About

Tyler Childers is carving his own path in country music. Following the success of his 2017 breakout album Purgatory, the Kentucky-born singer-songwriter has earned 11 career Grammy nominations across folk, Americana, and country categories. Childers' 2025 release, Snipe Hunter, marked his seventh studio album; across the record, he weaves Appalachian storytelling with elements of rock and gospel. Childers remains connected to his Appalachian roots through his Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund, which he established in 2020 with his wife, singer-songwriter Senora May, to bring awareness and financial support to vulnerable communities.

  • Love Tyler Childers, seating was terrible

by Love Tyler Childers, seating was terrible on 8/22/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Love, love, love Tyler Childers but the stadium seating at the Credit One Stadium was terrible. You had about a square foot space, you will become really friendly with your neighbors on all sides. The Colliseum is definitely a better venue for a concert.

  • Great show!

by Carolina Girl on 8/22/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Tyler Childers is so talented. It was an honor to see him perform live. He played, sang, and even got choked up talking about his baby boy. I just love him.

Tyler is truly unique. His blend of bluegrass, country and americana is pure heart and soul. The sound was perfect and the venue was fantastic with one exception. The exit traffic was absolutely insane.

  • Best Concert Ever!!!

by BrandiGilbert on 8/19/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Tyler really outdone himself. I've never been to a concert where the artist sounds so great and is genuinely just themselves. He played for over two hours and you could tell he just wanted the spotlight to be on the music, not himself. He even gave his band members time to shine. They just don't make them like this anymore. Would pay good money to see him over and over again!

  • Amazing experience

by Kerri on 8/19/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show, amazing man, amazing voice. Would absolutely see him again!!!

  • Great show, venue was lacking

by Soco on 8/19/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Tyler and his band put on one heck of a show but the venue… firstly their website and the own rules they emailed out said “no large umbrellas” yet when we got to the gate our 6in compact umbrellas were confiscated. Furthermore to receive them at the end of the show we had to go through a specific exit (stage right), down steep stairs littered with trash and a huge bottle neck of concert goers. Myself and others expressed concerns over *if an emergency happened we would all be trapped waiting for the stairs to clear.

  • Amazing

by LisaJ on 8/18/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The show was absolutely amazing. We cannot wait wit to go again and we enjoyed every second of the show! Definitely be sure to see him, you won’t be disappointed!
