Established country singer Travis Tritt has delivered a healthy dose of mainstream country with Southern rock influence to ticket holders nationwide since his 1990 arrival with the double-platinum debut “Country Club.” The only hat-less country star of that era (consider his counterparts Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson, for example), the Georgia-born performer has stayed busy ever since. His extensive discography is comprised of 11 studio releases and 39 singles that made it onto Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. “Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares),” “Can I Trust You With My Heart,” “Anymore” and “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” are among the most popular Tritt hits. Tritt has hit the tour trail several times over the years with fellow country crooner and close friend Marty Stuart, though most recently, the singer/songwriter has tackled solo acoustic concerts across the United States. His latest release, “The Calm After…,” is a reworked re-release of 2007’s “The Storm,” co-produced by former “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson.

We enjoyed his old tunes, the couple off the newer album and we happy that they did some cover tunes. The acoustic set in the middle has been my favorite all three times. Travis can play a mean guitar and he sure can sing!

by shootist1671 on 7/19/09Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - Veronathe boy sang and played country like country should sound ... the band was tight and in the groove... tritts guitar skills were amazing his version of srv's texas flood would have done stevie proud coupled with his lead player who himself was extraordinary on the guitar made for a great evening of good entertainemnt,...tripps rapor with the audience down home friendly demeanor were ingratiating.

by otown50 on 7/13/09House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoThis was my first show at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney. I was amazed at how close we were to the stage. This small intimate venue was perfect for a performer like Travis Tritt. He sounded great, but the best part was the way he interacted with the audience. He was there to party and give the crowd a good show. He did that, he performed for three hours straight. This was one of the best concerts I have ever seen.

WE GO SEE HIM WHENEVER HE IS WITHIN 100 MILES FROM OUR HOME. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES WE HAVE SEEN HIM ALREADY BUT I WILL CONTINUE TO GO BACK AS LONG AS I AM ABLE.
