About

Few bands in rock music history have reached the level of superstardom (and have maintained the staying power) of Dublin-based band U2. Due to a winning combination of innovative, ever-evolving songwriting, spectacular live shows, and front-man Bono's penchant for political/humanitarian endeavors, U2 have managed to remain an A-list act since emerging onto the music scene with their debut album Boy in 1980. With phenomenal album sales (every album they've released since 1987's The Joshua Tree has hit Billboard's number one spot), a plethora of hit singles ("New Years Day, " "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Pride," "I Still haven't Found What I'm looking For," "With or Without You," "Mysterious Ways," Beautiful Day," -- and the list goes on) U2 have established themselves as the premier rock band of the 1980s and far beyond. Their sound has evolved from post-punk (guitarist The Edge created a signature sound with his sweeping, delay-heavy guitar work), to arena rock, to blues-inspired rock, to electronic/techno pop and back again. With their 2005 release, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2 treat fans to sounds both classic and new-- reminding us exactly why these Dubliners have managed to become one of the most successful bands in rock history.

Sphere - Great Unless You are at back of lower level

by Andrew G on 3/5/24Sphere - Las Vegas

I had seats in lower level. thought they would be great. They were expensive$500. We could not see 90% of the sphere. Ticketmaster should have disclosd this and the seats should have been a different price. Would have been much better sitting on 2nd level.

    AMAZING!!!!

by Izzy on 3/5/24Sphere - Las Vegas

The most amazing visual/audio/hepatic concert or event I have ever seen!!!! U2 projected on the severe wall made it feel like they were an arm length away no matter where you were seated, the sun quality was crisp and every details could be heard, unlike other concerts where the music is just blaring loud, and for those sitting in the hepatic chairs it felt like the entire building was shaking when they were activated!!!! I don't know how I can go to another concert after experiencing the best of the best! I highly recommend trying to sphere at least once!!!! U2 was amazing as always!

    ATOMIC

by Emma D on 3/5/24Sphere - Las Vegas

I have seen U2 a few times over the years and was fortunate to see them in Dec at the Sphere. I thought that it was a brilliant night, so good in fact I decided to book another and it had to be the closing night 2nd March. Well what can I say this night blew everything I had seen by them and any other artist away. Bonos vocals were on point, The Edges guitar playing was electric, Adams bass playing vibrating you from head to toe and Bram doing an amazing job filling in for Larry (big boots to fill) but he brought cheek, good humour and without doubt an amazing beat. Apologies to the people behind me as I didn’t sit down the moment the show started but everything about that night was just on fire, the atmosphere, the band and most importantly the audience. When 40 was played at the end and the audience myself included continued to sing “how long to sing this song”, I had goosebumps, I felt like crying in all honesty if that was to be my last night on Earth I could have gone gladly (a bit dramatic but I think you get my point). For everyone who didn’t get to go you missed a treat and hopefully some bigger, better or even more atomic will happen next. I genuinely don’t know what the further may hold for concerts of any calibre but wish them well as high standards have been set.

    U2 at the Sphere

by Merri on 3/5/24Sphere - Las Vegas

I have been to thousands of concerts but nothing ever like this. I don't have words - I just don't have words. Everyone should go to a concert at the Sphere. Unfortunately we saw U2's last concert there but I'm sure they will have plenty of great performers over the years. It is incredible!!

    Difficult to put into words...

by Skyler on 3/5/24Sphere - Las Vegas

This was such an amazing experience and so good that we ended up going twice! I was truly blown away from the moment you walk in the door, the smell, the sound, the whole deal is truly out of this world.

    Worth Every Penny

by Bart Bardo on 3/4/24Sphere - Las Vegas

I was fortunate enough to see U2 twice during their time at Sphere, first with my best friend and then with my wife, traveling from Indiana. The venue is first class and everything about the shows were terrific. I think anyone who has a favorite group that may permform at Sphere should make it a bucket list item. For me, this is the concert and venue that all future concerts will be judged against.

    An experience of a lifetime!

by Best concert ever! on 3/4/24Sphere - Las Vegas

The venue was unreal! The sound was clear and moving, the view was good even from the cheap seats and the seats vibrated! Everyone we walked by was attentive and there was a shop for souvenirs on each level! Outstanding!!

    Amazing

by Lifelong Fan on 3/4/24Sphere - Las Vegas

Come on, it’s U2. It was amazing from start to finish. The sphere is just the cherry on top. The technology made the experience feel much more intimate, surprisingly.

    Mind blowing

    by U2 on 3/4/24Sphere - Las Vegas

The visuals are extraordinary and the music was perfection. I feel this experience will ruin all future concerts for me. It felt like a true experiecne that I would want to relive over and over again. Sadly U2 residency is over, but it will always remain as a magical experience.

    U2 at the Sphere

by ChloeS on 3/4/24Sphere - Las Vegas

If I could give a rating of 10 stars, I would! U2 as always, was amazing but as a show at the Sphere, it was mind blowing. My only regret is that I didn't go months ago so that I could return to LV for another show. I went on March 1st, the second to last concert they played at the Sphere.

Great show. Unreal venue but too cramped!

by Jamlank on 3/4/24Sphere - Las Vegas

U2 was phenomenal. Sounded as good as ever! And the sphere is unreal! 50% of the experience was the band and the other 50% was the venue which is really cool. The seats are very cramped together and it’s very difficult to get out of your aisle to go for a drink in the middle of the show.

    U2 rocks at the Sphere!

by Liz on 3/4/24Sphere - Las Vegas

The place is amazing, and U2 performance was exceptional. I was hoping they played Pride and Sunday bloody Sunday but they left these two songs out, not sure why. The lights and all the visual effects at the Spehere along with U2 made the evening unforgettable.

    Overpriced tickets

by U2 Fan on 3/4/24Sphere - Las Vegas

I love U2 and was excited to see them at the Sphere. We got tickets under the overhang when they were first released. When we arrived we could not see any of the sphere ceiling. These tickets should be severely reduced in price since all we could see was the stage but were not that close. I understand it’s a new, expensive venue. But, charge accordingly for an obstructed view…should not have paid the same as those with unobstructed view. Felt gouged after not having a “Sphere” concert experience. U2 was amazing but would’ve paid less for a better view anywhere else. We could not see U2 up close and yet could not see the enlarged visuals either since everything was above our visual range. Do not buy tickets under the overhang if you want to experience any of the Sphere visuals.
