About

Tycho is embarking on their first headlining tour since 2020. Following the release of Weather in 2019, the band returns to their roots, delivering their signature blend of electronic dance music and melody-driven instrumental post-rock. Scott Hansen's creative vision, delicate melodies, and mesmerizing soundscapes take on new energy in the live setting, thanks to the incredible drumming of Rory O'Connor and an immersive visual experience. With guitarist/bassist Zac Brown and multi-instrumentalist Billy Kim rounding out the lineup, Tycho has been captivating fans for over a decade.

    by Elementofplay on 4/28/25Channel 24 - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

My third time seeing Tycho live and this was there best show. They just sounded great. The venue is super nice. The opening acts were great. The whole vibe was awesome. Such a cool crowd everyone around me was so nice. Made some new friends as well. Very happy I went. Thank you!

  • Great perfomance???

by Machey on 3/7/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Yes, tycho in KOKO London 6.3.2025: supposed start 19.00...we waited, nothing happening till 20.05--two guys start to play home-made techno for 35 minutes; Then still waiting. You could get angry, really. Then finally 21:10 Tycho band shows up. Nobody worries about you come from around London and maybe need comeback resonable hour for nex day going to work. So with friens we took off about 22.00. Thats all about Tycho live. I thought some band member lost in London.Waiting two hours on spot for your favorite electro-instrumental artist??? Please.Plesae.

  • Absolutely stunning show

Honestly, one of the best shows I've seen. Incredible sound, beautiful lights and projection, just a completely moving night.

  • Cool experience; too loud at times

by Matt on 1/11/25House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5

Been listening to Tycho for years and was excited to see them in person at my local venue (HOB in Orlando). Glad they played a mix of songs I knew and ones I didn't. The visuals and lighting also really added to the experience. My one complaint was that the volume was so high on a few numbers that it was overpowering to the point where I couldn't make out what was being played. I get that it needs to be louder to be heard, but it was very crunchy. Also, for those looking to see them in the future, I wasn't aware that there would be an opening act, which lasted about an hour. Tycho then performed for a little over an hour, including two encore numbers. I'd see them again, but am also wiser.

  • awesome concert

    by S D on 12/9/24The Wilma - MissoulaRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I've been listening to Tycho for many years but this was my first time seeing them in concert. Loved that they started off the concert playing "Montana"--- nice touch. The whole ebb and flow of their music was amazing to experience in person. Great venue for it, too.

  • Incredible Talent of 1 Perfectly Performed By 4

by StillGoingStrong on 11/18/24The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The impressive talent of Scott Hansen translates very well into a live band. The SaltShed in Chicago was a remarkable venue adding to the experience. I was surprised to see some of the notes, that I was so certain to come out of a keyboard, were actually delivered on the guitar. This fascinated me. I actually learned a few tricks that night. Of course I immediately tried to duplicate them the next day. As a true sign of appreciation. I haven't been moved like that in a long time. That alone verified to me that we witnessed pure sonic creativity.

  • Good downtempo but not sure for a concert.

by No more downtemp concerts for me on 11/18/24The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Tycho is a great musician however the opening acts were not very good and by the time Tycho came on (way late) it was a snooze fest. I am saddened I wasted money. The music is more fit for studying or getting ready for bed versus going to a concert to dance.

  • Seeing Tycho live was everything I thought it would be

by Lawrence on 11/7/24White Oak Music Hall - Downstairs - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

I was reviewing my Ticketmaster emails and noticed Tycho was coming soon to Houston so I immediately bought tickets. They have been a fave of mine and upon reading other reviews, I read they have good visuals so we arrived to the venue on time and got a spot up front to watch. It was exactly what I imagined it would be and more. I can't wait for them to come to Houston again!

  • Great Music Great Venue

by grateful4music on 11/7/24White Oak Music Hall - Downstairs - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

I gave it 5 stars because I really like Tycho, the light show, and I really like the venue. The music was phenomenal. The venue was great. I wish we knew that there was a warm up band. Site said doors open at 7, then another site said the bar code would be scanned at 8, so that was a bit confusing. Also, we did not hear our favorite song Japan. Other than that, it was a great experience!

  • Amazing Experience

by LL on 11/2/24The Sound - Del MarRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the ambience of the venue. Opening band was enjoyable. Tycho was just amazing in every way. I was hoping to hear "Dive", but they played "A Walk", which I appreciated. Visuals accompanying the show were nice, crowd was enthusiastic. I look forward to seeing another show at some point. Thanks for coming through!
