One of the best shows I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. He has developed such a stage presence and his voice is better than ever.
Great show. Great venue. Prices on food and drinks are horrible!!! Highway robbery.
The wait was worth it... Tyler Childers is one best musicians and song writers out there today. What a great show!!
Everything from the vocals to the performance were amazing. The visuals on the screen were out of this world. Overall a great concert.
this was one of the best concerts i’ve ever been to!! tyler was great and so were the openers!
For the price of the tickets the seating was horrible. The show was sold out and there was not enough seating for the amount of people. The grass seating was at such an incline I felt like I was going to fall the entire time. Tyler put on an amazing show, but unfortunately I couldn't enjoy it and dance because I thought I was going to tumble and fall the whole show. The venue was a huge venue and with the price of the ticket I thought it would be a more intimate show.
Fantastic seats wonderful crowd Tyler Childers is an amazing story teller
Overall awesome experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tyler has a few albums and other recordings available, but none of them gave his live performance justice! It was AMAZING!!! Oh by the way Charlie Crockett was great too! He didn’t get much love from the crowd. But I loved him and his band!!!
Fantastic Tyler and Charley concert, perfect billing. Unfortunately the video camera and operator blocked most of the show. Surely they could use a remote camera at the venue if they have to put one right in front of the artist?
We were eager to hear his originals - Nose on the Grindstone, Feathered Indians, Charleston Girl, etc. but not one of the above were played. All of his new stuff, which is good, but that’s not what made us love his music in the first place. Look at his Spotify top 5 - all of those should have been played no question. Total bummer. Also, we were expecting him to play some like his old concerts - just him and his guitar or the banjo, so that was another big bummer. Too much of his new stuff not enough of his original stuff
Tyler Childers was AMAZING live! He started off the show singing with just his guitar and he sounded so good. Then his band came out and they rocked for the next hour plus. the energy he brings to his show is felt throughout the crowd as we all sang along to every word. Cannot wait to see him again!
Tyler Childers was absolutely amazing at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley! Such a talented singer and band. The venue was beautiful. A night to remember forever!
He’s an amazing musician overall. His voice is flawless and you can feel the emotion when he sings. Unfortunately, he didn’t play half of the songs we were excited to hear, so by the end of the night we were a bit disappointed having paid $500 without hearing those.
I've seen TTC twice, once at red rocks and in AZ, AZ is by far the worst crowd of people I have ever attended with at a concert. I am an AZ native, these people in the pit were mean, pushing you around to steal your spot, screaming and yelling at people for no reason, just down outright rude nasty people. Also don't be surprised if he does not sing your favorites. You pay a lot of money to hear many songs he has not recorded or that he is covering for another band. The financial theatre is a great venue, clean, small, great workers, easy bathroom access with no long lines.
Great concert. Tyler is amazing and passionate. Venue could have been a little cooler, it got pretty muggy/ warm towards the end. But Tyler made up for it.
Tyler Childers and his band were fantastic! As a 61 yr. old man who plays guitar and appreciates roots music, I was the "old guy", but truly enjoyed his talent and energy. Sometimes live performances are a disappointment - Tyler's was impressive! I would rate him 11 stars if I could. Sadly, so many people around us were holding conversations during Tyler's songs. Especially during his solo acoustic set, I never heard a word he spoke between songs, and barely heard the songs themselves. I was willing to pay nearly $300 per ticket for my son/daughter and myself to be close to the stage in the pit, but after listening to so many rude people talk through his songs I believe I made a mistake. Finally, bad weather cut things short (and ruined the night for John R Miller). I will NOT attend another concert in a venue that can be affected by the weather, especially in Dallas, TX in the springtime. Tyler, thank you for a wonderful performance. Please keep writing these beautiful, heartfelt songs!
Venue was clean, organized and the staff were friendly.
To start off, I noticed that Tyler had honey on the stage with him. Based off of his power with his voice, and the fact that he did not let up even a little bit on the belting notes and doing that little screech, he does that we all love, no one would have ever known that he had a sore throat. I cannot recommend seeing him live enough. If you are a fan, see him live if you get the chance!!
From making attendees wait over two hours for someone to come on to canceling the concert a few songs into the evening, this concert experience was far below average. It felt like the artist came on for a few songs so they wouldn’t be able to cancel the show and have to refund the attendees their money. I am doubtful if I will ever attend another show at this venue during spring. Waste of money.
