About

Tyler Childers is carving his own path in country music. Following the success of his 2017 breakout album Purgatory, the Kentucky-born singer-songwriter has earned 11 career Grammy nominations across folk, Americana, and country categories. Childers' 2025 release, Snipe Hunter, marked his seventh studio album; across the record, he weaves Appalachian storytelling with elements of rock and gospel. Childers remains connected to his Appalachian roots through his Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund, which he established in 2020 with his wife, singer-songwriter Senora May, to bring awareness and financial support to vulnerable communities.

  • I waited 5 years for this

by Tyler MF Childers on 8/6/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This was hands down, the best concert I’ve ever been to!! I work in the industry and I’ve never seen or heard a show that was this amazing! This man has used his time to create the PERFECT concert experience for his fans! (and all without backup dancers) Radio City is a terrific venue and that just added an extra layer of excellence.

  • Amazing show. Amazing artist.

by Janet on 8/6/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Tyler is so genuine! Beautiful set. Orchestra was fantastic also!

  • Fun ensamble of entertainment performers

by Manhattan Viewer 200 on 8/6/23Rating: 4 out of 5

The concert was pretty great. There were a lot of good seats available and the fans were nice. Radio City Hall is a good venue, much more affordable than MSG. Tyler was a great performer. He spoke a lot during the concert and gave a lot of props to those that have been with him from the beginning. Tyler’s concerts are certainly best enjoyed in more intimate settings.

  • Amazing! Awesome! Indescribable!

by LO on 8/6/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Tyler Childers is absolutely amazing! He sounds exactly the same in person as he does on the radio. I would see him 100 times over! I’ve been to 100s of concert and he is number 1 for sure. If you haven’t seen him you must!!!

  • Super well done!

  • Tyler and the band were amazing! The venue was beautiful.

    by Jess F on 8/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing! Venue was beautiful. Only issue was the drink lines were extremely long. Not enough bars to keep up with the demand for drinks.

  • Fantastic!

by LeeLee on 8/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Loved Tyler Childers and Elle King was a bonus. Radio City Music Hall was a fabulous venue. Small enough to be a great seat wherever you were. Tyler Childers owned that stage for 2 hours, he played and sang with his whole heart and soul. Tickets were reasonable, I'd definitely go see him again and definitely go back to RCMH!

  • Best Concert Ever

by Logan on 8/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to! Tyler was amazing and so raw and real. Elle King is a total badass and did a great job opening the show!

  • 11/10

by Michelle E. on 6/28/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Tyler was amazing. Cannot recommend enough. Seen him twice, will see him endlessly. Parking at this venue is abysmal. It took 2 hours to leave the parking lot.

  • Ride share/traffic management failure

by Jimmy on 6/25/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

Riverport traffic management and ride share area is poorly marked. Sure there is a sign "dropoff at gate 5", but the gate signs are 4' off the ground and smaller than a stop sign. Pickup is atrocious. Drivers rerouted to gate 5, but no signage leaving venue on where gate 5 is in the rush to leave! Also, what happend to the massive, ultra convenient men's urinal trough@ that used to be behind the porta-poties along the north side? Totally shortsided to remove those. Also, the lost-and-found tent has zero signage (hint, it's the 1st aid tent).

  • Spiritual Experience

by Jenna on 6/19/23Armory - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

From the venue to the opener to Tyler, the whole experience was amazing. The show was captivating and spiritual, couldn’t recommend it more!

  • This man oozes talent

by Mandy on 6/19/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Tyler put his heart and soul into every song he performed. He sang only originals and his band was phenomenal.

  • Great show, great songwriter

by Sensi on 6/17/23Armory - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Everything that I wanted it to be with incredible songs, great opener in Marcus King, and a rousing performance for young and old alike

  • Incredible!!

by Candydawnl on 6/17/23Armory - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Tyler Childers is so incredibly talented and amazing live. We traveled from Canada to see him and it was worth every penny. Marcus King was also great!

  • A show to remember

by Becca on 6/13/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

What an absolutely fabulous show The sound was amazing as was Tyler’s voice and band ! Best night ever

  • Tyler Childers

by Carmel85 on 6/13/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

Concert was great! The only improvement I would suggest is the venue put porta potties at the top of the lawn. Having to walk down causes you to miss more of the show than necessary.

  • Spectacular

by Scotty G on 6/13/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

It was an amazing concert! One of my top 3 concerts for sure! Acoustic was right on point at the beginning! The end gave everyone goosebumps! Such a humble man!! TY Tyler for coming to STL!!

  • Amazing

by Mmonroe on 6/13/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

From the openers to the main act, there was nothing but pure talent. Enjoyed it from beginning to end and was sad it was over.
