    TYPE O - starland 10/16/09

    Starland Ballroom is a nice venue. Plenty of space, and a bar is always nearby. My big complaint for the show is that the sound sucked! The kick drum was totally overpowering everything else in the mix. I mean, i want to hear some thunder, but it was ridiculous. At first i thought it was the fault of the openers' soundguy, but then Type O's soundman mixed the kick drum just as high. Type O played some good classic tunes, and the other bands were entertaining.

    Kicked ASS!! All the bands were great, but Core Device and Type O Negative kicked the crowd's ass. I haven't seen Type O in 15 years and they still put on an awesome live performance.
