I thought this show was very good. It was very festive and I loved the music. However, I have been to numerous Cirque shows and this was not as acrobratic and thrilling as other ones I have attended. The price was a bit high also. But overall, well done.
The name makes it sound like a good show but it’s a mediocre show!
To much dancing, I didn’t expect that. I’ve seen other shows with more acrobatic moves. Kids had fun anyway. I wouldn’t see this show again.
The show was it’s ok. I don’t think I will go again.
The show was good but so many people were let in late making it hard to enjoy the first half hour of the show. I could not see because people kept blocking my view.
Good music and acrobats combined with grace and daring feats! Fun to watch with family.
This show - like all Cirq shows - was very well done and engaging! It was only barely an hour and a half in duration though, which was disappointing.
We had a wonderful time at "Twas the Night Before..."by Cirque du Soleil at Madison Square Gardens Theater. The seats were amazing and the show was great. The workers at the Garden were great from the nice guy at the snack bar to the lady who helped us use the elevator when exiting for my mom. It was a wonderful show in a beautiful venue. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a little Christmas magic.
There were only two instances, at the end of the performance that were really "wow"performances. The rest was dance motions that could Xavier's fine arts department could have done just as well if not better. The scenery was scant and the concept difficult to follow. It was my daughter's first Cirque du Soleil experience that she could remember and she enjoyed it. I've seen other performances and this one was do lacking in the oohs and aah's that other Cirque du Soleil have been known for that I found myself wondering if this troupe was it's in training group.
We were so excited to see Cirque du Soleil this year for our annual Christmas outing. Myself and my 3 adult sons have been to many past performances from Varekai, Ka, Love & others, and have enjoyed every one. This was awful. Amateurish at best. I felt like this was just pulled together for the NYC tourist wanting to celebrate the holidays. In addition to the disappointing show, the MSG theater experience was also a disaster. Only one line for bag checks, when most of the audience were shopping in NY all day. We weren’t, but we did have one back pack between the 4 of us. It took about 45 minutes to get through the line & more time to get into the theater. At this point the show had started, and there was no one to show us to our seats. We were not alone in our efforts, as many people were delayed due to the long lines and minimal staff. When we did finally find our seats they were occupied! The whole thing was a waste of time & money.
This is an amazing event for the whole family. Keeps you highly interested during the whole event. Every scene is so beautiful
Thoroughly enjoyed the Excellent choreography set to fun,upbeat,modern interpretation of this Night Before Christmas fantasy!
I have been to these type of shows but, this was the first show my daughter encountered she was so happy to see the things they were doing as I knew she would !!!
I was expected little more from the Cirque de Soleil performance.
Our family attended Twas the Night and really enjoyed it. From 6 to 71 years of age, we all enjoyed it. The venue was good too.
Fantastic performance! We've now attended for the second year in a row. Bringing the kids along this time added to the experience, as they too were captivated by the impressive acrobatics and stunts showcased. The sheer skill and choreography displayed throughout the show kept us all thoroughly engaged from start to finish. Highly recommended!
For this to be a Cirque du soleil production I was not impressed. I have been to many other cirque du soleil shows which was better quality of production. The kids enjoyed the show which was all that mattered but I wasn't impressed with the quality of the show and for how much I paid for the tickets.
Wish there were more tricks / acrobatics and less "trendy dancing"
‘‘Twas the Night Before Christmas was a spectacular show. The scenery was beautiful and the performance was excellent. Would highly recommend for all ages.
