About

Trippie Redd In Concert

When rapper Trippie Redd, aka Michael White, gets in front of an audience, it's less a performance and more a raw, unbridled parade of emotions. He reaches deep down to access his most intense feelings and share them with his audience. The passion, hatred, hope, mistrust, joy, sadness, anger, and love in his heart is laid bare for all to see. And of course, in the process, he trots out tunes that went viral and made him a million-selling artist before he was out of his teens, including such crowd-pleasers as "Love Scars," "Dark Knight Dummo," and "Taking a Walk." With a sound that blends hip-hop flow, R&B grooves, and moody alt-rock atmosphere, Trippie Redd is able to attract audiences from across the genre spectrum. He delivers a show full of urgency, intensity, and a visceral dose of street reality as it is experienced in America today.

Trippie Redd Background

Like so many who grabbed the brass ring before him, Trippie Redd came from humble circumstances but created a musical approach that endeared him to millions. He was born Michael White in Canton, Ohio, to an incarcerated father and a mother who had to shoulder the burden of parenthood alone. The budding performer soaked in the sounds of ‘90s R&B and hip-hop from his mother, and those influences fed his own musical vision, which revealed itself at an early age. By the time he was 17, Trippie Redd had released his first mixtape, 2017's ‘A Love Letter to You,' which busted through to the Billboard charts despite its indie origins. By the time 2018 rolled around, the precocious performer had himself a couple of platinum singles ("Love Scars" and "Dark Knight Dummo") and a No. 3 mixtape, ‘A Love Letter to You 3.' That same year, he got around to releasing his first full-length LP, ‘Life's a Trip,' taking it all the way to No. 4 on the Hot 100.

    Worst concert ever

    by Viridiana on 10/9/23

The concert should’ve just been cancelled. Most of the concert consisted of a dj playing random songs and other artist. I waited almost 2 hours just for Trippie to go on and sing for 20 minutes then have other people sing. He also got there late and then just ended the show with no saying. Wish I never went waste of money

    Disappointed second show and last

by Tiff on 10/8/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

This is our second time going we went back in October 2021. This one was lame as hell & he didn’t even sing that long. Very disappointed. Wish I could get my money back.

    Not that good

by Reyna on 10/8/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

My experience was not that good because the rapper came two hours late from the time of the show and then left early with leaving everybody confused on weather they should leave or stay after singing for only 15 minutes and just a few songs.

i bought lucki tickets and did not see lucki

by jo on 10/8/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

show starts at 7:30. i walk in at 7:45. i’m standing there for two hours until the show starts at 9:30. the djs kept repeating the same songs until trippie finally came on. he played 10 unreleased songs and barely two full minutes of songs anyone knew. instead of the lineup that was advertised (lucki, d savage, jean dawson, k suave, ekkstacy) he brought out mgk and lil xan. ???? mgk stayed for 3 songs and lil xan did 1 and dipped. eem triplin was the only real highlight imo. chris king had good energy too. at 10:15 trippie just walks away and all the lights come on and they kick everyone out. i need my money back

The tour should’ve just been canceled

by Truthfully on 10/8/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

How does a 40 minute show count as a concert it was less than a concert and knowing all his other dates were canceled the same should’ve been done here. He shows up late to the only concert he left on his tour and doesn’t bring the guest promoted for the concert and breaks his mic and randomly leaves between 30-40 minutes later his set barely begins

    Mid dont Pay over 100

by Kj on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

It was a vibe but he came on at 9 when the concert started at 7. Trippie also didn’t sing half hid hits. He had MGK and some other friends come in for like 4 songs and then screamed the whole time throug his own songs. Then I think got kicked off stage at 10:15. This was at the forum so I thought the curfew was 11. Idk tbh. Not worth the money for me again.

    Awesome but not long enough

by Luke on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

I’ve always loved Trippie since 2018 and haven’t seen him since the last tour 2 years ago so I couldn’t wait for this show. Unfortunately he only was on the stage for about 40 minutes start to finish which was not long enough for anyone, especially since the entire audience started chanting “we want more” after he left. But I still had an amazing time! Trippie is and always has been a great performer and I raged the whole time he was there😎

    I was lied to….

by Cal on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

Trippe Redd didn’t play any of his rager music. His openers weren’t the ones originally promised. Mind you the openers were a big reason as to why I bought my ticket in the first place because they are some of my favorite rappers at the moment. It went from potentially being concert of the year for me to an experience I wish I could forget… I hope me and everyone else that feels this way can be issued a refund.

    Terrible

by Da Gawd on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

Terrible! He performed literally 20 min. The opening DJ lasted longer than him. He didn’t sing at all because he was smoking the whole time. Waste of money.if I could put zero stars I would!

    Worst concert ever!

by Hulksterbater on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

I was there for trippie red, he end up performing for less 40 minutes almost like 30. For no apparent reason then I find out he cancel the rest of his tour. I didn't pay good money to see dj for 3 hrs then trippie for less then 30. The advertising for this concert was trippie redd and friends. Half his friends didn't even perform just pretend they were rapping and just letting there songs play and people that were announce for line up half weren't played and those that were they're only played a song and left. I want my money back.

    Late

by David on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

He showed up late performed maybe 1 or 2 songs actually and then let the music play in the background for most of the show . Wasn't worth the 30 dollars I paid

    Not a good concert.

by Trisha on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

Went to see Trippie Redd who came out what feels like extra late. His performance wasn’t good. He was screaming majority of his songs. He brought out a special guest & they played a song which they just lip sang to. Then he left out of no where. He just walked off stage & all the lights came on. He didn’t even specify it was his last song or he was done for the night. He was probably out less than hour & it was just a waste of money and my long drive to see. Wouldn’t purchase a ticket to see him ever again.

    Dissapointed

by Steve Madrigal on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

He left way too early and came out way too late. I will not be willing to attend for ticket prices who are sky high. It was honestly unfair.

Terrible decision to attend this concert

by JB on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

Terrible event. Waste of money to see Trippie Red. He played for maybe 40 minutes and did not even perform, just danced around with the mic by his side.

Terrible worst concert I’ve ever been to

by Alexis on 10/7/23Kia Forum - Inglewood

incredibly over crowded, he came 2 hours late and played songs nobody knew only played 2 songs people actually liked. then walked off stage the lights turned on apparently that was the end no goodbye or anything. we all thought the concert was barley starting. I’ve been to 200+ concerts and this was by far the worst. I’ve been a fan for 5+ years and this was a huge disappointment
