About

Established country singer Travis Tritt has delivered a healthy dose of mainstream country with Southern rock influence to ticket holders nationwide since his 1990 arrival with the double-platinum debut “Country Club.” The only hat-less country star of that era (consider his counterparts Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson, for example), the Georgia-born performer has stayed busy ever since. His extensive discography is comprised of 11 studio releases and 39 singles that made it onto Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. “Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares),” “Can I Trust You With My Heart,” “Anymore” and “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” are among the most popular Tritt hits.   Tritt has hit the tour trail several times over the years with fellow country crooner and close friend Marty Stuart, though most recently, the singer/songwriter has tackled solo acoustic concerts across the United States. His latest release, “The Calm After…,” is a reworked re-release of 2007’s “The Storm,” co-produced by former “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson.

Travis Tritt could have been better organized

by jobee on 8/18/09Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

I was dissapointed that they stated the doors would open at 6:00pm and didn't open till almost 7:00pm.Then there was standing only and not enough tables and chairs.Travis Tritt was very good just seemed like it was way too long before we actually got to see him perform. They didn't start performaces untill 9:45pm when advertisement said 8:00pm. That was very dissapointing.

Travis Tritt was good but took forever to come on

by GisMom on 8/17/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Doors opened at 8pm...2 backup bands...and finally at around 10:20 pm Travis Tritt finally came on stage! Too crowded of a place to wait over 2 hrs (plus the 1 hour on line outside!). His bus was outside at 7pm so the show really should have started earlier or at least advise people that 10pm or so is starting time so you don't stand around so long if you don't want to (venue was general admission..and no seats). Travis Tritt was good in general, but not worth the wait.

by Qsue on 8/17/09Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

I have seen him several times and he has never let me down. He IS BY FAR THE BEST COUNTRY performer there is. It took way too long for you to open the doors.

    Travis was on fire...as usual!!!

by Frontrowjax on 8/17/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Throughly enjoyed Travis, of course, from the front row. I have seen him 9 other times in mostly larger venues. I was excited to see him for my 10th time in his "accoustical" version (although I do love Wendyl Cox and the rest of his band!) Weather you're a country fan or not, I would highly recommend a Travis Tritt Concert to anyone that wants to experience a "Top Notch Performance"--once you go...you know!!! Trust me, when I say 5 stars...Amazing!!...I mean it!!

    Travis was great as always

by JoeyinFL on 8/17/09Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

Travis was wonderful! He always is! Our only issue is that the bar did not have a good enough sound system to do justice to his his show.

    Travis Tritt was flawless!!

by Chrader on 8/17/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

I have never heard a better solo artist and his voice is just as fantastic live as it is on the radio!!!! He is very personable and really has a way of connecting with his audience. I would definitely see Travis again and recommend him to others. The only diappointment of the evening is that he didn't perform "Tell me I was Dreaming". It is my all time favorite of his!! He definiely should add it to his play list!! Overall, one of the BEST concerts I have ever seen!!!

by Ddallas1060 on 8/17/09Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

This was the first time i have seen Travis Tritt he was unbelieveable, and i'm not really a country music person but i would go see him again,he needs to play some where else instead of a bar like St. Augustine ampitheater you can get more people there. Next time he should play more songs the ones he did were great but there's alot i didn't hear,he has a awsome voice and boy he can play the guitar.

    Great Show

by zzsis1 on 8/17/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Really enjoyed Travis Trit. He played all the faves I listen to that made me want to go in the first place. it was an acoustic show so his guitar skills were very obvious. I loved the venue.... Revolution Live. The show was in a stage area, with plenty of room for fans to get right down next to the performance, and was surrounded by the main floor with balcony view of the show. There were no seats, but a bar and lounge set up. Great views of performers. Lots of fun. I would go see him again.

    Seeing Travis was so amazing!

by sherry1 on 8/17/09House of Blues Myrtle Beach - Myrtle Beach

To be able to see Travis up close next to the stage was amazing. With only the sound of his unique voice, and a single guitar, was like sitting in his own living room. He played continuously, and joked a bit in between. His smile and his stories were proof that he is a very down to earth home boy. He loved seeing the bar packed full just for him. He is so talented. This small gig was a wonderful way to see the real Travis Tritt. He played his most popular tunes, maybe some unrecorded tunes, and tributes to his closest friends. This was worth the 8 hour drive, the 5 hours of standing, and all the other associated expenses we incurred on this wonderful trip. If only we could have met him afterwards........

I've always been a Travis Tritt fan and this was the first time I had been to The House Of Blues and the first to hear Travis sing. I thought he gave an outstanding performance. I've never seen an artist more in their element than he was. His guitar playing was beautiful. He really is a talented musician. I love to hear to him sing!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD JOB Travis!!!!!

I thought the Travis Tritt performance was over the top. When you are that talented you do no need a band. I have seen Travis in the past with the band and other country stars this was by far my favorite concert of his. I'd love to see hime again!

    Travis Tritt was wonderful!!

by LuLu23 on 8/17/09House of Blues Myrtle Beach - Myrtle Beach

A man and his guitar...what more could you ask for? The show was simple and quiet at times (like when he plaid a soft and beautiful version of Drift off to Dream), but wild and rockin' during songs like Trouble and I'm Gonna Be Somebody. The set up at House of Blues was perfect for him and I would highly recommend going to see the show if you dug his songs at anytime or still do. He plaid EVERYTHING!!! From crowd pleasers like Here's a Quarter to Country Club...to some cool cuts from Walen and Johnny Cash (I Walk the Line). You will not be disappointed.

    Travis is absolutely awesome.

by cableguru on 8/16/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

I am a rock N Roller by nature but Travis is one of the few exceptions. I listen to some country but I listen to Travis all the time and have every album he has released. His ability to mix country with Southern Rock is amazing. What I like about him the most though is his songwriting ability, his deep and bluesy voice which gets me everytime not to mention that he is a hell of a show man.

    Worth the wait....

by FLF46 on 8/16/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

After a long wait between the second opening show, Travis came on and did NOT let us down in this acoustic show. He stopped to chat with the audience a few times but basically went from one awesome number to the next. His guitar playing was astounding.

    Good Show

by tina1539 on 8/16/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Travis Tritt played a good show, he included all his hits and the crowd was definetly pleased. The venue was ok, wished there was more room to see him. Drinks were WAY too expensive.
