    Love the Trailer Park Boys

by LOVETPB on 1/18/11Metropolitan Theatre - Morgantown

Because my daughter and I are the Trailer Park Boys biggest fans, we had high expectations from the performance. The show was wonderful! My 17 year old daugher was chosen for audiance participation and it truely made our night! She got to hug all three of the guys..she was in 7th Heaven! I know most of the folks who turn out for TPB shows have likely been partying. I just want to say..although the content of what those actors do is lighthearted, to say the least, I truely recognize the talent they possess and how serious they take their profession. They would be welcome to our home anytime if they ever pass through West Virginia again. We'd absolutley love to have them. Thank you guys for giving us a wonderful evening..can't wait to see you again and follow all that you do.

    Even better than I expected!

    by jewell150 on 1/18/11Metropolitan Theatre - Morgantown

The show was even better than I expected! It was hard to hear some of the dialoge but what I did hear was hilarious. I wish they would have used more scene changes and props to bring the show to life but overall I really enjoyed it!

    Trailer Park Boys were awesome!

by LBlossom on 1/18/11Metropolitan Theatre - Morgantown

We weren't sure what to expect from a TV show going to the stage, but we had a great time! Bubbles is hysterically funny, Ricky is so dense he's funny, and Julian just kind of stands around looking good. All-in-all, I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates mindless stupid humor.

I SENT MY BOYFRIEND AND HIS FRIENDS DOWN AND THEY LOVED IT. THEY THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY AND ENTERTAINING. PLUS THEY EVEN GOT TO MEET THE RICKY AND JULIAN. WHICH EVEN MADE IT BETTER.

the venue overbooked the seats, so we ended up standing for the show, but it was HILARIOUS. if you have ever been curious how they would bring the tv show to stage, do yourself a favor and find out.

Sorry guys, but you were hungover and it showed. Not the greatest sketches either, but hey, they weren't the worst either. Nice to see you out here though!

What a great show. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was better than I could have imagined. The guys know how to improv and the comedy was so funny. I am still laughing out loud about scenes from the show.

Do not miss this show if it is coming to your town. Bubbs, Ricky and Julian were awesome, and the crowd gets to help out with the show. Watch out for Conky!

The Trailer Park Boys are Awesome!

by breezle on 10/30/10Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

We bought our tickets right away, without hesitation. We had no idea what to expect, but knew that it would be a good show no matter what. And it was! Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles were all on fire. They did the usual character stuff that one would expect, plus so much more. Bubbles really came out with some new facets of his personality. The theme for the show we saw was that Bubbles was trying to put together an audition video to get himself into the new Jackie Chan movie, and the whole show consisted of them trying to make one worthy video to send in, as well as a whole bunch of other funny stuff. There was quite a bit of audience participation, which was mostly great. There was one really obnoxious and SUPER-annoying woman, who somehow managed to get herself on stage THREE times! Anyway, the entire audience was really tired of her by the end, and she got seriously booed. She kind of spoiled the show a bit because when she wasn't being obnoxious on stage, she was yelling all kinds of annoying stuff from her seat. But seeing her get dissed by the audience (and TPB) made it all kind of worth it in the end. I will definitely be keeping my eyes and ears open for another show. I love the boys. Oh, and by the way, the people sitting behind us came all the way from St. Louis, just to see the show! A lot of people traveled from varying distances to see the show. It was awesome!

Clever and very much like the TV series. Audience interaction was amazing. Not for everyone, but if you enjoyed the series, you'll enjoy seeing them live.

complete waste of time and money

by jugodeuva on 10/30/10Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

This show was terrible. I loved the TV show, but this was the worst. Boring, bad, not funny. Horrible venue, crowd out of control. Somebody 2 seats away threw up, nobody took action. I told a venue person about the vomit, he said "Yeah, we know".

Ricky, Julian and Bubbles were amazing. Such funny and talented fellows. We didn't know what to expect before the show and were were very pleased with what we saw. We had a great time, laughed a lot! I look forward to their next show but hope they keep the Trailer Park Boys alive and do more shows and movies. Don't miss them if they come to your town!

Show was great. The boys were in good form. The crowd however was out of control. so loud at times you could not even hear the show.

As funny as the show, and fresh

by JtothaDub on 10/29/10Aladdin Theater - Portland

Pretty sweet show. Bubbles is clearly driving the bus and Ricky and Julian are somewhat along for the ride. I think it's probably just that Julian's character doesn't lend itself to improv-type situations. Ricky was fairly strong, though, and clearly can adapt to changing situations onstage. Interestingly, although the people the boys got out of the audience just about completely tanked, they still made the bits work. Bubbles is brilliant in this type of situation, unsurprisingly. Nice long show. The boys did seem a little surprised when the crowd turned on one of the people they brought up on stage, which provided some pretty funny lines.

    Trailer Park Boys Was Disappointing

by MissedTheBoat on 10/29/10Aladdin Theater - Portland

I went to this show without really being sure what to expect. We loved the series and knew this show was likely to be a bit eccentric. Overall, the show felt pretty amateur. For the most part it lacked the originality and humor of the series and felt a bit like watching a high school play. The sound system wasn't all the great and much of the dialogue was "fuzzy" and hard to understand. Much of the crowd seemed to be "into" the show which was a mixed blessing ... the energy was up but we couldn't hear the actors over the yelling much of the time. The bottomline is that I think you would come away disappointed if you went expecting to be entertained and you would come away happy if you thought you were the entertainment. You can tell which camp I was in.
