About

Tycho is embarking on their first headlining tour since 2020. Following the release of Weather in 2019, the band returns to their roots, delivering their signature blend of electronic dance music and melody-driven instrumental post-rock. Scott Hansen's creative vision, delicate melodies, and mesmerizing soundscapes take on new energy in the live setting, thanks to the incredible drumming of Rory O'Connor and an immersive visual experience. With guitarist/bassist Zac Brown and multi-instrumentalist Billy Kim rounding out the lineup, Tycho has been captivating fans for over a decade.

I flew 1000 miles to see Tycho and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

  • Awesome show!

My second time seeing Tycho live and it was amazing. Music is awesome as always, and the visuals really add to the experience. If you like this kind of music, do yourself a favor and go If you have the chance. You won't regret it.

  • Return of Tycho

by SA on 7/16/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Beautiful sonic landscapes His signature melodies repeating and permutating in each track His band was in excellent synchrony and the visuals beautifully choreographed to each track His new music was surprisingly uptempo and inspiring My only regret is that he skipped “Daydream”

  • Wonderful & chill without putting you to sleel

    by C. B. on 5/1/22Rating: 5 out of 5

I saw them when they opened for Interpol. Favorite artist of the night. I didn't realize they'd have live instruments for the performance and was a delight watching everyone play.

  • Perfect evening

by J. M. on 6/6/21Blue Note Napa at Charles Krug Winery - St. HelenaRating: 5 out of 5

The event felt entirely safe and was so enjoyable! Great venue, open lawn next to the vineyard, free parking in open field right at the venue, clean portapotties. Good food in prepackaged containers (we enjoyed shrimp ceviche with homemade chips and a pulled pork sandwich on fresh ciabatta with coleslaw) and great wine. Two person tables distanced. Ordering app at each table was so easy. Music was perfect (love Tycho!!!) and sound was the perfect level, even for us sitting in the front. Staff was excellent. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

  • Just incredible

by Rachel on 10/4/19EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

I went to see Tycho at Express Live! In Columbus, OH. The venue was immaculate! The parking was an open attached lot, the venue was clean and organized. Tycho was outstanding. They played so many songs and they were pitch perfect! I cant wait to go to another Tycho concert, it was better than i even imagined.

  • Absolutely loved it.

by Libby on 9/30/19The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

He played a mix of old and new and brought out his vocalist from the new album. She was great.

  • Amazing

    by R. on 9/29/19The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

This show was very chill, the crowd was nice, the service was quick and felt very personable.

  • Wonderful visuals and instrumentals

by SgtK on 9/29/19The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

The live version of the Weather album songs with vocals are superior to the studio mix. The vocals were more part of the songs rather than dominating them and covering up the amazing instrumentals.

  • Went in expecting greatness and was blown away!

by Docradi on 9/27/19The Fillmore Detroit presented by Cricket Wireless - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

This was such a fantastic show. I was surprised that even though they are on tour for the new album, they started with old music first and played all my favorite songs. The AV lightshow was great! Loved Saint Sinner as well, she was in top form. Literally one of the best shows I've ever seen. If you have a chance to see these guys, please do so. I guarantee you'll love it!

  • So good!

by Alex on 9/27/19EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Tycho has been a favorite of mine for years, and seeing them live was transcendent. They do a great job on stage. Vocals with the new album and singer will take a little getting used to, but I loved it all.

  • First time visit

by TheMalcMan on 9/27/19EXPRESS LIVE! - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

We hadn’t been to Express Live before but at similar venues have always opted to buy seats when available. That was the case for this show. However these seats were located where only the front of the stage could be seen. This was ok for Poolside who opened with a great set. When they were setting up for Tycho it was apparent that our seats were useless so along with some others ended up watching the wonderful set standing in the rear of the balcony. So I give 4 stars overall but the venue needs to tell buyers about obstructed view seats.

  • Awesome event!!

  • THE BEST BAND OF ALL TIME

by Gerald (Jb) Vance III on 9/24/19Rating: 5 out of 5

This band's music has saved my life more times than I can count. It is almost a religious experience to see them live. Don't take my word for it, experience them for yourselves. There is noone else out there like them.

  • So great!

by Raser on 9/23/19Franklin Music Hall - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Brought my 15 year old son as well (a Porter/Madeon fan) and he loved it too! What a great show. Tycho musicians were as tight and precise as ever and Saint Sinner is a beautiful, mesmerizing addition to the music. Compliments to Scott and the visuals team as well. Perfect visual/light compliments to the Tycho music that had us both fist-bumping throughout!

  • Terrible sound at Meridian Hall

by Toronto on 9/19/19Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

Tycho is incredible. I've seen him and his band perform at so many different venues. Meridian hall was by far the worst. The sound was completely off. We had seats up in the Orchestra and had to cover our ears for the first few songs because the frequency was so harsh. We eventually moved to the lower bowl at the back but it wasn't much better. We ended up leaving early. I've lived in Toronto my whole life and I will likely never return to this venue for any musical performance.

  • Amazing show!

by Eugene on 9/19/19Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

We got high before the concert and the music, light show and overall performance were out of this world amazing!
