, we will definately find another place to park.
