  • Wonderful show

by Dany Soledade on 12/30/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

It was a magical experience. Great performance, amazing music and lots of fun. I was picked to go to stage while they were performing and it was just perfect. If you've never been to Cirque du Soleil, don't miss the chance to enjoy this experience.

  • HUGE disappointment

by Rosemary on 12/30/24Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

Waste of money, and waste of an evening during the holidays. We've seen many Cirque shows over the years, in various cities, and have never before been so disappointed. This was their "B"Team doing a cute but repetitive dance routine. Even the costumes were mediocre. Not the fault of the dancers! I would hold the director/producer/choreographer responsible for this epic fail. Quite simply, there was very little that resembled "Cirque du Soleil"about this show- they sold us a cheaply produced dance show under the Cirque brand, and I may not trust Cirque ever again. What a shame.

  • Festive

by BB on 12/30/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Great entertainment, amazing acrobatics, and colorful costuming. Also loved the venue at the Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte.

  • Great show but overpriced

by slightly disappointed on 12/30/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great show. My daughter loved it. My wife and I saw them under the big tent quite a few years ago and it was much better. Probably due to having more space versus seeing them at the Met. It was a good show, but IMHO wasn't worth the money for what we spent on tickets.

  • Fantastic entertainment

by Drew on 12/30/24Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

If you’ve never been to the Fox, you’re missing out. The venue is just beyond compare. It’s very enjoyable no matter where you sit. The performance was fantastic. This group displays athleticism rarely seen anywhere else. The entertainment was fun, surprising and fully engaging.

  • Amazing!!

by ZA on 12/30/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

At the beginning the show started slow, but took off!! Absolutely loved it and how engaging with the crowd the whole cast was! The skills of the entire cast were so incredible and so captivating! The snowball fight, the spinners in the crowd, the audience onstage moment, the “snow” that fell onto the audience, and the low high high low audience tempo created so much fun! You guys put on an unbelievable performance thank you very much!!!

  • It was the best show

by Clau on 12/30/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

It is awesome, I loved it, I had seen four Cirque du Soleilshows and this one is my favorite

  • Sadly was not surprised.

by Dovi on 12/30/24Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Ok, the title may be a bit much but it's an honest feeling I had going in. The show was cute and magical but my biggest issue was price vs quality & show length. Should of had an intermission and an extra 20-30 minutes. The acts were great and love the actors. The problem for me at least is what I paid for verses what I received. Still love the cirque which is why I have seen more than half a dozen. The best is Cirque in the tent. When they move to small venues like Meridian you should expect less because they need to work with what the venue offers. Again, if they added an intermission and an extra 30 minutes this would have been great hiloday show. Cheers DG

by Malu on 12/30/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show! all performance were of great quality, and as always for cirque du soleil with unbelievable stunts. Bot my 5-year-old son and my 74-year-old mom were delighted. I highly recommend it.

  • Smaller scale but Big Emotion!

by Tisha M. on 12/30/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I became a Cirque Du Soleil convert only in the last year in Las Vegas and regret that I waited so long. I was excited about this Christmas production in Philadelphia and made a weekend trip from NYC to see it. I'm so glad that I did. This show was on a smaller scale fit for a 3,500 capacity theatre. The entire performance (except for some audience interaction toward the end) was done on stage. Even though the usual overheard action was lacking, the BIG EMOTIONS came through as did the athleticism, skill, musicality, poetry, and artistry of all the performers. I LOVED it and highly recommend that you see this show to add some dazzle to your holidays!

  • Save Your Money

by Alyssa on 12/30/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 2 out of 5

I was really looking forward to this show as I haven't seen a Cirque Du Soleil show in some years. I knew that it wasn't going to be the caliber of shows that I have seen before seeing that it is a holiday show and a touring show, but I was extremely disappointed; so much so that I wish I could get my money back. There were a few really cool things that some of the artists did, but overall it was a big time let down. I can assure you that you aren't missing much.

  • Excellent

  • Never Disappoints!

by Ian on 12/30/24Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

You can always expect an over the top fantastic experience from anything out of Cirque du Soleil, but this was just everything and more for my taste. Everything was on point from the acts to the story to the music. I would 150% you see this again.

  • A Wonderful Performance!

by Marilyn P on 12/29/24Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

My sister and I saw Cirque du Soleil “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas “ at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. A start to finish Christmas celebration! It was so much fun to watch, the costumes were festive and fun, the performances were amazing, and it was the perfect way to celebrate Christmas week! It was fast moving, colorful, and skilled. I highly recommend!

  • Fun show made less fun by theater

by Fun show made less fun by theater on 12/29/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 3 out of 5

The show itself was very fun for the whole family. The theater’s accommodations for individuals with limited mobility felt counterproductive. The designated “semi-ambulatory seating” was nothing more than a standard seat at the back of the main floor, directly in front of the stage technicians, whose activities proved to be distracting at times. What I found most concerning was the requirement to store my mobility device—a knee scooter—along the wall two sections away from my seat. This left me with no immediate access to it and forced me to rest my injured foot in the aisle. While I was fortunate to have my spouse available to retrieve the scooter if needed, I would have been left in a precarious and unsafe situation had I attended alone.

  • Average performance.

by Julia on 12/29/24Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Not great or fabulous. Sound level was very loud unreasonably. Lights/ projectors were focused directly to audience during a few performances, what made impossible to watch the show.

  • Аmateur theatre at a nearby junior high school

by DD on 12/29/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 1 out of 5

With such high price limited number of performers, almost nothing for lighting and no special effects. You cannot compare it with Las Vegas shows

  • Circ du Soleil: Twas the Night Before

by Happy Customer on 12/29/24The Met Presented by Highmark - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I loved this show. We go as a family every year to a show or event around Christmas time in Philadelphia and this year we decided to go to this. I loved the event and everyone was amazing in all they did. A wonderful show that kept me entertained the entire time. I would go again next year if offered. My only complaint is there is no good parking in the area. We ended up taking an Uber to get there from Center City where we had parked prior. Expensive parking overall and transportation to get there.

  • Aggressively mid

by WhateverMan on 12/29/24Meridian Hall - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Some parts of the show were pretty cool and actually what you expect when you think of the circus, but too much of it was comprised of mediocre synchronized dancing and overwhelmingly cringe music. They could probably fit the whole thing in 45 minutes of performance actually worth watching. I feel like if I had paid for a hip hop or k pop dance competition i probably would have gotten more of my money’s worth, if I wanted to see actual good dancing.
