University of Central Florida Knights Football History
Varsity football didn't come to UCF until 1979, when the Knights joined the NCAA's Division III. By 1996, UCF ascended to the NCAA's top division, becoming the first program to play at all levels of college football. In short order, the Black and Gold became an unlikely national contender. In 2004, under new coach George O'Leary, UCF went 0-11. Over his next 10 seasons in Orlando, the team went to seven bowl games, including a 52-42 Fiesta Bowl victory over Baylor, which capped a 2013 season in which the Knights went 12-1 and undefeated in conference play.
In 2017, under coach Scott Frost, the Knights swept the regular season, won their conference championship game over Memphis in double overtime, and beat No. 7 Auburn in the Peach Bowl, 34-27 — the first undefeated season in school history. The following year, the Knights went 12-1, their only loss coming against LSU in the Fiesta Bowl. That game ended UCF's 25-game winning streak. The Knights have made a bowl game in nearly every season under head coach Gus Malzahn up until his final season in 2024.

University of Central Florida Knights at Acrisure Bounce House
Located just northeast of downtown Orlando, Acrisure Bounce House has been the Knights' home since 2007. It quickly earned the nickname "The Bounce House" thanks to vibrations produced whenever fans jumped in unison, and the title was officially added to the stadium’s official name in 2025. Come out a couple hours before kickoff and greet the players during their Knight Walk from IOA Plaza. Ninety minutes before kickoff, you can join the marching band and the spirit team near Knights Plaza for the fan march to the stadium. And when "Kernkraft 400” by Zombie Nation comes on the speakers at the game, be sure to bounce.

Championship Review
by Terlingua on 12/6/10Bright House Networks Stadium - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5Great game. UCF dominated the clock and made the Mustangs play between the 20's most of the game. The UCF offense looked good in the first half but was flat in the second. If they play like that against Georgia the outcome will probably come out different. This is the fourth bowl game for UCF. It is time to bring home the "bacon". They can do it, but they will have to play the entire game and not be intimidated by Georgia. My three sons and I plan on attending the Liberty Bowl so I hope it is a winner!!!!!
Congratulations to UCF!!!
by Daeinstein on 12/6/10Bright House Networks Stadium - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5UCF Conference Champions!! Congratulations to the entire team for a job well done!!! Cheers to another great season. The entire UCF football team played very good firing on all cylinders. This all goes without saying congratulations to Latavius Murray for his accomplishments and winning the MVP of the game.

C-USA Championship
by Christmasteve on 12/6/10Bright House Networks Stadium - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5It was a pretty good game, although there was too many commercial breaks. Our seats were good & UCF won. Parking is always a hassle at these things, but we parked close & made a nice walk to our seats. The Bright House Stadium is pretty new, so it is still clean. We will go back next year.

NOT REALLY WORTH THE MONEY
by Footballguy on 12/6/10Bright House Networks Stadium - OrlandoRating: 2 out of 5My girlfriend and I went to the game to support our school. It was an avarge event; kind of boring actually. UCF won, but the game was slow. Lots of half-naked, drunk dudes everywhere. Not the best day ever, but OKAY I guess.
Awesome Game, Awesome Outcome!

A fun day in great weather despite the tv driven noon start in the florida sun. Enthusiastic crowd supported an up and coming program. One drawback. Parked in general parking and had to walk about a mile or so to stadium. Empty shuttle buses abundent but didn't pick up.
UCF needs to be noticed
by Anonymous on 11/16/10Bright House Networks Stadium - OrlandoRating: 2 out of 5The game was great and the young people were so very well behave/polite - I was impressed. (I'm from Colorado and thats what I was compairing to, but Nebraska season ticket holder) UCF does need a better Will Call system. It would be nice if all concession stand stated they are cash only.
ucf fan tiket awesome
by aceran40 on 11/15/10Bright House Networks Stadium - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5The game was very good, except for the UCF loss, the hotdog and coke was very good, popcorn was stale, but can't beat the price.
ucf needs a new coach
by Anonymous on 11/15/10Bright House Networks Stadium - OrlandoRating: 3 out of 5coaching is dismal. they have the talent, not the teamwork. hope they get it together for the next two games.
