For most songs, Kathy Phillips really sounded like Stevie Nicks -- and the other band members sounded great as well. Maryland Theatre is a wonderful venue with great acoustics. I would have preferred a little more lighting and a change of the background scenery picture. Show was well worth the price.
We go to tons of shows and many are Tribute bands. With most of them if you close your eyes you think you’re listening to the real band. I was disappointed by Tusk. The guy playing the guitar and the girl on the keyboard was really singing lead and the lead singer was just the backup singer. She was just there dancing in the costumes which looked good but she wasn’t the singer. If you were in the back you probably couldn’t tell but it was disappointing from the front row where you could really see everything.
They did a bang up job I would go see them over and over again it was a great show
The band Tusk was fine. Unfortunately the venue has turned into a place where the roudy and unruly people rule. It was difficult at best to enjoy the concert when people who have no respect for those who came to enjoy the evening cannot because of the show within the show that takes place. We were very dissatisfied with the management yet again for allowing this to take place.
Tusk does a wonderful job with their music and presentation. Thank you!!
Comparing to another Fleetwood Mac cover event a month ago at a different local venue. The area in front of the stage (for Tusk) was rows of folding chairs which created an atmosphere of viewing versus dancing and audience interaction... Tusk has good musicians and vocalists but.... they just seem tired and going through the motions... maybe that had something to do with the stiffness of the seated audience. The security?🤷♀️People were a bit over zealous. I’m sure the other venue I went to had them too but the whole atmosphere was entirely different. Aura could do better is my overall thought. Tusk could do better at being excited about performing.
The music was good and the band gave brief histories of the songs they played which made it even more interesting. The venue was small and intimate so we all had pretty good seats
The show was ok and met expectations. I was disappointed with the cost of the tickets being $30 each and to add insult to injury another $22 in Ticketmaster fees on top of that. This show would have been worth maybe $20/ticket inclusive of fees. For the same cost, we can see higher quality performers at other venues close by. We love the Jefferson Theater and want to support it, so we will probably continue to purchase tickets to similar performances, but wish the pricing was more commerencent with the quality.
It was one of the BEST Shows that I've seen in awhile. I would recommend going to go these artists! Very Very GOOD!!!
Venue was awesome. Both bands were great!! I would come here again for other events.
The night was beautiful at this venue. Tusk was fabulous. Eaglemania was almost as good. A wonderful evening filled with great music.
