The holidays rock a whole lot harder than they ever have thanks to Trans-Siberian Orchestra. By infusing seasonal classics with rock flamboyance, a symphonic sense of scope, and an eye-popping visual presentation complete with lasers and pyrotechnics, what began as a side project for a veteran group of American hard rockers has grown into one of today's top-selling acts, with over 10 million concert tickets sold since 1999.
Now, to celebrate the band's 20th year on the road, Trans-Siberian Orchestra is mounting an all-new production of the show that first turned them into an arena-rock phenomenon. First performed in 1999 and recorded for a TV special – which became just as much of a holiday staple as ‘The Sound of Music' – ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Eve' was conceived by Paul O'Neill, TSO's original mastermind. A veteran producer for acts like Aerosmith and Savatage, O'Neill was inspired by the rock operas of The Who and the grandly theatrical concerts of Pink Floyd to create something that was even more spectacular. Together with Savatage members Jon Oliva, Bob Kinkel, and Al Pitrelli, O'Neill developed a unique project that married the spirit of the season with all the exhilarating sounds, operatic grandeur, and visual bravura that fans had come to expect of rock gods. After the massive success of TSO's first two albums, ‘Christmas Eve and Other Stories' and ‘The Christmas Attic,' O'Neill and his team took it on the road (and TV screens) with similarly blockbuster results.
Though TSO's repertoire would extend far beyond holiday songs to encompass the greats of classical music on ‘Beethoven's Last Night' and O'Neill's own original rock operas like ‘Night Castle,' their thrilling and highly singular take on seasonal music remains their trademark. Tragically, O'Neill's passing in 2017 robbed the music world of a true visionary. But his team of friends and collaborators in the Trans-Siberian Orchestra honor his legacy with a new production of ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Past' that both preserves and revitalizes a landmark merger of music, theatrics, storytelling, and seasonal cheer that yielded an international phenomenon.

Got these tickets from a friend who wasn’t able to go, the show did not disappoint. Truly fabulous… What a great way to spend an evening with your family, enjoying music and a wonderful light show.

All the performers were amazing. The laser show and special effects were so creative. We always look forward to TSO coming to our area if they come to your area I would suggest you get this experience as a memory in your life.
T.S.O was amazing. Better than I could have imagined. My jaw dropped as soon as it started. I teared at my favorite song. I loved seeing the joy and fun they had on stage. It brought a bigger smile to my face.
The performers are wonderful but I guess I was spoiled and use to the past format . This time it seemed to long and I didn’t like it the changes….but like I said the talent is unbelievable and joyful to watch and listen too.
This has been our 7th time seeing TSO and it has become a family tradition. This year's show was a perfect balance between the classically-influenced heavy instrumentals and the singer-storyteller songs. Light show and visuals were incredible - as always. Great show and VERY highly recommended!
I hadn’t seen TSO in almost 20 years. This show at Golden One was amazing. The showmanship, sound, lights, and pyrotechnics were all top notch. My 9 year old son had the time of his life and was really inspired by the musicians. Every song brought back a lot of good memories from when I was younger. TSO played for almost three hours and it was their first show out of two that day. The energy they bring is incredible. If any of them are reading this, I’d like to recognize the sound and stage crew as they did an amazing job. Also the backup singers. You know that as soon as they came out on stage it was going to be an amazing song. The women were especially great to watch and listen to. Thank you TSO for a great show. As long as we’re able we want to see them every time they’re within driving distance.
TSO was the most musically and visually stunning concert we ever attended. Our four teenage grandchildren were enthralled and want to see it again! It will be an annual Christmas event for our family.
The show was mind blowing!! So many talented people. I've seen them many times and never get tired of them. If you've never seen them you're missing out on one of the most entertaining shows ever and the story they tell is very heart warming.

This was my 3rd year attending. One in Fresno and two in Sacramento. A different show every year by the same crew, very creative loved it.
our 16th year seeing them in the New England area and every time it' an incredible show. Music is spot on , the lights and pyrotechnics are amazing, and the vocal are unsurpassed. I tell everyone I know, if you haven't seen them yet you have to get there. If you've seen them before, you have to go back because it's constantly evolving.
Trans Siberian Orchestra delivers a show that hits like a wall of sound. The guitars are sharp the orchestra is powerful and the vocals cut through in all the right moments. The lights and pyrotechnics make the arena feel alive and every song builds into something bigger. You can tell the band loves performing and they keep the crowd locked in from start to finish. It’s the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season because the music, the story and the energy put you right into that winter vibe. If you’re into rock and want a concert that feels intense and unforgettable you need to see TSO live!

It’s hard to put into words what a spectacular and entertaining show TSO is to see, one that will keep your attention for hours on end, surprise after surprise. TSO is a show that you will remember for a lifetime, it’s that good!

My mom is a huge fan and I bought tickets for her birthday as she always wanted to see them in person and since they were coming to Ottawa it was perfect! The lighting the sound the performances all amazing we really enjoyed the experience
