    I love Type O Negative...

by TypeOFan on 10/28/09Masquerade - Atlanta

and they did not disappoint. I saw them last 9 years ago in Colorado Springs and they are only getting better with age. The have the best music and even played an additional half hour - ending with a Black # 1 encore. I definitely recommend anyone who likes Type O to see them live.

They were great. The only bad thing was the idiot moshers kept hitting the people that were wanting to enjoy the show.

Type O Negative made my eardrums bleed

by Insomniac666 on 10/25/09Northern Lights - Clifton Park

Great show! They performed several songs off their new album Dead Again. Also played some of the staples like "Love You To Death," and "Christian Woman." Concluded the evening with "Black No. 1." Have always wanted to see them live, and they definitely lived up to all my expectations.

    Great Type O show

by Fr0sT on 10/25/09Northern Lights - Clifton Park

Northern Lights is a large venue with plenty of parking. Type O Negative put together a great setlist and executed the songs well. Been a fan of theirs for many many years. Will definitely be attending any their future shows.

"You Suck! You Suck! You Suck!" The fans chant...

    by ShadowedLight84 on 10/25/09Crocodile Rock - Allentown

The sarcastic relationship between the fans and the band and the fans themselves are one of the unique qualities of what makes this band so damn great! As a die hard Type O fan for several years now, I have attended six of their shows, and had the front row in each and everyone. This was a beyond experience concert that had the volume turned all the way up and grew louder as the show progressed ( second loudest band I've ever seen, and I've seen many) and the quaility of play and production were well rounded and was virtually flawless. I antisipate their return as I will be again, in the front row!!!

Type O has still got it

by hfordno1 on 10/25/09Northern Lights - Clifton Park

Saw Type O Negative last night. Hadn't seen them in 8 years. They haven't lost a beat over the years. They played a great set and still know how to have fun on stage and interacting with the crowd. You could tell everyone was more than happy to be there. The crowd reaction throughout the show was tremendous. Well worth what I paid. Better than paying a $100 or $200 on some overpriced act that doesn't live up to they hype.

by JulieBone on 10/24/09Nokia Theatre Times Square - New York

I have to admit that last year's show at Terminal 5 was disappointing but the band was spot on this time around! The sound was great and they played really well. Best I've seen em in a while.

    Worst concert I've seen

by Anonymous on 10/24/09Crocodile Rock - Allentown

The opening bands were decent; Distrophy had a lot of energy. I've been to a lot of concerts and seen Type O twice before & they were awesome. This show was not. Peter Steele seemed out of it and needed a music stand that he kept looking at for the lyrics and music. He seemed a little more with it when he was joking around with the crowd. I will never go to another show at this venue. There was no air circulating and they didn't open any doors. It was so hot in there I almost passed out (and I wasn't drinking or on drugs). For the first time ever, we actually left before the show was even over.

Type O was anything but Negative

by Metaldawg on 10/24/09Crocodile Rock - Allentown

What can be said - Seventh Void was a sweet treat to see in person. Seeing Kenny and Johnny do something that was not TON was a a refreshing sight to behold. Seventh Void is awesome! Destrophy was the shocker of the evening, as I'd never heard of them, much less heard them. They were tight and raw. Exceptional performance. Type O was phenomenal. Everyone was spot on, in tune, on time and tight as Johnny Kelly's snare head. The sound was a bit overdriven, but the performance was fantastic. The setlist was a nice mixture of everything (except Slow, Deep and Hard) and was well put together. It flowed like red wine on cool autumnal evening. It was amazing. First 50 people to buy merch got meet-n-greet passes. The band was awesome to meet, they are all so down to earth, friendly, and there were no egos at all. Also, Scott was very tight and, although not Josh, he was a good fit for the band. He was very nice and humble after the gig also.

Type O is amazing as always

by chirality on 10/24/09Crocodile Rock - Allentown

Type O always delivers a amazing show! This is the 7th time seeing them, 3rd at Croc Rock. I always love Type O, I don't always love the venue. I have seen them at the Troc in Philly before also and that is a much better show. If you are short, the Croc is not for you. Croc Rock has limited seating, bathrooms far away and a separation bar between 21 and under. It was hot, unbearably so and the people can be rude and have no concept of personal space. Type O as I said before delivered an amazing show as always and I love their Halloween tours.
